Spencer's Safe & Lock

Spencer's never called me back. After not hearing back from Spencer's, I called them the following day, Saturday, 10 November 2012. After telling them of my experience the day before, the woman on the phone verified the details of my previous appointment and after apologizing, took my number (again) and told me that James would be calling me shortly. Again, I never received a phone call. After reading such glowing reviews, I'm appalled at the type of service I received. I will never use their services and will recommend others to find another locksmith.

Not much to say except they were on time, worked quickly, did a great job, and had the best price!

The technician showed up promptly on time and gave me a call about 15 minutes beforehand to let me know he was on his way over. He was very friendly, did the work quickly and took care in removing the doorknob as the walls and door had just been painted. The price was fair and it was a job well done.

We moved into a "new for us" house and wanted to have all the locks rekeyed. We had used Spencers 20 years ago, so called on them again. They scheduled for the next day and called me 30 minutes before my appointment time to say they could come early, if that worked for me. Who comes early?! It was great! The locksmith "did his thing" and made multiple copies of the new keys. We are very happy with the work they did.

Called this company after moving into a new house...to have the locks on all my doors changed. Rich came out and quickly re-keyed all the locks. He also fixed 2 doors that I was having problems in opening (at no extra charge). I was very happy with the service, and would use Spencer's Safe & Lock again.

I needed to get my door locks rekeyed and looked to Angie's List for recommendations. I found Spencer's Safe and Lock. Seeing that they had been highly rated by others, I decided to call. They were able to fit me in the next day. The tech called before coming over (as they told me he would), and arrived well within the allotted window for the service call. He was professional and friendly. He also got the job done quickly. I would highly recommend this company to any of my friends/co-workers needing locksmith services.

I went to the store location and was assisted in finding the right lock solution for my needs. He provided me the information on different options and recommendations. I made my selections and the order was written up (to include an Angie's List 10% discount). A couple of items had to be ordered, but the installation was still able to be scheduled less than a week later. On the date of installation, Rich arrived on time. He was professional and friendly. He installed the items purchased, and even was able to adjust the front door so that it was a better fit and locked smoothly. I would not hesitate to use Spencer's again.

This company was great! We had a problem at the closing and needed to change the time and day for our appoint and they wroked with us and were able to meet us the next day. I was impressed with the level of professionalism and customer service! I would recommed this company.

Great service. Easy to make appointment at the time I wanted, the locksmith showed up during the scheduled window, during which we did a walkthrough of the property and he explained what he would do. He then re-keyed all of the locks and made new keys for me right in his van. I used a coupon from Angie's List and saved extra money.

Acidentally locked myself out of the house one morning before work. One quick call to Spencers and I was back in the house and off to work within about an hour of placing a 9AM call. The locksmith even tightened up a loose doorknob before leaving!

They were on time and knowledgeable. They had the part on hand. They did the job in about twenty minutes.

I have used them once before and they always have the best price. I didn’t have any problems afterwards, expect for the keys. One can’t always get matching keys but they gave me keys with their locks which is supposed to be the best.

They were unusual keys, and they went out of their way to make it work. The experience with them was very good. We were very pleased. They were willing to cooperate. They knew what we needed. The price was certainly good.

We got them from Angieslist. They were excellent. We were pleased with their service. We would use them again.

called a day or so earlier, made appointment - got through on first call (no wait time, no voice mail) appt was for approx 10-11 am, which I asked for, and liked that it was a small window of waiting around technician arrived promptly at 10 am! Great! technician and his padawan were friendly, efficient and fast. 15 minutes, all done. No muss, no fuss, no bother.

They are very courteous and fast working.

I called twice, getting an answering service both times. I never got a return call. I still haven't gotten a call back and it is a week later. I obviously have already called someone else to do the work but returning phone calls is pretty important. It may be that the answering service didn't get the information to the company, but as a potential customer all I know is that I got ignored, the details just don't matter to me.

Spencers were professional, punctual, and a great price. They were running late do to traffic and they called to ensure they were on their way. They finished the job in minutes without error.

I called on a Friday afternoon before the 4th of July holiday. They came the same day, within an hour. I thought they were just coming to give an estimate but he was able to fix in just a few minutes. Service was incredibly fast and courteous. Price was great. I was extremely pleased.
