Description of Work: Servicesd our AC units but misdiagnosed an issue with one of them and billed us an additional 850 for an unnecessary part that did not fix the issue. We subsequently had to hire another company. Poor customer service throughout the experience to boot! Won't be using them again.

Description of Work: Friday night we got back from work and heard water gushing. Turned out our main pipe under the house had burst. Called Gurkin at 5pm and they said they'd just sent home last technician, but to call Fire Dept and have them turn off water at the street. We called and they did it promptly (Yay Henrico Fire Dept!). Next day Gurkin came first thing and fixed the problem. Always find them to be nice, professional, helpful, and responsive.

Description of Work: The two employees were punctual, competent, and professional. The job was to replace a water line which had ruptured during the winter cold snap. We were so pleased with their performance that we had them return yesterday to replace a broken faucet in our kitchen; once again we were completely satisfied with the result. We plan to use Guirkin for any future plumbing needs.

Description of Work: Called because our gas fireplace wasn't working. They determined that the switch on the wall wasn't working but would be too complicated to re-wire and would have to tear down a lot of drywall Recommended we consider re-wiring a remote control starter in the grill area. We did and were happy except we did have a lot of trouble getting the remote to work. All and all we were happy with their work and if we hadn't moved out of town would use them again
