Guirkin Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning Company, LLC originated in 1976. We have been servicing Central Virginia's residential plumbing, heating and cooling needs for over forty years now! We have a reputation of fast service and usually respond to your call within four to eight hours with the job being completed. When you call our office you will have a nice conversation with Tommy, Linda, or Kristin about your problem. There will be no long waits. We believe in honest, reliable service and fair pricing. Our goal is to create longstanding customer relationships. Guirkin is a member in good standing with the Better Business Bureau and Angie's List. Our work is guaranteed for one year unless otherwise specified. The Class A Contractors License number is 2705-047830A, and the classifications are: LPG, NGF, PLB, HVAC, and GFC. Our service technicians are crossed trained to handle plumbing, HVAC and gas. We even have a technician on call on the weekends for emergencies. Description of Work: It was my fault. I was in a big hurry and didn't do proper research. They installed new gas logs, and told me the new logs would put out a lot more heat than our old ones. This has not proven to be the case. I'm disappointed but I should have been more careful.

Description of Work: Guirkin came to replace aerators and filters on most sinks in my house due to a Henrico County issue in repairing pipes in our cul-de-sac. The repair person was physically dirty, left dirt and prints throughout the house. We still had problems - same repair person was dispatched two more times to our home with the same experience - it was horrible. Called another service provider to come mitigate the problem.

Description of Work: Other than a bit of trouble getting scheduled, Guirkin did a fine job. The tech. was very cordial and professional. I had a leaking cut off valve on the supply line to my dishwasher that was replaced-then I found out it had been leaking some time and the kitchen floor wads damaged. I took the plumber's advice and called my homeowner's insurance company-but that's another story. I would call Guirkin again if the need ever arises. Thanks.

Description of Work: They were great except that they didn't explain that the new gas firelogs would not offer the same degree of remote control that the old one did. For example, I could control the height of the flame before. The new remote is only on/off.
