Description of Work: General lawn maintenance and repair, some light landscaping.

Description of Work: Initial spring cleanup, mowing, weeding and mulching went without a hitch. Was so impressed decided to hire for regular mowing, lawn treatments and weeding. This is when the problem occurred. Workers didn't show up when they were suppose to and when they did show up, weeding wasn't getting done and I was doing weeding I was paying for. Ended up terminating the contract.

Description of Work: Signed a contract for lawn maintenance at 2 locations. The house where I currently live had been vacant for the majority of a year before we moved in and the lawn was probably 75% weeds. I just said fix it and he assured me he knew what to do. On occasion I saw 2 guys (almost kids) show up on a Saturday morning and basically just "run" through as fast as they could. The edging was more of a maceration of the grass around the paved areas, there was always trash here and there throughout the yard left behind, we were definitely nothing more than an afterthought. The rental property I had him taking care of, we just never could tell whether he had shown up or not, the renters have never seen them even once. I was patient, giving it through the summer. When the season started winding down we decided there were definitely more weeds than there were even before he started. So I decided to call him as I had not done since setting up the service. Called a handful of times over 2 weeks, left several messages, never one response. I said I'd like to talk about it, come by, whatever... Nothing. Except, of course, the bills that still come today, for service that was never rendered.

Description of Work: We used Lawnboy last year for mowing and bi-weekly weeding. They also performed spring and fall cleanups for us. We are using them again this year. Their prices are great, especially when you add in the bi-weekly weeding. Dave, the owner, is very easy to get in touch with and very responsive. The crew that comes each week also is very nice and polite. They answer questions when I have any and are very helpful. They once volunteered to dispose of a very large branch that fell so that I didn't have to worry about chopping it up and disposing of it. We are very happy with their service.

Description of Work: They finished the last mowing of the lawn this past month. They do edging and everything else for us. We have been using them for a little over two years. They do the most outstanding retaining wall and patio work you will ever see. They did our patio and retaining walls in the past, and will do one more retaining wall this coming spring.

Description of Work: Dave removed all our existing landscaping in the front yard, drew us a new, more streamlined and modern plan, purchased the plants/trees, pruned existing trees, edged and mulched the trees and flower beds and installed the new landscaping.
