I called H&S and was told I would receive a return phone call when availability of a plumber was determined. No call came that day so I made other arrangements the second day. Late the second day a call came from H&S and the caller said he couldn't remember whether he was supposed to call me or I was going to call him back.

H&S Plumbing arrived promptly and explained what needed to be done. They needed to cut through my drywall to access the pipe and replace the broken piece.

Explained that I had a burst pipe and water was flying out of my wall at an alarming speed. He had someone at my home within 30 minutes. The person was able to fix the problem immediately, replaced a broken pipe from being frozen, and was out of here in less than an hour. I've used H&S Plumbing for a problem faucet in another property within the past year and they were equally as awesome! Always courteous, quick, don't waste your time by talking too much, they are in and out and get the job done RIGHT THE FIRST TIME!!! Was so happy I had them work on a second property for what could have been MAJOR water problems and they fixed everything and suggested not replacing numerous parts for the scenario. Very honest, no fuss no muss professional opinions and service. These guys are out of this world!!! By the way, when I called for my guys at H&S Plumbing, the phone rang and rang which was unusual. It was an emergency situation so I hopped on Angies list to find the number one rated plumber in the area. I called the number one rated plumber on Angie's list and they were not remotely interested in sending anyone to see me for nearly 4 hours. I explained three times the scenario and it didn't matter. It was Thursday, garage was flooding and they asked me, "hows Monday sound." I'm sticking with these old fashioned plumber guys who have seen it all and can fix anything and aren't just there to keep sending the same people back over and over again.

Quick and efficient in removing old leaking valve and installing new. Performed in less than 30 minutes which are included in the cost of a service call at $140. Gave good advice on other problems/projects.

For some years we have been having problems with our Grohe kitchen faucet, which was leaking. Others were unable to fix it satisfactorily. The repairman struggled for more than an hour, even calling Grohe. He replaced a corroded hose and internal parts. He did the best job of any of the past 4 plumbers we have had work on this kitchen faucet. We also had a plugged bathtub drain, which we had worked for more than an hour on. He was able to get it cleaned out, and we are delighted.

They were very nice, efficient, and clean. They cleaned everything up.

The phone call I had with the company they told me I may just need a washer. When the guy came out he said she just needed the washer and put one in which would have cost 25 cents, but they charged me 140.00 just to put the washer in.

They were better than expected. Lots of small repairs done in short amount of time. They were fair priced. I will definitely use them again. I will have all our future work done with them. They are our go-to plumber for all our plumbing needs.

I liked the fact that they gave me an estimate with a range that if I do something then it would cost me $400.00 otherwise it would be costing me $175.00. I went with the low end and mine came up to $235.00 which was great because they could have charged me $475.00 and I wouldn’t have known anything. They were honest. I called them on a Saturday afternoon and informed them that the house was not flooding or anything so they told me that they didn’t have anyone right then and would be sending someone first thing on Monday morning. They were in and out of house in less than 15 minutes. They replaced the valve and since it was not much work as they had thought they just charged me $235.00.

I was so relieved to see two "veterans" at the door after finishing up with electricians who were much younger. It was a pleasure to see them work, in that they had the instincts , judgement, and skills that only come with many years in the field. The path for the new water line for the ice maker was a tough one, but they stuck with it ,and pulled it through nicely. It really was a perfect job, and given all that was done, a good deal, in my opinion.

H&S has always been responsive, professional and provided quality service. Their repairs are cost effective and it is always fixed right the first time. I highly recommend their services.

The provider was contracted to verify that our sump pump was working correctly because the home inspector that inspected our house for the sale of our home said the pump was not working. The home inspector indicated that there was no check valve installed. The buyers demanded that the functionality of the pump be verified by a licensed plumber. The plumber came out and installed a check valve without verifying if one was already installed. There was one installed because I personally installed it myself several months ago. The valve was behind a piece of tacked in paneling 2 inches above where he installed the new valve. I was not present for the work performed, my wife was. He also informed my wife that the pump I installed was not very good. I installed the pump several months ago which was the same pump that was being replaced which lasted 27 years. Guess that pump was crap also. I examined the work this evening and the original check valve was leaking and I agree should have been replaced. He charged us double of what the part would cost in a store and the labor charges were completely out of line for the service performed. Their rate works out to be 240.00 dollars per hour. I would never use this contractor again. It's wrong to take advantage of someone who has been put in a position to use a licensed contractor for work they could easily do theirselves. In the future, the plumber should inspect everything thoroughly before throwing parts at something. He should also keep his opinions to himself about how prior work was performed or the quality of parts used.

What a great job. After they had completed the wall mount brace for both sinks I realized it was too low. They reworked the entire job (adding an additional hour) but didn't charge me more than the quoted price.

I had a leaky outdoor spigot. And the stop valve inside the house was not completely shutting of the flow of water to the outside spigot. I had earlier called a different plumber to give an estimate for the repair. That plumber, who I know to be a decent plumber based on other work he had done for me, seemed to think it would be difficult to put on a new spigot because of the siding and because the previous plumber had not left much water piper to work with to solder it to. He never got back to me. So I went to Angie's List and decided on H&S based on the reviews. I called H&S on a Monday, and the visit was scheduled for the next day. The H&S plumber arrived on time, was very personable, and seemed very honest. After he sized up the situation, he went to work and installed the new spigot without any problems. He also did the repair on the indoor stop valve. The work appears to have been done very professionally. The quality of the spigot that was installed looks very good compared to the one that was replaced. And he showed me the where the old faucet had the leak, presumably because of water freezing in it due to the leaky indoor stop. This will be my "go-to" plumber going forward. This was one relatively small job, but it was done well, the plumber seemed very professional and honest, and the price was reasonable (not sure if it is an A or not, but gave the benefit of the doubt).

They came the same day I called within the two hour window promised. The work was done quickly and professionally. The price of $137.00 for two valves is excellent considering I paid another company $168.00 to install ONE valve! These guys are great!

Took only about 10 minutes.I used them previously to install a garbage disposal and to fix a tub link.

Same day service. Arrived within specified time frame. Pulled out old faucet, polished the stainless steel before putting in the new faucet and sprayer. All went smoothly. Since they charge by time, not the job, we got Gary to take a look at a couple of other potential issues on bathroom sinks. We purchased the new faucet. When I made the appointment, the guy on the phone gave me some information regarding the purchase of a new faucet. Newer ones are made of plastic, not brass in response to some new federal law that goes into effect around the first of the year. Will definitely use again.

I have used H&S for both parts purchases and in-home work for over 20 years. This time was no different. Arrival on time. Very professional and detailed in service. Work completed in a reasonable amount of time with great care in making sure everything works and job site is clean when work is completed. The crew at the counter is always courteous and informative when I an ordering parts to do the job myself. When I don't know what I need, they identify the correct part and I'm on my way.

We are always able to get a quick turn around appointment from H&S Plumbing. The same plumber is usually sent out to the house. He arrives on time and performs the service efficiently. The quality of work is always good. I will always call them first for any plumbing needs in my house.
