He came very promptly and he was very professional and did his job quickly. I do recommend people think about installing a combination lock.

It was an emergency, and they send a technician within two hours after contacting them. The technician was on time and very professional. I live in a condo buidling and needed to find the facilities person to give us the master key. I was very grateful that the technician was patient and walked with me around the building until we found the facilities person with the master key.

The service rep was fantastic. He tried to fix the lock but it was beyond repair. He explained that you can not have just a regular key made at home depot for a smart key lock or the new keys will eventually damage the lock until it seizes up like mine did. It had bits of metal key stuck in it and now I have to buy a whole new lock for the front door. That is quite an expense! They honored my Angie's deal and charged me only a few bucks more. He was there for almost an hour working to repair the lock so I felt the cost was more than reasonable. I would use this vendor again.

The locksmith showed up, removed the cylinder from the lock (cylinder was taped in place) and took it to his truck. A few minutes later, he put the cylinder back in place. It's a little tight when you turn the key, but it's not a problem. We had a short discussion about using graphite in the lock; he said most people use too much. He suggested using a lubricating spray. It was all business.

Ben was great to work with - he arrived on Saturday morning and performed the work as we had discussed per our initial contact. We also discussed a third door where we were hoping to add a deadbolt. He worked on both original doors on Saturday and returned Sunday with the deadbolt for the third door (as we had only discussed on Saturday he did not have the extra lock with him). Ben was professional, clear and very helpful. Definitely recommend.

They were great. The previous owner had actually drilled out one of doors but Eastern Safe was able to put in a new lock and get both of the keys to match for us. Very good and professional service.

The guy who came out knew what he was doing, but he seemed a bit uninformed as to what the project was about even though I had already spoken to the company about it. However, it was a good service and I got a good discount.

Technician arrived promptly and went over details of the work. During this discussion, he presented optional approaches that helped us reduce the number of different keys throughout the house. when finished, he presented an itemized bill that indicated how the pre-paid services (from Angies Big Deal) had been applied, and where additional charges were made. All-in-all, I was very satisfied with level of service and reasonable price.

The locksmith was great! The receptionist at the office was not. It was understood that we were scheduling an eviction at 8:00 am. He told me someone would be there between 8:00 and 10:00 am. I let him know that I needed someone there promptly at 8:00 am. He stated that he could only give a time frame. Long story short that was not true.

They did a good job and I would use them again but even with the coupon, I thought the price was high. I have nothing to compare it to though since it was the first time I was using a locksmith. Overall, happy with the service.

Do not, do not, do not limit yourself to this locksmith; shop around for other high rated competitors and choose them first. I had a bad experience; here's the story. I saw a high Angie's List score and a deal for $35 worth of locksmith services for $75, so I purchased the deal. The purchase indicated someone would call me; I wait for a week and no one called. So, I called and explained I had a coupon. I set up an appointment to have the locksmith come look at my front doorknob (it was broken). He came out and declared it unfixable. He explained, "This is a Baldwin lock and they just don't make replacement parts for a Baldwin. You have to purchase an entire new set." Since I have double doors and needed a new set to match my other door, I asked him to check prices. We heard nothing from Eastern for over a week. So I went on Amazon and saw the prices. A few days later Eastern called me. They quoted me a price for a new lock set and it was much more expensive than Amazon sold the same unit for. I told him I'd think about it. I decided to call the Baldwin Corporation. There was a 1-800 number and I got an incredibly helpful operator. This guy knew locks. I described my set and he immediately told me the name of it. I asked him if Baldwin made separate parts. He said, "Of course." I said, "You mean I don't have to buy an entire new lockset?" He said, "No, in fact, since Baldwin has a lifetime warranty, you don't even have to pay for the parts. We'll just send them to you." I thought he was mistaken, so I asked him to repeat what he told me. He reiterated that Baldwin DOES made separate parts and those parts are FREE because Baldwin has a lifetime warranty. Even the shipping is free. I asked him for the parts and he said to expect them in a week. Then I called Eastern and explained what Baldwin told me. I said, "So Baldwin does make replacement parts and the parts are free." The Eastern employee said, "I didn't know that." I said, "Baldwin is an industry leader in locks, how do you not know Baldwin provides free parts? Didn't you even call them?" They were rhetorical questions. I then said, "I'd like a refund for my Angie's List coupon." He said, "We don't even get that money. All we get out of it is free advertising, so you'll have to call Angie's list for a refund." So, I called Angie's List and told the Customer Representative the whole story and she clarified things. She clarified that the contractor (Eastern) does get money and that I'd been misinformed by Eastern yet again. She was very helpful and sent me a form to process a refund. In the meantime, my Baldwin parts arrived, I fixed the lock set in about an hour, and I saved myself over $500. I'll repeat that because I like seeing it, I saved myself over $500 by not using Eastern. In short, I love Baldwin and will always purchase their locks from now on, and I do not love Eastern because they are unresponsive, uninformed, and overpriced. I would have given them an "F" except for the fact that the employees were not rude and that counts for something. If I hadn't checked myself, I would have paid a lot of money and would have thought Eastern Locksmith was pretty good (albeit, VERY slow); but I did my checking and found out that Eastern was prepared to charge me several hundred dollars when in fact I didn't have to spend anything. Yes to Baldwin, no to Eastern; it's that simple.

Everything seemed to run smoothly, but the appointment took a lot longer than either the locksmith or I expected. The locksmith was professional and provided an excellent service.

It went really well. We got a lot of useful information from him. He replaced all our locks throughout the house and gave us guidance on maintaining them.

Installer was nice and professional. He was patient to explain what works and don't. However, they came out 2nd time to fix things and charge $89 for the visit. We called the manangement and tried to talk to them. They never called back. It seems they are too busy for their clients.

The repairman that came was very professional and friendly. He performed extra work and cleaned the lock that he re-keyed for me without charging me extra money! I was really happy about that because I didn't know the condition of my lock. I would like to use them again in the near future.

This company was wonderful to work with. They were on time and did a great job. I had a purse stolen and the check that I gave to them was returned. Instead of them charging me, they came back to my home and asked me if I could give another check to them. This was how I found out that my purse had previously been stolen. I would highly recommend this company.

He did the job just right -- of course, he also had the standard Allen wrench I didn't, which explains why I couldn't tighten the latch with the metric Allen wrench I had. Afterward, we just talked for a while. He's local and we have a lot in common. t

Showed up maybe 10-15 minutes late but called about 45 minutes before to tell me they were running late. I showed them what my problems were - they made suggestions that were cheaper than what I thought to do. Locks are still working great.
