Description of Work: We used a "Big Seal" for 1 hour of computer service. Betsy, the owner, cleaned up our slow laptop computer, installed a new browser, discussed solutions to our networking issues, and tried to address some old printer issues. We are currently following up with her on the networking solution at an additional charge. It was wonderful to have someone come to the house and see the whole picture rather than just taking the laptop to a store technician.

She was able to cover all of the 'bits and pieces' of fix, access, etc. that I had on my list during the visit - and left me prepared to more effectively do backups and other routine tasks. Good work, good recommendations, overall excellent.
Description of Work: Set up access to zip disks, corrected/cleaned up login on main computer, backed up files off of old computer, removed hard disk so that it can be donated, assured that old CRM data files were accessible on network, recommended security measures.

 + -1 moreMy computer had become extremely slow and finally would not turn on at all. Betsy came to my home, patiently listened, and finally sat down and thoroughly reviewed the problem. She determined that she would need to perform additional analysis at her house, installed hardware at a discount, and quickly returned my laptop. My 5 year old laptop is like new.
Description of Work: Betsy Salomonsky is prompt, personable, efficient and affordable. I would utilize her services again.

 + -1 moreAfter consulting Angies List, I called Betsy wih Sky Computer Solutions on Friday, 3/1/13. She could not work me in immediately but agreed to come at noon on Monday which was OK with me siince I would be out of town over the weekend. On Monday, she called twice to update me on the arrival time as she had gotten delayed on the previous appointment and was running late. When she arrived, she immediately went to work and very quickly resolved the computers problems. I did not have a virus but she was able to delete a lot of unwanted downloads that had worked there way on to my computer and soon had the computer up to it's original speednd performance. The next day, Betsy called again to check to see if everything was working properly. When I mentioned another problem, she suggested that we could join our computers and she could probably fix it on line, which we did and it was fixed. This was the first time that I have used Sky Computer Solutions but it will certainly not be the last. I cannot think of any negatives for Betsy or Sky Computer Solutions as she was very professional and knowledgeable.
Description of Work: My computer had been running slow and acting wierdly.I thought that I could have a virus on the computer and I needed help.

 + -1 moreBetsy has been our IT support since 2000. She drives 45 minutes to see us and is always prepared for anything. She spent 3 hours correcting any and all of our problems and made sure we had no other issues to address before she left. She had to order a part and will return next week with that, a battery for the laptop. At times she's provided phone support if she can't get to us immediately, since we are so far away from her.
Description of Work: Our company laptop was not able to connect wirelessly to our Internet. Betsy quickly discovered the wrong password was being used and corrected this. She performed cleaning of our other 2 PC's and made them run better. We need to change our e-mail addresses, so she suggested to use our domain, which we already own, and setup e-mail addresses there.

 + 0 moreBetsy got me set up with my first laptop in 2006 and has been my computer technician ever since. My laptop is still going strong today, but I had Betsy build me a new one for my Fiance. I have seen many friends deal with problem computers, and most have gone through multiple computers in the time I have had one. My computer lasted because Betsy took care of it, and she taught me how to maintain it. She didn't just set it up for me, but she made sure I knew how to keep it running properly. Betsy is always available and does excellent work. I have yet to have a problem that Betsy could not fix. She is always very personable and professional. I highly recommend her to anyone who is in need of computer repair.
Description of Work: This most recent service Betsy backed up all of my data to an external hard drive, set up my new laptop, and transferred all of my data over for me. She also installed my wireless printer, wireless network, and installed viper antivirus for me.
