From start to finish, Atlantic was, in a word, "Professional". I got quotes from two other outfits, but I was really sold from the start on Atlantic. Their "salesman" was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and seemed like a straight-shooter--wonderful first impression. They came to do the work when they said they would and completed it in the time they estimated. The installers were also incredibly knowledgeable and professional and they were happy to explain what they were doing and clearly explained some of the issues/problems with the installation of our existing system. The other outfits I got estimates from quoted prices marginally better than Atlantic's, but I was more than happy to pay the difference. Atlantic will be taking care of all my HVAC work in the future.

Atlantic Plumbing Heating and Air Conditioning Inc are always on time, courteous, friendly, and always clean up after themselves. they won’t push extra services on you. i will use them again in the future.

I called Atlantic and they said they would send someone right away. The guy came and he showed me the problem. He told me to fix the problem he was going to have to drill under the house and fix the problem there. He also asked to look at the crawl space. He came back about 15 minutes later and he was shaking his head. He told me that I had a bigger problem under there. He said there were 2 inches of water in the crawlspace and that the pipe that goes from my main bathroom had cracks in it. He said that anytime I used the bathroom or washing machine it was leaking into the crawl space. I then called Angie's List and obtained ratings so that I could get another opinion. I had 2 additional companies come out based on their Angie's List referral. Both of these companies came out and they said they didn't see any water in the crawl space and they both checked the main line and didn't see any cracks. They were able to fix the garbage disposal issue for less that $200.00, but the guy from Atlantic wanted over $1200.00 to replace the whole main line for that one small leak. He clearly lied to me and intended to over charge me completely. I really do not like the fact that he lied to me.

The technician arrived on time. He said that they had trouble with cracked heat exchangers in my unit, Janitrol GMP075-4 and that he hoped mine was fine. Turns out it had a crack and he said to replace the cracked heat exchanger would be $980 because it was time intensive..the part was still under warranty. He recommended that I just replace my furnace because that would run around 4k and then I wouldn't have to worry about replace more parts later. Then he advised me to change out my air conditioning unit because the new units had a different more ozone friendly coolant and I really needed to do them both. The quotes ran from $6170-$7940 (price after mail in rebate and tax credit 2k). I was shocked because I had only been in the house 9 months and this would be a huge expenditure. I got and estimate from Home Depot (RS Andrews) for a new furnace which was around $4200 and they seemed very professional. Next I had Aand E Heating come out from my home warranty and they said there was no cracked heat exchanger. Again I was dumbfounded. I tried to get my $50 rebate from VA Natural Gas and when I called Atlantic to get the Contractor info they said they didn't perform a Seasonal Checkup...even though that was the whole point of me calling them. They said my unit was inoperable and even though my pink invoice says "Seasonal check" apparently I didn't get that. I feel like Atlantic is expensive, and they tell you the unit is defective and scare you into replacing the units. They told me my unit will emit toxic gas into my house and could possible start a fire. I was also told by the technician that he gets commision on the sales even though his boss denied that. I honestly felt like I couldn't trust them because they were trying to sell me something I didn't need, I didn't get my rebate, and they lied about how the techs make their money.

Atlantic called to confirm the appointment and also called ahead that morning to let us know that Dave was on his way. He arrived promptly and was very courteous and thorough. He checked our AC units and then capped the gas in the laundry room. Because he was capable of doing everything on one visit, we were only charged for the one visit. (So in the end, although their prices were a tad higher for individual services, it came out to be less expensive since the service visits could be combined). We were also able to use the discount coupons they had sent us. We joined their "discount club" and will use them to check our heat system in the fall.

Technician looked at drain. He then used a hose plugged into the laundry room faucet and forced water through. He said it was not clogged, but dry. He then let the water run for several minutes. He explained that because the drain was dry, it was allowing gas to "back up" into the laundry room and hence the smell. He suggested running a gallon of water down the drain every few months, or just sealing it with a cap from Lowes. I run water down it occationally. Tech only charged for the visit.

When my a/c was not blowing cool air I knew exactly who to call, Atlantic, because I've used them in the past and have always been happy with their service. I called on Monday morning and by Monday afternoon my a/c was fixed. The system was low on freon and the indoor coil was frozen. The tech thawed the system, added freon, adjusted the dampers for summer time and dye to recharge system. Tech will return in 30 days to inspect for leaks. Also, a full maintenance inspection was performed.

The serviceman who came out was there to service our unit but found major problems. Our system was only 9 years old but it had never keep us cool on hot days since we bought house. The company that put it in originally never could fix the problem. Atlantic found the problem areas and guaranteed to fix the problem and followed up even a week after the job just to make sure everything was doing ok on a hot day. They did say it would probably take one day to do job but took them 1-1/2 days but they were working in attic on a hot day so it took them longer. They did call to say it would take longer because of the heat in attic and did send us a restaurant gift card to go out to dinner on them. We did get a yearly service agreement with them to keep it running properly. Overall, I dont like spending money but am ok with everything they did for us and everyone was very pleasant to deal with.

Our experience has been good. They aren't the cheapest, but they are a good value.

They do great work but they are expensive. I try to think you get what you pay for because i live in old house.

Very expensive - $195 an hour rate for 30 minutes of work, so the actual cost is almost 400 an hour. Workers quoted $250 if they furnished the disposal and $195 if the consumer did - considering the actual Lowes cost for a disposal is $100 - it's obvious they were making up the quotes as they went along. Spent 45 minutes on site including two ten minute breaks. Were 20 minutes late in arriving for the appointment. Noy worth the effort to employ them. You do the post job cleanup as they bought no cleaning materials.

I called the company office yesterday (Monday) to request the service and was offered the same day if convenient. The next day...today...(Tuesday) was set up for noon or soon after. Jennifer in the office called Tuesday midmorning to offer an earlier possibility if it would be helpful (left a voice message because we weren't home) and confirmed that if I didn't call back to expect the technician as scheduled. Two very polite technicians arrived exactly at noon, assessed the job at hand and went right to work, finishing in less than 45 minutes (that included a meticulous clean-up as well as completing the work invoice.) They also were able to give me an estimate on the cost of replacing the toilets in the future (at my request) along with some suggestions about choices available. In every respect this was a completely satisfactory experience.

This was probably something I could have done myself, but time is money sometimes. Unfortunately, the time in this case was a bit expensive for the service provided, which was the only really negative part of my experience. The technicians quickly found the source of the leak in one of our toilets which merely required some screw/nut tightening, but they also identified aging mechanics in the toilet tank that might become problems in the near future.

Their pricing was in line with other estimates. I wasnt' sure who to use so I called plumbers and asked several questions. They always returned my call no matter how often I called. Their customer service was far and above their competition and they had a good reputation. I couldn't be more pleased with the quality of their work. I did have a small problem with the kitchen drain, but they came back until it was resolved.

Company representatives were very responsive on the telephone when I called to inquire about the services. The plumber came to the house and gave me an estimate. The final amount charged matched the amount I had been given during the estimate. I had a very difficult time finding shower/bath fixtures that were wide enough for our 1950s shower (a total spread of 11 inches; new fixtures have a spread of only 8 inches). I called the company and they quickly found replacement parts for me and also accommodated my request for a specific brand and model of low water flow toilet. The process of installing the new fixtures was difficult and very noisy. We have old galvanized pipes and there was access to the pipes from a wall behind the bathroom. The plumber did a good job of cleaning up. The new fixtures look great! However, the water pressure in our shower head is now lower than it had been. I believe the plumber will soon fix the problem. He is scheduled to return to install a new vanity.

The two technicians arrived on time, set to work immediately and accomplished the desired results in short order. They cleaned up the area at both work sites and performed all the work with professionalism. I have reported on several previous service calls from this company and have continued to be very pleased with the process from the initial phone call to the final result and the reasonable charge for the service.

The toilet of our downstairs half bath developed a leak at the base of the toilet bowl. A call was made to Atlantic Plumbing to schedule a repair and an appointment was scheduled for a plumber within 48 hours (this was not an emergency.) The technicians arrived exactly as scheduled. On inspecting the toilet they noticed that the floor covering had not been installed properly when the house was built and leaked water had gone under the vinyl. We were so advised and given the option of postponing the repair if we wanted to replace the floor covering so that the toilet seal would not have to be done again later when the covering was replaced later on. We opted to go ahead with the repair and it was done quickly. The area was cleaned up thoroughly after the repair. Both technicians were very professional and courteous.

Very polite and honest. The prices are very reasonable. The estimates are very thorough to make sure you aware of everything needing to be done. They stand by their work. They always call and let us know of any delays. They show up on time though and let us know when they are their way. I am very pleased! Everyone is polite, even the office crew. You can definitely tell they take pride in their work.

While replacing an AC unit isn't a fun experience, it wasn't unanticipated (due to the age of the equipment and the technicians). The two of them were very prompt, polite, efficient and thorough, which made it a more bearable one. The price was even a little less than the estimate I was given the day before when the technician made to evaluate the situation. Overall, and in each stage of the service call, I was very pleased. It is gratifying when a company delivers what is promised in a thorough and professional and timely fashion.

I really trust this company. They did a very good job on our systems, and they didn t leave any mess when they were done. The man was super friendly, and I felt that his price was very reasonable for the job that he did.

They gave us a bid on the job and they arrived to do the repair when they said they would. They were very professional. I was comfortable having them at my house. They hauled away all of the old pieces and did a very good job. Everything was cleaned up before they left and I have not had any problems with the new pipes.

I liked this outfit service, for the mere fact that when I was in need and needed service right now. I got the water heater that my home needed. I let them take the old one away. The water was hot and I haven't had a problem since they helped me out.

I thought the men from Atlantic did an average job. They were able to close out the old piping that went to my washer in the utility room. Then they added new piping in the garage area were I was relocating every thing to. However, it did take them a few days to remove the sink that was with the washer. I thought that was a bit ridiculous. Other than that, it was all done how it should have been. The pricing was good and the work was done correctly. I would say I have no complaints.
