I wish I could give a grade better than "A". We were not expecting such honesty and expert advice. There were more things we wanted him to do when we set up the service call. When he came out, he pointed out why certain things we were asking him to do would not result in the increased level of theft deterrent we were looking for. He basically refused hundreds of dollars we were willing to pay in order to help us achieve the increased level of safety we wanted. Trustworthy, prompt, courteous, expert, and thrifty. Where can you find that these days?

Prompt service (called in the morning - work was completed in the early afternoon) by courteous representative who was neat and efficient. Was especially pleased to receive same day service. Will definitely call upon this company again for any lock or security needs. Thanks for an excellent job!

They were great. They did what they said they would do. They communicated well. They were timely. The cost went over the big deal purchase price because I asked them to do more work. It was a reasonable increase. I asked them to do another door. What stood out the most was they did what they said they would do. They were easy to work with. The cost was reasonable. The quality of their work was good.

The technician arrived on time. He was very courteous and professional. He had all the required equipment in his truck. In about 30 minutes, the door locked had been rekeyed and I had four new keys in my hand. The lock works great and it is a relief that my home is secure again. I will definitely use this company when I need a locksmith.

This very nice man came and said the wood had probably swelled, and said he couldn't work on it because it was antique. However, he didn't charge me anything which I thought was very nice.

Great work and he is very professional and did his job well.

For the big deal service from Eastern Safe & Lock, I would give that pretty much all 'A's and maybe a 'B' or 'C' on punctuality. He was late. He was in a pretty dense traffic are so I wouldn't hold it against him too much but he was late. He only charged me for half hour of labor when it probably took him at least 3 times of that. They came the very next day in the morning which was great because I had broken the key in my lock. There was an additional charge apart from the big deal price. I don't know how much it was but it was reasonable, it was very reasonable. What I like the most is really more of my lack of objections. My lock still works great. He seemed to be competition and friendly. He didn't overcharge me. There is just nothing bad to say.

My front door lock (not the deadbolt lock, the one with the knob) was not working properly. When the knob was turned, the lock didn't completely retract. I thought that it was only loose screws which I couldn't tighten, but it was more than that. The existing lock wasn't installed properly and the screws had become stripped, both the screws themselves and the parts on the lock. The whole lock mechanism had to be replaced. He had the proper parts in his truck, and the price was very reasonable. He did the job very professionally, including resetting the lock to fit my existing keys, which also work the deadbolt. I was very pleased with the result

Vendor arrived early, a good plus. Vendor did not have enough key blanks on hand to make me 6 keys, only 2 made. Once re-key done I noticed lock on loosely, had vendor redo that. Next vendor was ready to leave, I pointed out grease he left on my door. He cleaned that up. His attitude was very good during rework/cleaning so I tipped him $10 bucks. I'm such a d*** softie!

Well, I was a little surprised to hear that when he came to do the repair, he did not have a deadbolt on his truck. He had to arrange a second trip (which made it less convenient as this is a rental property) to come back with the lock. He installed it and seemed to have a challenge to get the new lock into the door in a way that the key worked smoothly. It takes a little extra force to turn the key in the lock but he assures us it will not be a problem. Perhaps it was the way that the hole was cut in the door to accommodate the original deadbolt, so I'll give benefit of the doubt that the technician did the best he could with what he had to work with.

I called, the boy on the phone was rude and said it was $89 just to come out. They charge by the hour, but they may have to buy a part which would cost even more and not applied to time they might send on trying to fix lock before telling you it needed a part.....Totally rude and not helpful

Everything went extremely well. The company was responsive when we contacted them and set up a time and date. They showed up on time, were professional and the door lock and spare keys work perfectly. We will use this company again in the future.

It went very well. It took awhile but it was because they were old locks.

I was very disappointed with this service. They replaced the lower handle but not the dead bolt. A day later nothing was working. I called them back out and they wanted to charge me for the service call as well as fixing the issue. They did not apply the deal price for me either. I called the company to complain and they sent me a check. They were very hard to deal with.

I have high praise and would recommend them. They were prompt and efficient. The job was done with no problems.

Everything went great. The locksmith arrived on time (8:30 a.m. on an icy day) to re-key the locks on the front door of our new home to use one key. He easily replaced the first lock but when he took the deadbolt off, the insides had deteriorated/broke due to old age. While he didn't have a replacement piece with him, he returned with one later in the day and finished up the job quickly. We're very happy with the service (and that we now only need to carry one key around). I purchased the $35 for $75 of work deal. I ended up paying for an additional $60~ worth of work. I have no complaints about this but it seems quite a few reviewers were confused about the scope of the deal. It's essentially just a $40 off coupon and doesn't guarantee your bill total will be $75.

I just saw the provider's response and now I would definitely never use them or recommend them. Look at the first line of the response's bigoted beginning. He says, "Not sure this guy understands English very well". Ahh, I see because I have a Muslim name, I must not be able to understand English. Nevermind that I was born in the United States and attended top schools and graduated top of my class but alas, only people like this guy can 'Understand English well". Take your racist views elsewhere. I reported the response I got from you over the phone.

This company was fast, friendly and flexible. The technician gave some great advise to plan for the future, and waited for 25 minutes for someone to meet him at our door. He was genuinely friendly and worked fast. Thank you!!!

It was fine. They changed all the locks on my doors. They completed the work in an hour and a half. There were some extra costs because I asked for extra work but they were great!

The service was good. The cost was more than the $35 Big Deal. They were knowledgeable. I think the only negative experience was that when he was making our garage door the same lock, he made it the kind that would lock you out of the house and we did not ask for that. He did not ask us if that was the type of lock that we would want. It is the type that when you lock it in the inside and when you walk out, it closes and it locks you out. Other than that, it was a positive experience. They knew what they were doing.

It was fine but it took longer than I expected. I had some extra work done. They did everything I wanted. It looks good and everything seems to work. They were there when they said they'd be.

It was great. My husband was with them but they seemed have just done what we asked them to be done.

After a couple of fits and starts, it turned out okay. It was good. I’ve seen the deal, I called them directly, and the person I talked to said that he put me on the schedule. When I completed it and purchased it and I wanted to make sure what I wanted done was covered, he told me what the scheduled date was and he didn’t put in the system. When they didn’t show up, I had to call back in. It was on a weekend and I didn't want to pay for that so I had to wait until they could get me back on the schedule. It worked out. It was just the scheduling that I was frustrated with. It was more of the front office. The price and quality were good. The guy who came out did a great job and he was fine.
