Response from Precious Pets Transport
We are sorry you were not happy with the service. Knowing peoples pets are family members we make every effort and attempt to please everyone. Unfortunately we are human and come up short in some cases. Your pickup was scheduled for Aug 31-Sept 2nd 2013. Yes, Dan did pickup on the 3rd. It was a holiday weekend. Traveling anywhere in the country these days on a holiday weekend is a nightmare. Jill and I try very hard to get the timing window right on every transport. This trip was already set, you originally wanted pickup on the 29th but we had other clients that had booked ahead. To make the trip start on the 29th would have meant we had to move all the other clients dates. The sitter and you were informed that Dan would indeed be late. We make it a point to communicate with clients to let them know if something is wrong. As far as your dog being traumatized, we are truly sorry to hear this. Every attempt is made to make a pet comfortable. Your notes did say your German Shepard had hip displysia, needed frequent bathroom breaks, and nervous tail chewer. Dan's recollection was all of your pets had a comfortable, non eventful ride. He had difficulty with a different pet on the ride. According to the sign form: Pickup was on Sept 3rd, in CA, delivery on Sept 6th, in FL. On a shared ride. Again we are sorry for your unhappiness with our service. Unfortunately we are not sure what more we could have done under the circumstances. Linda Allison Jill White
