Precious Pets Transport

AMAZING!!! They were right on time for departure and arrival. A couple came in this HUGE Mercedes Benz van, no windows so people can't see pets inside. She had a crate that she could stand up in. I sent her food along. The dogs and cats and even a bird in the van were all comfortable and had plenty of room. I heard from them every day, telling me how Ella was doing, where they were, that she was eating, and was comfortable. Half way to California, she was the only dog left in the van, so they let her out of the crate and she drove while sitting on a bench seat. When they met my daughter, Ella was happy, bounded out, and all was well. I can't say enough good things about this company. They are TOP CLASS all the way. I heard from them at least twice a day. They were a retired couple and this is what they enjoy doing ... Ella enjoyed it too!

It went very well. Due to a specific schedule they were able to make sure the cat was picked up by a certain date. We were told it could take 4-6 days for the trip. However, she made it here in just 2 days!! We were so happy she did not have to travel any longer as she would be stressed enough just having to leave her home for a new one. Dan was great on both ends of the trip. He was able to get the cat in a crate and said she did well on the trip. She came here looking healthy. Of course she is nervous, as is expected with this dramatic a move for her. Everyone was very accommodating and professional.

Very well! Considering how hard it is to move pets and how traumatic it can be for them, I don't think it could have gone any better. We had great communication and a very helpful, competent and friendly driver, Beate, pick up our pets. She took excellent care of them and gave us updates along the way. She arrived sooner than expected which was great! If you want to move your pets, this is a very helpful service, I highly recommend them!

Precious Pets Transport Service arrived on time at my home in NJ.  They were absolutely amazing helping us capture one cat, then loaded all 3 for a private ride to NC.   They also took some extra cat liter and food for me.
My pets arrived the next day, happy and healthy!!  Everything went very well.  I would hire them again without hesitation!!

Everything went better than planned, pets arrived 2 days earlier than expected and all were in good health.

It went great. The mover was the most patient person I've ever met.

I adopted a three legged, older disabled dog who was living in circumstances that were not the best many states away.  She did not fly well and after research, I decided to use Precious Pet Transport.  They were wonderful!  The trip was h****** my poor old dog but the driver went above and beyond to make her comfortable and comfort her.  The driver was in regular contact with me and wanted updates on my dog after she was delivered to me.  I am happy to say that my dog, Sophie, is much better, is getting physical therapy and is now a happy wiggly dog despite her disability.  I am very pleased with the care an compassion shown by Precious Pet Transport for my sweet old dog.

On the death of my mother, we had to arrange the transport of her miniature dachshund Tawny from California to Maryland on short notice.  Our original plan was to carry Tawny as carry-on luggage on a non-stop flight but she would not tolerate the carrying bag nor having to sit on the floor.  Precious Pets staff were very helpful, responded quickly with an accurate price quotation (over a weekend) and able to coordinate Tawny's pickup from the Vet in California where she was being boarded within one week for delivery to Maryland in 5-7 days.  Tawny was picked up on schedule, our driver Linda was very friendly and clearly cared about making Tawny comfortable when we called her each day for a progress report on the trip, and Tawny was delivered in excellent shape in only the 5 days (Thursday evening to Tuesday evening).  Tawny is clearly happy in her new home with us and with her new brother Lucky.   We were very pleased with the service provided by Precious Pets and would not hesitate to use them again were that ever necessary.

I'm a US Marine currently stationed far from home. I recently found out that I had to relocate my perfectly adorable cat Dinah from her temporary foster home in Philadelphia to a new residence in Connecticut. After reading some horror stories about airlines loosing cats/ mistreating pets in tranist, I decided to look into other options. After finding Precious Pets online, I contacted them for a quote. Their response was immediate and thorough. Customer service was great, they were very understanding of my situation and made me feel confident that everything was under control. When the weekend came for her pickup, Dinah's foster mom contacted me to say the driver had picked her up in the evening and would be delivering her to Connecicut the following day. I gave Dan, the driver a call. He didn't pick up at first but returned my call very promptly. He assured me that all was well and gave me a time frame that he'd be dropping her off. He also promised to call the family member whose house she was going to as he got closer. A few short hours later and I got a call that Dinah was safe and sound, exploring her new digs and purring like crazy. 
I can't tell you how happy I am that I found Precious Pets. Being a pet parent in the military can be stressful since we handle everything long distance. Precious Pets gave me peace of mind that my Dinah was well taken care of, and made everything easy for myself and the other two people involved. Highly recommend, and would use again in a second!

All went fine. The driver dropped then off at the specified vets for boarding. TThey kept me informed as to there and aririval.Didn't see them for a few days as we arrived after them. but they seemed fine and in good health. would certainly use them again.

I recently used Precious Pets Transport Services to transport a family pet from California to Alabama. While not warm, the customer service seemed professional. We were told that the trip would take from 4-6 days. Their policies clearly state that extra items cannot be transported with the pet. I provided 7 days worth of food and our dog's leash/collar. On the day of the pick-up, we were assured that we would be given daily updates on the trip's progress. The van seemed small and cramped, but I suppose that's what can be expected. The driver informed us that he would be taking a route from California through Colorado, Minnesota, Milwaukee, New York, New Jersey then down to Alabama. The driver assured us that the trip would safely take 4-6 days. This seemed like a long route to take, but they are the professionals. I trusted their expertise. The first two days went well. The driver contacted the receiving party daily to give updates on the trip. After that, no more contacts without us having to reach out for updates. It ended up taking 8 days for our pet to arrive in Alabama. No reason was given as to why it took so long. No apologies. Luckily, I sent our dog with enough food for 7 days. He didn't eat well during the transport (not unexpected) and arrived in Alabama with 1.5 days worth of food still in the ziplock bags I had prepared. Upon drop-off, the driver refused to leave my pet's health certificate with him. This seemed odd to me. The health certificate is valid for 30 days and belongs to the individual pet(s) it certifies. 
I waited two days for them to contact me regarding the prolonged travel time or even to say a simple 'thank you for your business'. Nothing. During those two days, I reached out to the USDA, the government agency that regulates interstate transport of live animals. The USDA agent stated in an email that "The health certificate should accompany the animal. This document is generally purchased by the owner, as such you should have a copy or the original. Please contact your pet transport company and request your certificate or a copy." 
I wrote Precious Pets Transport Service after two days. I expressed my concern that my pet's transport took 125-200% the agreed upon without any explanation provided. Linda apologized for the prolonged travel time and cited weather as the cause for the delay. She also confirmed my suspicion that the route taken was altered from the original route planned when I booked my transport. She stated that the health certificate would not be returned. 
I wrote back requesting the health certificate and forwarded the email from the USDA assuring that the health certificate should stay with the animal being transported. Jill wrote back this time. Jill was simply unapologetic and blankly refuted the information provided by the USDA agent. She refused to return the original document I purchased and offered to send me a copy. Fine. 
In recap, they are a business and seem to be motivated by the same that motivates a majority of the businesses these days- MONEY. They changed my pet's route to include more stops and more opportunities to make money at the detriment of my pet's comfort. The trip took 125-200% the time advertised and contractually agreed upon. Their communication skills are lacking. Had they informed me or the receiving party that bad weather was slowing them down, we would have been expecting the prolonged travel time and at least aware of the issue. 
At no point did I express an interest in a refund. I will not use Precious Pet Transportation Services again nor will I recommend their services.

When my daughter recently moved from Jacksonville, FL to the
Boston, MA area, I recommended she contact Precious Pets Transport, LLC for her
two cats. The idea of driving with the cats, in cars packed with enough
belongings to last until the household goods were delivered, was daunting,
especially since one of the cats was known for vomiting or defecating on a
simple trip to the vets. She was ultimately convinced to use Precious Pets,
although worried about entrusting ?family? to strangers, and it turned out to
be the high point of an otherwise very difficult move. My daughter was given
the driver?s (Cindy) cell phone, and made arrangement for her cats to be picked
up at their boarding facility. She was contacted with a window of time for both
pickup and delivery, and contacted for confirmation when pickup occurred. Her
vet provided a light sedative to help both cats with the trip. I was present
when the cats arrived and was extremely impressed with the Cindy?s manner and
the cat?s condition. Cindy brought Zelda in and waited for her to be reunited
with her people. She expressed concern that Zelda hadn?t eaten but assured us
that she?d been drinking water and using her box throughout. When, Fitz, the
?problem? cat came in, the driver let us know how fond she was of him and what
an excellent eater he was! Both cats were immaculate and simply happy to be
back with their family. Most amazingly, neither had been tranquilized - all the
pills were returned unused along with leftover food sent for the trip. Having
them arrive so seemingly unstressed, safe from the chaos of the move, was worth
every penny of the charge (which was competitive with other estimates). We
would not hesitate to recommend them and use them for future long distance
moves.

Everything went great!  Our cat was picked up on time, we spoke with the driver several times during the transport to let us know how our pet was doing and our cat arrived on time - safe and sound.  I absolutely recommend Precious Pets.

They were in contact with me every step of the way. I knew what to expect. My dog was very fearful of getting into the van at first and the driver worked with her a lot to get her used to things. By the end she was hugging her and crying when she had to leave her at the kennel. She had nervous diarrhea the first day, so she called her office and called me and changed her diet and gave her meds to get her better. She cleaned her up in the hotel.
She contacted me a couple times a day and sent pictures so I could see them and see how things were going.
She delivered the pets on time to the kennel--she called them ahead of time. She dropped them off and their food and bedding.
She was kind and friendly, safe and great with my pets.

The service provided was excellent.  Communication was top-notch - The dogs were well taken care of on their journey across the country by their driver, Dan, and arrived in excellent condition.
