We called at 3:30 pm; they offered the current deal which was an amazing deal and told us they would do it as their last job of the day. They got to us in 30 minutes and picked the lock to get us in. He was polite, prompt, and technically excellent. What more could you want?

Very professional, punctual, and did a great job. They were able to work with me in a landlord/tenant situation (meaning they don't bill the tenant). I'd work with them again.

The person who was making an appointment for the service was not very helpful and fairly abrupt. However, it did not hamper my getting the appointment so I did not mind.

He was courteous, prompt and efficient.

Very responsive, timely. Re-keys do not work as well as prior keys.

The provider showed up on time and rekeyed all the exterior locks. He then checked the locks and offered to make additional keys. Had everything he needed on his truck and the job was done in no time. Excellent work.

He came very quickly and cleaned the lock out and then educated us on how to prevent this from happening in the future. He cleaned out one more lock at no extra charge as well.

When I called to schedule an appointment Eastern was available same day for this service. I scheduled the appointment for the following day. The technician, Ben, arrived a few minutes earlier than my scheduled appointment time and went right to work. Ben was very knowledgeable and professional and was able to complete the rekeying of all six locks very quickly. I was very impressed from initial contact with Eastern through completion of the job by Ben. This is a company that takes pride in it's work and appreciates it's customers. I would definitely recommend their services to others and I will definitely call them again for any future lock or safe needs I may have.

Easy to schedule, showed up on time, and did the work well/quickly. The only nit I have is the same one I have with most of the "deals" on Angie's list. There is always more cost in the fine print. This time, I purchased $75 of work for $35. So I paid them $35 up front. They charge $89 to show up then $22 a lock minus the discount so for one lock it was $71 ($89 + $22 - $75 + $35). Hardly the $35 the add seemed to imply. I know it's not bait and switch, and they immediately disclose the full cost when you set up the appointment, but I can't help but feel I am being a bit mislead. Still for the town I am in, it was a fair cost and excellent service. Just not an amazing deal.

Eastern was responsive and scheduled me quickly. The serviceman was polite and didn't take too long. I did have to call them back because the new lock wasnt flush with the door and wasnt locking properly. They came back and fixed it and all has been fine.

The person who was supposed to rekey our lock did not arrive for the appointment. Although the company had reconfirmed our appointment a couple days prior, they called the day of the appointment to reconfirm. I had provided the company my husbands phone number to call that day because I was in meetings all day and was not available by phone. the company did not call my husband. As such, the company decided to just cancel the appointment because they did not hear from me. I called the company to ask where the technician was. They explained that they have so many customers who (despite prior confirmation )do not show up for appointments, that they have to also reconfirm hours before the technician arrives. The person who answered the phone was extremely rude and blamed the canceled appointment on me. I asked if they had a record of my prior phone calls and emails via Angie's list to confirm the appointment. He said that he does not check Angie's list. I was finally handed over to a manager, who was able to find a technician to come over that day to rekey my locks. This technician was one of the most rude and unprofessional workers I have ever had in my home.The manager who I had spoken with said that I did not need to be present when the technician rekeyed the locks. I had some painters in my home in the apartment to allow the technician access to the apartment. Despite the assurance that I did not need to be home, I received several angry phone calls from both the manager and the technician asking where I was?they said that they needed the original key in order to rekey the lock. As such, I immediately headed over to the apartment to provide the technician the key. I parked my car and as I was walking toward my building, a technician walked out of the building. I asked if he was with the lock company and introduced myself saying that I had the key for him. He didn't even look at me, continued to keep walking past me and under his breath said "I don't need the key. your new keys are on your countertop." I could not believe that the company had made such a big deal out of needing the original key, when he did not in fact need this key. Then to make matters worse, he could not even stop to acknowledge me and tell me about the situation. When I called the manager back to talk about the situation and to clarify where the misunderstanding was, she was extremely angry with me, and said that the whole day had been a mess and indicated that it was my fault. I will never do business with this company again.

Everything went very well, and it was a great experience. The company worked with my schedule, the locksmith arrived on time, and he did a good job with all of the locks. We'd definitely recommend the company.

Provider was punctual, professional and competent. No complaints. Price was a bit high in my opinion, but may well be in line with what other locksmiths charge.

I am 100% satisfied with Eastern Safe & Lock and would hire them again. The Locksmith Ben DeBerry was very professional, nice, courteous, and a pleasure to work with. He had to work an entire day on the numerous projects I had, and he never once complained or seemed to rush. He got every single item on the to do list completed and nearly 2 months later, I am still very pleased with his work. He was also very prompt in both the estimate and on the day work was scheduled.

Appointment window was 2 hours and I didn't get a call 30 minutes prior to arrival as promised. But other than that the service was great. The technician was knowledgeable and gave me advice about our existing door locks, explained what "high-security" locks are, residential security boxes vs. safes, how to maintain our door locks (quick spritz of WD40 every few months right into the lock cylinder) etc. Job took about 1 hour in total.

Initially, I expected a tumbler repair and rekey. The technician Mark first diagnosed my existing lock tumbler and hardware as worn and broken beyond repair. He then travelled back down to their warehouse and located through existing inventory a better built tumbler hardware unit. His selection exhibited both working knowledge of the product line and concern for the customer receiving value. Note: I added in the Angieslist $35 coupon and $81 service and parts cost.
