Commonwealth Landcare provided excellent services. It was entirely professional, friendly, cooperative, and responsive. The employees were always efficient, thorough, and easy to work with. I recommend Commonwealth Landcare highly!

They were very professional and thorough. I was unsure that they understood a particular area that needed to be cleared. They did not speak English very well and therefore thought I just said to clear away from the house and yard. There was an area that needed to be cleared inside the circular driveway that was not cleared and with the 20 minutes that was left on the clock, they might have been able to clear most of it. I do think that the rest of the yard and house was cleared very thoroughly and I think the price was great, so I'm really not trying to complain about the other spot. I am very happy with the job!

They were good. They were quick and did exactly what I wanted them to do. They do a really good job. The price is reasonable. I would recommend them.

Everything was fine. They kept in touch with me. The owner and a coworker did the work. They were able to do the work in two days. He was very accommodating with me.

They did not clear the entire front yard of leaves in four hours of work. In the past, it has never taken me more than three hours using a leaf blower and a rake. They didn't finish the driveway plus they stacked the leaves near the mailbox. You have to drive through the leaves to reach the mailbox by car. The postman has to drive over the leaves to deliver the mail.

They arrived a little early around 7:30 am or so. Marcus was the person in charge of the 2 men. He introduced himself to me and we chatted for while. As I mentioned I had a lot of leaves that I had taken days to blow to side of yard.. They charge $120 a truck load. Well it took about 4 truck loads. I was told the truck holds 200 bags of leaves. I think it took about 5 & 1/2 hours. That included them leaving to empty out truck each time. They did a great job and I hope I can afford to use them again next year.

I didn't have to schedule out weeks ahead. The tree in front of our house is a HUGE MESS MAKER!!! The leaves, even though I had another service come and pick up leaves a couple of months ago, I did 5 hours of raking...it just never stopped. The leaves were becoming slimmy in the street. Which leads to safety. The city never picked up our leaves because it rained that day. So needless to say I got the 200 deal and then I added the 100 for them to vacuum up the leaves and take them away. I love looking at my yard now and I am sure my neighbors are happy to see the lawn full of leaves gone!

Mike was very good about responding and suggested a better time to aerate/seed than the time of year I suggested. He knew what was best for my lawn and was willing to wait to do the job and therefore collect the additional payment. The team that came out were punctual, friendly, efficient and fast. I would highly recommend them.

They were professional. Its $200 for the leaf pick up out of the yard. They told me they will take it to the curb and there is an additional charge for haul away.

We've been using their service for the past couple of months now. Our lawn was in bad shape to begin with but after treatments including aeration and overseeding, it has only marginally improved. There are also bare areas that were definitely not aerated. However, I have not yet contacted the company about the oversight to give them an opportunity to rectify the situation. Since our lawn was pretty bad to begin with, I figure I'll give it a year or so before passing final judgment.

Commonwealth Landcare was the most responsive of landscaping companies we contacted. They were prompt and professional at all times. The initial quote was reasonable for the amount of work and work staff to execute it, although I added to the job to ultimately reach $1,600. The entire (large) job was completed within three days (including weather delays), and we were very satisfied with the results. You get what you pay for, so the cost was reasonable, all things considered.

Called provider after reviewing Angie's List. Provider sent out an individual as and when promised who was professional, quick, and informative. Received quote and subsequently scheduled service. Provider came as promised, went straight to work and did a thorough and professional job. Both employees were courteous with my questions, professional and friendly. Price seemed more than fair. After almost three weeks, over seeded areas have germinated and are showing good growth. I have a difficult lawn, but it is looking very good after the treatment. Highly recommend these folks!

This company did a great job. They worked fast and hard. Did so much I added tasks to fill the time I had purchased.

I was between tenants in my rental house and the tenant that just left had done very little yard work, I was looking to get the house sparkling clean in short order so I could find a new tenant. Given my timeline and situation they squeezed me in what normally would be a 6 week waiting period for work like this, I am sure a few extra bucks were added on the estimate to do so (time vacant is money lost in the rental world so it was worth it). They ended up using a leaf vacuum to get up the leaves, it was 2 tall trailer loads of leaves. They had 2 guys working 2 full days on the leaves and brush, another couple shorter visits to get the bushes trimmed. All and all it took about 2 weeks from the day they came to do the estimate to finishing the job (they were not there every day). They even worked with me to get the worst of it done as quickly as possible so I could get the house on the market as they were finishing the job.

Mike, the owner, and two of his crew were here early on the date scheduled, to review what I wanted accomplished. It was a big job but I needed it completed in just one day, and they stayed from early morning until dark to do just that. The crew worked diligently to weed, trim, edge, mulch, and generally whip my very average yard into something that was photo ready for an important family event. I was provided with a professional estimate beforehand, which I needed to tweak and the owner was most accommodating and understanding. My yard has never looked better. I will definitely have them back this fall to trim some very large and overgrown crepe myrtles and redtips, and anything else that needs to be done. They were professional, courteous, hard-working, and delivered over and above service. I highly recommend this company for any yard/lawn/landscaping work that you want done.

I ultimately decided to use a more local company for this project (and the required ongoing maintenance), but Commonwealth Landcare's prices were competetive and Michael demonstrated wealth of knowledge on site regarding Do-It-Yourself lawn care, and I would not hesitate to contact this company for future projects.

Job done when I wasn't here,but appeared to be done to my satisfaction.

The individuals who spread the mulch and carried it up a steep hill to get to my garden areas were great. It was 95 degrees and they were working extremely hard and did an excellent job. I would recommend them to come back again.

I initially had them first come out for work through a Big Deal. I have used their services several times now. They may cost more than other companies, but you get what you pay for. They are professional and do great work!

It took them a long time to schedule to come out. Seemed like they were (understandably) prioritizing their commercial customers. They did not weed the garden beds they constructed, so three weeks later, the beds were completely weeded over. (Not the end of the world.) The grass and edging looked very good. The tree trimming/branch cutting was well done, also. They yard cleanup and brush removal was also good.

My new house had a very overgrown yard. These guys did a great job cleaning it up so I can start gardening. We had one mishap but Mike made it right immediately. I'm looking forward to working with them again. Communication skills: excellent Responsiveness: excellent Professionalism: excellent. Also appreciative of unusual plants and gardening.

The owner is a Virginia Tech Graduate. I pay $48 per visit. Their work ethic, their knowledge of the grasses in the area are good. He knows quite a bit more than just land care such as irrigation, flowering, bushes and trees.

We thought that the quote was a little high and opted to do the work ourselves.

They arrived pomptly, worked h****** a very hot day and did all that I asked them to and more. Would definitely recommend and use again.
