Excellent job! Joey arrived promptly, replaced the broken spring on one door, and we decided to go ahead and replace the (20 year old) spring on the other door too. We also asked him to replace the lifting wires and door rollers at the same time. Both doors work smooth as silk now, and are VERY quiet. Prompt (next day), very professional and friendly service. Would definitely use again.

I LOVE Garage Geeks - I have an older garage door (that's been thru a lot), and these guys have done everything to make it almost purr like a kitten. Of course, it did not act up today when they came out - but I know it will in the future so I'll just call again. I was given tips on the inside button and how to operate it most effectively. Last visit - I was given a new remote as mine was hanging together by a thread. They know what they're doing, are polite, professional, and very responsive. They also haven't tried to sell me a brand new door, when the one I have can still be worked with - which I certainly appreciate with my limited finances. Excellent! Joey came out on May 5th and took measurements, then gave me options for replacement doors (which the company supplies) and we set up an appointment for Thursday, May 12th. He showed up promptly on Thursday morning & worked diligently until the job was done. He did an excellent job, and now I have two brand new garage doors that open & close quietly.

It was actually quite simple, he looked at the problem was able to fix it without any issues. Has recommended changing garage door in the future.

Called Kevin from Garage Door Geeks late in the morning on 03/09/16 and explained to him that our garage door was not working and that one of the springs on the door was broken. I mentioned to him that I saw they received really good reviews via Angie's List and that they had a special for the replacement of 2 springs for $235. Kevin indicated that they were fairly busy schedule wise, but that he could make it out to our home between the hours of 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM if that worked for us. We agreed on that time and he called ahead to let me know he was on his way and he showed up on time as planned. He explained the job to me and answered all of my questions and was very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Kevin quickly installed the 2 new springs and inspected all of the components of the existing door and lubed up the door which made the operation much more quiet and smooth. When he finished, he went over everything he did, as well as made sure to show me that the door was back to operating properly. He left me with his business card as well as a sticker on my garage door opener at my request, in case I ever needed to contact him again. His parts and service is covered by a 5 year warranty, and we are very happy to have a working garage door again. I would highly recommend using Garage Door Geeks!

Our garage door would not open but you could hear the motor turn on when you pushed the garage door opener button. Joey came out and found that a gear was broken (it had been ground down) in the overhead unit. This was caused because the door was too heavy because the spring at the front of the door was no longer doing it's job. The door was contractor grade and built in 2004. The gear in the overhead unit was replaced along with the springs at the front of the door and the wheels on the tracks. After he made the changes, the door could be lifted with three fingers after the release cord was pulled. (Previously you needed to hands and muscles.) The door was so much quieter after the fixes and no longer made the popping an banging noises. Joey was very professional and very knowledgeable and explained the issue with detail. I would highly recommend Garage Door Geeks for all of your garage door repair needs.

My garage door wouldn't come open leaving 2 cars trapped inside. I tried opening it manually but was unsuccessful because it's a pretty heavy door (8'x16'x2"). After doing some research online it turned out to be a broken torsion spring which was obvious when I looked at it & saw it was broke in half. I called the Garage Door Guys about 10 am & spoke with Kevin. He said they could come out that afternoon to fix it. The guy (I didn't get his name) arrived about 4 pm & I would say it took him 30-45 minutes to replace both springs. He also lubricated a bunch of parts & now the door is a lot more quiet. He was very professional & the price was good. I highly recommend them! Thanks!

He came one day and told me what was wrong. He said he could be back the next day which he did. He arrived when he said he woud and finished when he estiimated he would. He did not try to sell me extra stuff I did not need. He was very professional & answered all of my questons.

The worker showed up on time and was polite and professional. He quickly assessed the door and recommended that I purchase a new garage door, since mine was in poor shape, but still functional. We talked about price and I declined at that time to purchase a new door. He then went ahead and lubricated certain parts of the door and then left. Since the Angie's List Deal was supposed to include the following work, so I didn't feel like I got the value I paid for the voucher (since I only got the first two items). Includes 21-point safety inspection Lubricating all moving parts on door and opener Balancing door for proper weight Tightening hinges and making minor adjustments I might replace the door within the next year or two, but it's still working now.

Provider was prompt and efficient. He not only replaced the springs but checked all aspects of the door and performed preventive maintenance (tune-up) on the door itself.

Purchased a Big Deal for inspection and tune-up. I was very impressed. My garage doors which used to shake the house when they moved are now silent. Great job!

I bought the Angie's "deal" for a tune up and inspection of the garage door. The cost was $39 and that included lubricating the mechanism and adjusting the door so that it didn't close as hard against the floor of the garage. The man who did the work was knowledgeable and professional. I was very satisfied with the work that was done and I would hire them in the future.

This is the second time I have used Garage Door Geeks and I was as pleased with this company the second time around. It was simple to schedule the service. Joey arrived promptly and listened carefully to what I told him about the problems with the operation of the door. He inspected the door, diagnosed the problem and replaced the hinges that were making the door bind in the tracks. He never seemed hurried but worked very efficiently. The door is operating perfectly now. I highly recommend this company!

The service went okay. They did not charge me more than the $39 Big Deal. The price was probably fair. They came when they were supposed to.

Did a great job in reviewing and tune up of my garage door. Did adjustments on the tension and tightening on some of the bolts that were loose that were causing intermittent problems.

Kevin did the $39 maintenance sale he had going and then suggested I replace the rollers. He didn't pressure me, but I thought it would be a good idea. The door opens much quieter and smoother now. He was very professional and a pleasure to work with. I will definitely use him again if the need arises in the future and would recommend him to anyone.

It was okay. I just don't know how the $39 related to that. They need to be a little more specific about what they are doing for the big deal rate. I had no problems whatsoever with the plus work they did.

Sunday! Torsion spring snapped! Two cars stuck in garage. Work on Monday! Honestly, at first I called my "usual" provider and got a recording. Even though they said they would call back, it was too vague for me. Panic set in. I called Kevin at Garage Door Geeks and got a LIVE person who answered my questions, calmed my fears, and assured me that a technician would be there. The technician, Joey, showed up when he said he would, and was courteous, professional, and efficient. He took time to explain what he was doing, why it had to be done, and made a lot of sense. In 25 years of living here, I never had someone explain the garage door system as well. The price for weekend service was not over inflated and the communication was excellent. I give huge kudos to a company that answers a phone and follows through in a timely fashion. While all this was happening, the original provider called me and I told them the truth. Garage Door Geeks now has my business.
