The repair person came twice but could not repair the furnace, and the repair person told me I needed to buy a new one. M.E. Flow sent a “Comfort Advisor” to my house on 12/19/16 to present me options to purchase a new furnace, which I did at a price of $4687. They installed the new furnace the next day (12/20), but had to cut a huge hole in my living room wall because the installer messed up installing the control unit and lost the wire. They sent someone out about 2 weeks later to finally fix the hole, and I had to actually ask the person to repaint over the repair, which seemed like a no-brainer to me but is indicative of the quality of this company’s work. But that was just the beginning of this debacle. When they installed the new furnace, the installation person failed to seal one of the elbow pipes attached to the unit properly, which resulted in a slow-but-steady drip from the unit onto my basement floor. None of the safety sensors detected this leak and were not actually functioning, so the water pooled under my basement stairs and eventually seeped into the walls and hardwood floor surrounding the furnace closet. This leak destroyed my basement floor and I had to hire a water remediation company to dry out the basement. Once it was dry, I had to hire a company to rip up and replace 1050 square feet of engineered hardwood flooring, demolish and replace bookshelves, walls, etc., all due to the water damage caused by the $4687 new furnace that M.E. had just sold me and installed. When I called M.E. Flow to repair the leak, the technician told me “the seal didn’t take” on the new pipe, but then filled out the repair invoice and labeled it as a “pre-existing” condition, presumably to avoid liability for the damage caused by the horrible installation job. M.E. Flow denied any responsibility for the damages, and left me on my own. This furnace leak caused so much damage that I had made a claim with my insurance company in the amount of $27,271.37 for all the water remediation and repairs. But I have a $5000 deductible so I had to pay out of pocket just because I used M.E. Flow, M.E. Flow didn’t install the furnace correctly, then refused to stand behind the work of their installers. 3 months later, I am still putting my basement back together. I would have been better off hiring another company to just repair my old furnace, since I relied on M.E. Flow to install it correctly and they have made me pay the price for their terrible work. M.E. Flow has been sending me emails to tell me I need to schedule my Spring HVAC inspection, which was pre-paid under my annual service contract. Obviously, I would never trust the company that caused my basement to be destroyed because of the incompetence of their technicians to continue to inspect the unit they couldn’t even install correctly. So, I called M.E. Flow and asked for them to just send me a refund of whatever I pre-paid for the inspection and the customer service representative told me that there are no refunds because that is their policy. She said she would ask her service manager to make an exception, and he would call me back if they would allow a refund. This company continues to walk all over me after causing me so much hardship and economic loss. I would never recommend M.E. Flow to anyone, particularly because they make you sign a contract that allows them to escape liability for situations like mine—where the negligence or incompetence of their technicians has cost me thousands of dollars and weeks of inconvenience, stress and hassle dealing with an unwanted basement remodeling job I didn’t want. I feel like I was punished for using M.E. Flow. I think companies like M.E. Flow that refuse to stand behind their work and accept responsibility for the damage they cause to their customers do not deserve anyone’s hard-earned money.

Outstanding job. The technicians who accomplished the work, Doug, Danny and Josh, were professionals in every sense of the word. Not only did they accomplish the mission, they took the time to answer all of our questions about our new systems; nice touch. Also, a shout-out to JoAnne, who coordinated this project. We are new to the area but we have already decided that M E Flow is now our HVAC contractor of choice.

M.E Flow was so easy to work with and sent out an awesome technician named Sean. They arrived when they stated and Sean quickly took care of the plumbing issues I had and answered all of my questions and concerns. I will happy use them in the future and will gladly refer them to my clients. #greatservice

Very well. Allen was knowledgeable and courteous. The M.E. Flow technicians are always top-notch.

Excellent. Tech was prompt and really was a professional. No heavy upsell, did the job I expected, cleaned up after themselves, just everything I expected and a bit more. Because of the excellent job they did, I purchased a service agreement. Intend to use them again and have them be our go to company for heating and cooling.

But we didn't use them. They were responsive in the beginning, as far as coming out and doing a thorough talk on what they were going to do, what their plan was to put the unit in, install the unit and everything. But, he was here at least an hour, probably an hour and a half and that was a negative for me when they first called because I'm not interested in sitting down with somebody and having a sales pitch for that length of time. I had already done enough research to know exactly what I wanted. I just wanted somebody to come out and take a look, give me a price on a couple of different units. I knew the owner that passed away. So, before that happened, they were doing well. I'm not sure what happened after his passing. But, I know that they had hired somebody that was similar to the window guys that go out and do pressure sales. So that's what the guy that showed up to do the estimate was there, to get a sale. He had these plastic cards with the prices on there and I asked him if I could just take a picture with my phone of the prices so that I would have them to show it to my husband and think about it for the day and he said absolutely not and he wouldn't give me time to write down on paper what the prices were. So that was a turn off right there. I guess when he walked out the door the prices must change, as soon as he left. After that, I sent him a couple of e-mails just asking what I needed to find out what was on the cards. I had called him and left him a couple of messages and called and sent a couple of followup e-mails and I never heard anything back from him. They never called to followup. So that was the end of that. They probably were my second choice versus the guy we went with, but not after doing that.

I have a yearly contract with them and I pay them for the year about $140. They will come out in the spring. I usually call them around November for the heat, just to check the furnace. There was a mix up in the office at one point that I got a little annoyed at but it was a failure of just once person. So far, they have been responsive when I have called. I haven't had a real problem. They have been very thorough.

I was happy. I don't think that they charged me. I have been happy with them. As for their service people that came out, they could be A's. They know what they are doing. For the price, I am not sure because I have never compared them. People say that they are high but I feel that they are reasonable for what they do.

When my 12-year old water heater ruptured and starting leaking water onto my basement floor late on a Sunday afternoon, I immediately called M.E. Flow to see if they could help. Since I have experienced this kind of water heater failure in the past, I knew to turn off the heater's water valve and the gas line (the burner and pilot had been drowned out by the leaking tank). I also hooked up a hose to the tank's drain in order to avoid the remainder of the 50 gallons of water dumping into the basement. The person who answered the phone was very courteous and gave some good advice (basically the actions I took above). When I told her that I was OK to wait until the next day for a service call, she took my contact info and assured me that someone would call first thing next morning to set up an early appointment. Everything went exactly as promised, I got a call around 7:45 AM by Melinda who was very helpful and asked all the right questions about my problem. She informed me that one of the technicians would arrive between 10 AM and 2 PM, with an effort to make it earlier in the stated time frame with a 30-minute heads-up call. I received that call about 10:10 AM and the technicians arrived about 25 minutes later. I am very pleased with the excellent, efficient, and professional installation that Sean and Eddie provided. They were courteous, knowledgeable, and capable at their jobs. M.E. Flow uses Bradford and White for its supplier, which in my opinion is a good brand and met my needs and expectations. The price was reasonable and within the expected range. No one likes to deal with major appliance failures. But M.E. Flow and its team did a great job taking care of my problem. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking help with water heater problems or looking to replace an old one before it fails. I especially appreciate the great job performed by Sean and Eddie. Moreover, I enjoyed talking with these two gentlemen who were the epitome of professional and friendly. Thanks to them for making a bad situation bearable, if not enjoyable.

The service technicians were excellent - knowledgeable, professional, neat, and had a tremendous work ethic. The technicians worked into the late hours of the day so that they did not leave us without working A/C in the middle of the summer. The sales people are very tuned into the products they offer and are practical with what the customer needs - no overselling, just solid recommendations. The prices are fair and the techs are top notch. If you are putting in an HVAC system that is going to serve you for 10+ years in your home, these are the right guys to install it properly and give you advice on the right product to install. They also have all the right talent in house to get a job done from start to finish - they have excellent carpenters to repair drywall for example. Its a great company of good people doing excellent work.

Did good on the AC fix and repaired our AC

They are very friendly. They have been very responsive. They replaced our whole system and they have come out and do our annual maintenance since then. My only issue was that they wanted me to spend $150 on a filter I can order for $40. My interaction with them was fine. The work was good. I think they are doing fine.

I was notified of the technician's arrival and he arrived promptly, well within the service schedule window. He corrected a vent flow issue I was having, replaced my filter and completed the maintenance check quickly and efficiently. I have had this technician (Henry) handle my system on previous occasions and he is one of the most courteous and pleasant techs I've ever encountered. He answers my questions, points out things that would improve my system and never leaves trash or anything out of place when he is finished with the job. ME Flow is one of the best companies I have dealt with in a long time. I have had them do my HVAC and water heater and would recommend them unconditionally.

The re-build went well but was very involved with about 3 plus hours of work. Some additional parts were ordered to be installed in the future. Water softener operates great for the time being. Not an easy job but they stuck with it to figure out the problem and resolve it.

Very disappointed, since I have a service agreement with this company and thought I would be charged fairly. Technician refused to explain how he came up with the total charge and said I needed to call the office, he's not allowed to break down charges. He said he couldn't use his company iPad to record work, but other technicians have used the iPad here before. Company said they can't explain charges, since he didn't use the iPad and hasn't turned in his work slips. Technician left for an hour saying he needed to get parts. Total time here working on the job was no more than an hour and a half. Before leaving, technician turned main water supply back on and did not bother to bleed air out of the pipes. Will not renew contract or use this company again based on this negative experience. Other plumbers have confirmed that I was overcharged for this type of job.

I called these guys back based on their recommendation that I needed to change capacitor for $110, after doing my annual check. While doing that they busted my AC and said they will charge 2000 to change the compressor. I called another contractor to get a second estimate. This one change my entire unit for almost have that and told me the job ME FLOW did was lousy as all the wires and everything was left loose. These guys also did another unit for me a couple of months back and they put refrigerant into a unit without checking for a leak as I am still using R22 which was for $150 per unit. I will never use ME FLOW again. They are dishonest, expensive and they charge for all kinds of things they should not.

They did great job but they were a little high. They were very punctual, attentive, responsive and high quality work.

Replaced electric water heater with a Hybrid unit. ME Flow was very professional and very careful to provide an excellent installation. They removed the old unit and were very careful to keep our home clean and damage free during the service.

This is the best Air Conditioning company in Va. They are very professional and know their business. They informed me that my existing unit was to large. They were correct, the comfort of air in my house is tremendous thanks to a great install and great equipment provided. In addition very easy to work with. Anyone looking for a new air conditioner would make a good decision by talking with M.E. Flow.

No problems except with our NEST thermastat. Very professional, careful to answer all questions, clearly they were highly trained and knew their profession. Arrived on time and were very neat. Highly recommend

Thanks Dean for the great service call. Dean was very thorough in checking both of our systems. He was up in the attic, down in the basement, and outside in the heat! He gave us very thorough instructions to ensure we were cleaning and replacing filters appropriately. He was very clear about how our systems were performing and what we could do to ensure they stay that way! We appreciated him taking the time not just to check the systems but to review everything very thoroughly with us. We've had very good experiences with ME Flow technicians.

They do a great job. They come a little later in the season than I would like. But, they are honest and professional and I am confident in their service.

ME Flow (Winchester location) has horrible customer service. They give a FOUR hour time window, have horrendous communication amongst each other (even the employees, both customer service reps on the phone and the technicians in your home) agree the company's communication is horrible. The customer service reps will answer the phone as if you're annoying them and will disrespectfully give you attitude if you ask questions. The technicians themselves are generally professional when they come out for problems or routine check-ups on the unit. However, our initial installment was done absolutely wrong, plenty of trash was left in our attic, and our return was not as large as it should have been. Had we not inspected their work ourselves, we would not have known since we do not use our attic for anything other than to store our unit. We complained and they did come out and fix it all, but even the technician who fixed all the mistakes was irritated that our installment was done so poorly. Would absolutely NOT recommend you give them one penny of your hard earned money. Such a joke!
