It went very well. The work was finished in less than a week and the job was outstanding!

I called and received voicemail; I left a message and received a return call from the Owner the next day. Leon came by the following day, measured the 2 rooms I was interested in having refinished, and said he would send an email detailing his estimate. I promptly received the email and accepted his proposal. As I was interested in immediately proceeding with the project, Leon worked me into his busy schedule within a week. This young man is extremely knowledgeable, very professional and unbelievably talented. Leon and his assistant went about this job in a very organized and proficient fashion, and completed the job within two days. My floors were White Oak and had not been refinished in 49 years. To say that I am immensely pleased with the finished job is a gross understatement. I would highly recommend Leon to anyone looking for exceptional quality, professional work ethics, integrity and value for your money. I personally plan to seek Leon's help with all future projects. He is a man of his word and is a delight to work with.

I was actually at work while they were working on the floors. My friend let them In the house and on occasion they were a little late but I was told they were very Professional and obviously knew what they were doing. I was sort of in a time crunch To get the work done and they fit me in between jobs. Very happy with their work. Might have them do the downstairs in a few years.

While researching hardwood floors we called Lumber Liquidators. They had Leon Adams of Adams Hardwood come out put together an estimate. We were very impressed with Leon and his knowledge and and professionalism. We scheduled our start date with Leon and he and his crew showed up punctually that morning. They staged the furniture moving installation to minimize the impact on us. The install went very smoothly. The crew was able to handle every challenge our install threw out. They had a very keen attention to detail. Our questions were always answered and any concerns we had were quickly addressed. At the end of the job Leon did a very thorough walkthrough with us and made sure we were pleased with the installation. He also spent time going through the care and maintenance needs of our material. I definitely recommend Adams Hardwood. I would also recommend contacting Leon directly instead of going through the supplier - he can help in complete process and can make sure you get the best price for the choice of material.

Leon measured the floors & stairs, then gave an estimate. They started the work shortly thereafter. He said they would be finished by Thursday (they started on Tuesday), I said I'd believe it when it happened - to my amazement they were finished on Thursday! They were professional, knowledgeable, courteous and all around nice guys. When I couldn't make my mind up about what stain to use, they were very patient and helpful. The floors are awesome! They fixed an uneven stair tread at no extra charge. To top it all off, they stopped back by on Friday to put a few pieces of furniture back for me - they didn't have to do it, but they did. In my job, I work with many contractors, it is extremely rare to find someone who does what they say they will do, for what they say it will cost, and then be helpful above and beyond that! I highly recommend Adams Hardwood Flooring.

Love the results! Our 21 year old floor had taken the abuse of two large dogs, a dishwasher leak, toilet tank leak and typical "wet shoe" syndrome at the front door. Leon and his team turned this mess into "like new" condition. Work was done on time and under estimate by $133. The price for our floor was a little higher than other estimates but this is due to my insistence in a high quality floor finish--the product used on my floor ran about $120/gal, a product I am sure will provide long lasting protection and beauty.

I have bad asthma so Leon Adams and crew did the installation while I was away. Very trustworthy people.

I needed a quote on changing a stairway from carpeted pine to oak. Leon came to the house, and was pleasant and professional. He said we would get an estimate in 2 to 3 days. Almost week later, I called and asked about the estimate. I was told it was not ready but would be very soon, but that there was some information that they would send right away. A week later, having received nothing, I called and left a message that if I did not get an estimate in the next day or so, I would have to presume that they were not interested. I never got a reply at all, so I went with another provider. I found this a shame, as we liked Leon, and after meeting him thought they would be a favorite to get the work.

I would highly recommend them. I am extremely pleased with their work, attitude, and them consistently coming to work till the job was done. The price was also fair.

He offered suggestions on wholesalers to contact to save money, which was great. Gave reviews of products he was familiar with. Told him how much I could spend. He looked into different companies to find the best prices. I did my homework and he gave me the correct going rate. He gave me an itemized invoices for both materials and labor. He told me what day and times he would be available. He was punctual and thorough. He is very personable but extremely professional. We are having him install our hardwood flooring in our den also.

I had a spare bedroom (10x12) that had been a teen boy's room and had horrible nasty burgandy carpet. I wanted the carpet removed and hardwood floors installed like the rest of my house. I had a very small budget and explained to Mr. Adams what I wanted and had to work with. He suggested solid wood remnants from Lumber Liquidators and he found a beautiful ash in the quantity needed for pennies to the dollar. Adams Flooring ordered the remnants, picked up and delivered them, removed and disposed of the old carpet (I never had to see it again!!!), did what had to be done to sub flooring to prepare it for wood, and installed the new wood floor, sanding and refinishing it and then installed shoe molding stained to match - Voila! New floor - New room!! It looks FANTASTIC!! I actually lament putting furniture back in there as it covers it up. The longest part was waiting for the delivery of the lumber from Lumber Liquidators. They lost the order and what should have been ready to be picked up in a week took 2. Mr. Adams was more frustrated by this then me as he was ready to start the job but didn't have the wood for a week longer then expected. I am completely pleased by the work he did. He was very professional and considerate. Plus he suggested that if I had any interest in repainting the woodwork of the room that it would be easier to do so before he installed the shoe molding. So I did!! The floor looks so great now I'm planning to repaint the walls now too!! I've been inspired! I have a smaller job needing custom molding in my living room and Mr. Adams is now working on that job for me. I highly recommend his work. One more thing - I live way out in the country and usually it's very difficult to find skilled professionals that will come way out here. I feel I have been very fortunate to have found Adams Flooring. Thank you Angie's List!

The job turned out fantastic. He was extremely trust worthy. I could leave him in my house by himself and the work would get done in a timely manner. He recommended things that I didn't see. He gave a lot of ways of doing things less expensively but good in quality. He is young but very experienced and professional.
