He arrived at the scheduled time, retrieved the needed part and had it repaired that same afternoon.

Got same day service after calling mid day on a Saturday. Technician identified the problem and quoted the repair. Needed parts and repair was done a day later. Lightning quick service was greatly appreciated.

Our refrigerator stopped cooling properly. I filled out the homeadvisor form and had a call back from Gary at Nova. He showed up on time and repaired the problem. Refrigerator needed more freon but he also discovered broken fan in the freezer section and replaced it. Very professional and competent service tech.

The representative from Nova Appliance would not tell me how long it would take to perform the repair until I argued with the representative. I wanted to figure out the labor cost. Eventually, I was told 30 minutes to 1 hour. Then, the job was performed in 15 minutes. When I attempted to give them the final payment, the Nova Appliance representative tried to charge me more money, than was agreed upon. After two phone calls to his "headquarters", I argued again and then the representative conceded that I was right and agreed to charge me the price originally stated by NOVA Appliance. I would not recommend hiring this contractor. They overcharge, are not truthful, and are combative.

Advised on refrigerator repair, (get a new one and do not try to fix the current one") and repaired clothes washer (picked up part and returned within an hour). A little pricey but very confidence inspiring. They respond instantly to any inquiry, are usually able to get to you soon and do solid work. Ask for Sunny in Bethesda.

These guys were just a little pricey but the customer service was fantastic! Arrived on time and quickly determined the problem was a broken ice maker (although admittedly, there was nothing else to replace :) ). He didn't have the part with him, but he checked with his office, they had one in stock, so he went and picked it up and came back. My ice maker was fixed the same day as the service call. Outstanding!
