They were pretty efficient. They came in, did what I asked them to do, and did some extra work. They were a little bit expensive, but their work was good. I wanted the repairs to be done right the first time, so I used them.

They were late to work, brought the wrong unit and took a very long time to finish the work which was not done correctly. The plumbers were not very knowledgeable and I would not recommend them to anyone.

Most of the guys that work for them are the old time country people. They are very knowledgeable and they are very able when it comes to finding out the problem.

We called a week ahead to schedule. The called us the morning of the appointment to let us know a time window of when to expect them. They were on time and very professional. We have used them before and will use them again.

I arranged with H&S on Wednesday for a visit on Thursday. Irvin was very professional and finished the job well under the time quoted. He also fixed a toilet and advised about a spigot.

I wanted to replace my kitchen faucet so I went and bought a new one. I called H & S and asked to sent up and appointment for someone to install my faucet. They sent someone immediately. The serviceman arrived within 10 minutes and he removed my existing faucet and installed my new faucet and hand soap dispenser. He cleaned up the work area nicely before he left. The entire transaction took less than an hour from the time I picked up the phone to call them.

They couldn't have been better. Very easy to work with. Came exactly when they said they would. The whole thing was a great success.

They came out the day after I called and replaced the supply tube, supply valve, and ballcock. The repairman was on time and very professional.

Technician arrived on time and diagnosed the problem. Snaked toilet to remove blockages and calcium deposits which had built up over time. He gave honest advice and suggested that the toilet be replaced rather than trying to fix the various mechanical components indicating that it would probably be cheaper to do so. Cleaned up the area before leaving and had the toilet working again.

We had first attempted a repair of the leak ourselves with the replacement of a corroded trap pipe. However, a second source of the leak was then discovered: a seam connecting the trap with the main waste water pipe. This latter repair was beyond our ability to handle. Plumber fixed problem with installation of a new seal and then made the other corrections as noted to improve the flow of waste water. Plumber was very efficient, courteous, and friendly at all times explaining in detail the nature of his work.

I was so impressed with Ronnie, the plumber that came out to do our job. He replaced the spray hose with no trouble. He also checked some other things that I wanted to have done. He gave me advice on future jobs and told us things that we could work on to maintain our pipes. He took the time to answer our questions.

Their prices are fair. They are kind of hard to get an appointment with, I don't know if it is because they're so popular or if it is becuase they don't have many plumbers. The people they send out seem to be very knowledgeable.

They do a very good job. They are family owned. They are local. I highly recommend them and will use them again.

We had bought a new faucet prior to H & S coming in just in case they needed to replace it, but they ended up just being able to fix the existing one that we had. It's really hard to get appointments with them, but once we finally got our appointment set they came as planned. They were there within the time that they said they would be there, and they had the work done in no time.

I like that they seem to know what they are doing. The price is better, as plumbers go. If they sell you parts, they seem to be high priced. I try to have the parts I need on hand.

I was very impressed with them. They were on time and hard working. They are very easy to work with and the price was reasonable as well. The service was done correctly as well. There were no problems and I was thrilled with the work they did.

I would give H & S Plumbing a high recommendation. I have used them for years. I got the appointment quickly. It took about 20 minutes for the work to be completed and the new faucet looks wonderful.

After what they said, we called someone who is a friend of the family that fixed it in fifteen minutes! What I think about H&S is that they can replace, but not repair things. At least we did not pay to have them replaced and we solved the problem anyways.

They charged me the first but the problem was not repaired. They came out the second time and were still not able to repair it. They tried to charge me but I wouldn't pay it because the commode was not repaired. I kept calling them and they didn't call back. I would not recommend them, they didn't seem to know what they were doing.

This was advanced plumbing. H & S is expensive but worth the price for anything complicated. I had rental property for thirty years and used them frequently, but chose someone else for simple jobs like replacing a toilet or faucet (or did them myself;sometimes it is easier than waiting for a plumber). Just one caution: Herndon was a small country town not that many years ago and H & S still operates that way. Estimates, quotes and paperwork are rough and informal. A lot is done on trust and a handshake which really bothers some city people.

They rent out plumbing tools and they sell plumbing supplies. If you walk in with a small problem, they don't act like you're wasting their time. Go in, tell them what you need, and they usually have it. It's great for do-it-yourself people. If they have it, they'll sell it to you. Highly recommended.

I HAVE HAD THIS COMPANY OUT THREE DIFFERENT TIMES TO FIX MY LEAKING TOILET TANKS IN 3 BATHROOMS. THEY CAN'T SEEM TO SEE THE WATER DRIPPING DOWN FROM MY CEILING. I FINALLY TOLD THEM NEVER TO COME BACK, I AM PLANNING ON HIRING SOMEONE ELSE.

I THOUGHT THEY WERE A GOOD COMPANY. THE WORK WAS COMPLETED IN A TIMELY MANNER. THE PLUMBER WAS CLEAN AND POLITE. HE WAS INFORMATIVE AND EXPLAINED WHAT WE NEEDED TO DO TO PREVENT A FUTURE PROBLEM.

THE COMPANY IS VERY GOOD AND THEY COME TO THE HOUSE IN A PROMPT TIME WHEN CALLED. I THINK THE WORK THEY DO IS VERY GOOD AND I GET A QUALITY JOB FOR THE SERVICES I HAVE RECEIVED.
