M E Flow Inc

An M.E. Flow tech came to the house we own in Virginia to do the plumbing inspection covered by our maintenance agreement with the company. Our tenant had noted that a toilet was leaking, so the repair that was made appeared to be warranted; but $174 was, I thought, pretty exorbitant, since the tech was already there and it was a simple repair. But M.E. Flow has ADAMANTLY refused to provide me with a breakdown of what I was charged for: I sent an e-mail (8 May), called the company (20 May - the person I talked to said she would have a breakdown sent), and wrote a letter (22 Jun) asking: with NO response. I consider this clear deceit and deception. How much was the part; was I charged the full rate as if it were a completely separate visit? Don't know, and I SHOULD. I would NEVER deal with this company. They also did a minor repair to our HVAC system on a different visit, and again: no details (cost of the part, labor charge) for the $177 charge. They clearly have NO intention of being upfront with their customers, so: buyer beware, you're not dealing with people who care about their customers. One other note: Just found out where we live that some HVAC/plumbing companies have their service people working ON COMMISSION. Isn't that depressing. We have to worry now about being "uphold" so the tech can get a higher commission. They have a very vested interest in trying to sell their customers as much as they can. Don't know if M.E. Flow does that, but worth asking if you even think about using them Might account for the rating given by the customer below this review..

ME Flow sold us an annual service of HVAC, stating a thorough inspection and routine maintenance. Serviceman probed circuitry just trying to sell additional services. Maintenance was not performed. Stating the servicing would take 1 to 1.5 hours, at sale, serviceman was done in less than 20 minutes. Total rip-off!

Couldn't be happier with M. E Flow for my recent A/C replacement. They sent out a technician (Jeff) the day I called. Unfortunately, the unit was frozen when he arrived. He came back out the very next day to diagnose the problem and gave us several options for repair and replacement. We chose replacement and the comfort advisor (Derek) was out the very next day(Friday) to assess our needs. The unit was installed the following Monday by Chuck and Jimmy who arrived on time and did a professional job. Highly recommend M. E. Flow for your HVAC needs!

We originally hired this company for our spring maintenance. Price is similar to other companies. They were timely in their response to have us schedule for the maintenance. The service guy was very polite and conscientious with his work. While doing his job, he received a call from his company saying he took too long for this service and needed to get moving. He was rushed and stressed to get his job done. He went over everything he felt needed repaired or replaced. I was fine with all that. Next step was to get an estimate of these repairs. That's where this company fell short. They failed to get back with an estimate even after I called many times (and the person on the phone would tell me someone will get back to me - never happened) and emailed. Just poor business operation, unreliable and unprofessional.

The operator was very polite and helpful. We called on Thursday, but they scheduled the visit for Saturday morning. They also thought it was likely a frozen coil, but it would need time to defrost before it could be serviced. They arrived on time on Saturday, and checked the system over. The issue was diagnosed as a slightly dirty filter impeding airflow, combined with low Freon, causing the coil to freeze. The tech checked the system over to make sure nothing had been affected by the coils freezing, then charged up the Freon (we needed a pound). Cost was reasonable, tech was polite and helpful. He also suggested I clean my outdoor condenser coils. They do offer the service, but he suggested I could save a lot of money by doing it myself,. He walked me through the process and suggest where to get the cleaner. We have set up a biannual service contract with them and will continue to use M.E. Flow for all of our Heating & A/C needs.

The plumber was professional and did a really good job. My issue with M.E.Flow isn't with the professionals because they always do a good job. It's with scheduling 4 hour windows and how much they charge. I have been using ME Flow for 16 years and have never had a complaint regarding the people who come to my house. Getting them there can be a challenge. I have a HVAC and a Plumbing Service contract with them and after a discount the charge for having the faucet replaced was $375

I had a hose bib replaced. The job took 15 minutes and cost $364 dollars including my discount for having a plumbing contract with ME Flow. I don't think this is even close to reasonable. The company has great people. The work is always good. The company stands behind the work but the cost...it has gotten out of hand. I have to look for a good handyman!!!

It went great. They came the very next day and showed up on time. We where up and running in no time

The installer did a great job! He was very professional, cleaned the area and thoroughly explained everything to me on how to operate and clean the systems. Would definitely hire again!

Chris Hooberry is the reason we use M.E. Flow. We've been using him for many years and have always had a great service experience.

The technician found the problem quickly, resolved it, performed annual maintenance, and was done. He was very professional, personable, knowledgeable. Highly recommend them.

We have a contract with them. I pay on a yearly basis. He was there about an hour and a half or 2 hours.

It was probably 3 days. The workers were fine, wonderful. Their cleanup and professionalism and how they do their work is why I gave them all A's.

They do show up the day they tell you that they will. ?This gets hard because there is variations of this. ?Let me think about this and talk it out...professionally, they are very good. ? They installed the 2 air conditioners I have because the other 2 burnt out. ?They work way better than the 2 I had before. They've serviced them the whole time, but they've got so busy that they are not nearly as responsive as they used to be. ?You make an appointment and it's 6 weeks before you see them. ?Now, if you have an emergency, they are much faster. ?But for this you schedule so freaking far out. ?Once they get here, everything is supposed to be a 4 hour either morning or afternoon, and they have those guys so busy that if you're the last one, it's not going to make inside the 4 hour window. He's supposed to be here at 4, ?he may not show up until 6, and he's got 2 hours of work when he gets here so he's not leaving until 8. ?That's really not something you factor in when you're planning for that right? ?You expect it to be done inside that 4 hour block but that is not how it is. ?We've used them a long time. They're very expensive but they stand behind their work. ?They will give you a quote before they do it. ?If something goes wrong they will come back and fix it. ?I've never had any grief from them about any of that. They clean up after themselves. They put booties on before they run around the house. ?A very professional outfit, they are just not cheap. ?It would be nice if the time required to schedule did not take so long. ?I think I get a lot for what I pay. ?The guys replace my filters, they go through the whole air conditioner, they do the inside, they do the outside. ?It's pretty thorough. ?They really do a lot of checks.

My hours are varied because I am caregiver to my special needs Step-daughter, and Ann at M.E. Flow Service has bent over backwards to work with my goofy schedule. They are very courteous and arrive when they say they will, and perform any work in a professional manner. Ann even reminded me of the coupon that was available which saved me an additional $30.00! Way to go Ann!

As it turned out we needed a new ac system. Since we had used ME Flow for over 20+ years we were secure that the diagnosis was correct. Greg Horton in sales came that day and gave us our options and estimates. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable. We made our decision and the installment was set for the next day.The team arrived promptly at 7:30 and completed by 2:00. We were shown exactly how to work the new system and given all the paperwork. Always pleased w/this company.

Great from sales to install. Everyone was so nice and the work was done beautifully, including one very long day for the crew who worked late without complaint and showed up the next day bright and early nonetheless. I would highly recommend this company.

Very well - - - everything on schedule and no surprises. A/C system working very well now. Can't comment on the heater since it's now summer. Workers seemed very knowlegable, well-organized and left the work-site neat and clean.

It was 1 person and it only took about 45 minutes. They explained some of the issues with the unit itself.

OK, but written report and invoice took 8 days to receive.
