CL arrived as scheduled. All areas treated were also aerated twice. From arrival to departure, time at my location was just under an hour. The seed/fertilizer package that CL uses is very good and within 5 days from seeding (I did water every day) new grass was sprouting and the coverage is very even and is looking great. I asked for a quote on lawn maintenance for the coming Spring through Fall of '14 and received it two days later. It is very comprehensive, consisting of seven specific visits which were very detailed. I am going to contract CL for this service.

My yard was in need of some care this fall, and I came across a Big Deal from Commonwealth Landcare. They showed up as scheduled and did the job without issue. A month later, the new grass is coming in nicely - they put down enough seed to provide adequate coverage.

Great, they showed up at the right time and spoke with me before starting to ensure that everything I wanted done was completed to my satisfaction. I mentioned several areas of the lawn that needed extra application, they understood and completed everything in good time. I'm completely satisfied and hoping for the best results this coming year.

I purchased the Big Deal Aeration and Seeding. The team did a very good job. We have had a lot of rain recently and quite a few leaves had fallen since I cut the grass the day before. The crew even blew the leaves in the yard before they seeded. Very nice work, would use these Gus again.

I requested service based on a coupon I saw on Angie's List. I received a prompt response from Mike letting me know exactly how to prep for the service. Two employees showed up exactly when they said they would. I was told the service would take approximately 30mins, which it did. They were polite, professional and the job was better than what i expected. Their equipment was commercial grade and made quick work of my lawn. They used seed with fertilizer in the seed and they explained how I should care for the lawn over the next few weeks. I will definitely have them return for future needs.

The two young men who came were very courteous and hard-working. They did a good job spreading the mulch and edging some of the beds. Unfortunately, I had made the appointment for the afternoon, and they arrived mid-morning, when I was occupied with another seviceman's visit and when I was unprepared for them. I asked if they could come back later, when I could give them my attention, and they weren't able to do so. I directed them just to start mulching because I couldn't take time to walk through the yard with them. What I had planned was for my children and me to weed some of the beds prior to the landscapers' arrival and to lay a hose to outline a new bed. I needed the young men to move the mulch in a wheelbarrow from the big pile in our driveway to the existing beds (the hard part for me--I can spread it myself), and help me dig the perimeter for a new bed. Since the weeding hadn't been done, they tried to help me by cleaning up some of the beds, and a tree and small shrub I was nursing along were pulled up. And since I hadn't had time to outline the new bed, they couldn't dig it out for me. The manager was very apologetic and had the young men stay over the time I had purchased to help me move some more of the mulch, but all that was accomplished was some mulching. And I still have a big pile of mulch in my driveway for that new bed that hasn't been dug out. I gave the service a "B" in professionalism, because I would have liked for the manager to call and ask if it was convenient for the workers to come early rather than just showing up and assuming I would be glad to see them. Although I do not work outside the home, if I did, I may not have even been here to tell them what I needed done. I'm sure if they had arrived at the scheduled time, I would have been very happy with the service, as what they were able to do was well-done.

I ordered the lawn aeration and overseeding package offered by Commonwealth through Angies's List. I was impressed by the service. Within hous of placing my order I received an e-mail from Commonwealth letting me know they would perfrom the service on one of days I requested. They showed up when they said they would and the service was excellent.

They did a great job. Flower beds and walkways were all re edged. Left areas neat and clean. They were punctual, professional and friendly. Also had informative website which included seasonal recommendations for lawn care.

They did a very nice job. I was really pleased with what they did. I thought everything they did met or exceeded my expectations.

They were prompt, quick and very efficient! I was in desperate need of assistance with some very large hedges. They took the time to understand what I wanted and were very quick. They cleaned up after themselves - left nothing beind!

We have been very satisfied with the service and plan to use them again next year. They will be mowing through October.

The workers arrived on time and got right to the job. They were diligent and fast and completed the shrub trimming in less time than planned so they were able to dig up wisteria roots for the remaining time of my Big Deal. They removed all debris for a $25 extra charge. I was impressed with their manners and good job ethics and will ask them back again.

Service was easy to arrange. On time performance. Equipment was high grade. A homeowner could never do as good a job with the equipment typically available to homeowners. The main piece was not a tow-behind type, but was designed specifically for aeration with selectable tine pressure for hard or soft soils. The operator stands on the equipment. It covers a lot of ground in a hurry. The second piece of equipment was a smaller piece for getting into tight spots, sort of like the ones available to homeowners but several levels of quality and performance above. I later put down lawn products on my yard, and I didn't see one spot that was missed.

They hauled away all the weeds and cleaned up well behind themselves. Could not tell they had ebbn there except that the yard looked great.
