Rick was able to quickly get me on their schedule and arrived on time. I had 27 windows that hadn't been cleaned on the outside for years and were in pretty bad shape. All windows, skylights, and doors were cleaned beautifully! Everythng was diligently cleaned, corner to corner and all work was completed in less than 3 hours! Even all the dog slobber on patio doors! Very efficient and a pleasure to work with! I will happily recommend them to others and will be calling them again in the Spring!! Fabulous. Delivered exactly what was promised in a courteous, professional manner - showed up on time, worked as a team and quite hard for the duration, had all equipment including ladders and cleaning material needed along with them, reviewed work with customer throughout the process, and completed work within 3 hours. The difference in the windows on this new home was clearly evident - superb. We highly recommend this firm and plan on continuing to use them in the future.

They did just fine. They were very thorough. They left everything in a good shape and they did a good job. I thought the price was high but I didn't get a second quote.

He came out and was able to do the work right away. He had 5 young people with him who all were very nice and hard working.

Rick was prompt, arriving at 8:30 as scheduled. He immediately got to work with his crew, doing the inside of the house before moving outside to complete the job. They were constantly working, and the total job took 5 1/2 hours. He double checked that all windows and doors had been done. Great job. Will definitely use them again.

I needed a thorough,cleaning for my many windows on a two story house to prepare for installation of storm windows. The second story windows are hard to reach because of the shape of the house and the narrow side space. The good people at Old House Authority recommended this business to me. Owner Ric Ely responded quickly and went out of his way to come sooner than would be expected since I wasn?t able to prearrange the cleaning, before installing the storm windows. The work was done quickly but thoroughly. He even came back to check on what we thought was a problem which was instead our mistake. I have since discovered they also do gutter cleaning, pressure washing, blind cleaning and even chandelier cleaning. Great. Mr. Ely did wonderful work, went out of his way twice to give the best service in the nicest way and at a very fair price. Use him for A Brighter Outlook!

I'd called to schedule window cleaning several weeks prior and was told I'd get a call back to schedule a date. Approximately two weeks passed before I got a call. It was a Tuesday and I was told that they were able to come to the house that afternoon and would start, finishing the following morning. I didn't have time to arrange for anyone to be home, so they arrived and started on the outside. Once someone arrived, they did the inside. They actually finished that same day. This is the 3rd or 4th time I've used this company. Normally, they do a much better job of scheduling. The quality of the work wasn't up to par, either. I have a very large picture window over my front door. When the sun comes in during the morning hours, you can see where they didn't get the corners or edges clean at all. Most of the rest of the windows in the house, however, look fine. Price went up this time. $313 versus $289 the last time. No one bothered to tell me there was a price increase. Since they were showing up unannounced, I'd told the guy that I would pay him the next day (Wed) when they came back to finish. Since they finished in one day, he left an invoice. I sent them a check via home banking, but the guy called me on Friday looking for his money.

Rick was very professional. He called me right away and came out to give me an estimate. We decided on a date. He called the day before and "checked in", said what time they would be here the next day. They arrived on time, were quick but thorough, and very pleasant. I was very pleased with the job they did as we hadn't cleaned one window since we moved in 3 years ago (I'm embarrassed to say)! They look brand new. I would call them again and probably will. Maybe I won't wait for three years this time!

Mr. Ely and his team did an EXCELLENT job once again. All windows, skylights, and chandeliers were bright and perfectly clean by the time they were done. My realtor had said that we should not put the screens back in the windows while showing the house, so Mr. Ely and his team cleaned the screens as well, labeled them with their original locations, and placed them neatly in the garage. They were very accommodating in every way. I needed them to work around some painters who were here painting the interior of the house at the time, and I needed them to work with me on managing the dog and her placement in the house while they were here. They had no problem doing all that. They did another thing that I did not expect at all. Knowing that I was staging the house to show, Mr. Ely asked if I needed help from his team to move some furniture for them. I did not ask them to do it; they offered!! They did move several pieces to the garage for me, and I was most grateful for that. If you want a team that will do excellent work for you, will accommodate your needs, and will be totally friendly and trustworthy, I strongly recommend Mr. Ely and A Brighter Outlook Window Cleaning, LLC.

A Brighter Outlook was great to work with from start to finish. Rick did a nice job of communicating with us. We had an event planned for May 3 and ABO worked hard to get it finished even though the weather wasn't very cooperative. Everything was done to our satisfaction and looks great. We will definitely use ABO again.

They did a great job. The individual that came was super friendly and accommodating to our schedule.

I was trying to fit the window cleaning in before Thanksgiving and Rick was so kind to work us in. Rick and his wife are so personable. They went out of their way to accommodate our needs. The young man they sent out was polite and such a hard worker. We highly recommend this company.

They did a great job. However, it was $100 more than I paid in the past. The previous person cleaned my windows for years and I always expected him to raise his rates and he never did. So maybe the extra cost was what I should have paid all along! The new guy got the date confused but when I called him he adjusted and came right over. It worked out extremely well.

The young man showed up on time and did a very nice job. He was also very polite. In addition to the windows, he used a brush to clean some screens for me. We will definitely have him back in the spring. I can happily recommend this company. Mary Lynn Ashland, Va.

Excellent service all around. Rick and Tyler were punctual, hard-working, and tidy. They scraped and cleaned off several years of neglect (meaning dirt and pollen) from the skylights, leaving them so sparkly clean that you'd swear they'd removed the glass. A couple of the windows they worked on were so cloudy that I assumed that the thermal seals were broken. Nope - they were just cloudy with dirt, and are now clear as new. It's a nice sunny day today and it's really delightful to have clean windows. It's like when you wash your reading glasses. Wow!
