Nova Appliance Repair

I had Gary come out because I needed my fridge looked at and he thought it was the control panel and said that he would get back to me with a price and did not so I called him and he again said that he would call me back, again and he did not, so I called a Samsung tech and he came out and said it was something different I pd. Gary $59.95 for the wrong advise

He fixed my dishwasher the same day I contacted him. He educated me on my dishwasher to avoid future problems.

Came in a timely manner. Was considerate and removed his wet shoes before entering the house. Found and fixed the major problem within an hour. Reinstalled the small spray in the top of the dishwasher but the first time a complete cycle was run it came off again.

The technician was very courteous and explain what the problem was and the solution.

Appointment was scheduled efficiently and service tech (Gary) arrived promptly. Job involved diagnosing and fixing our freezer. He seemed like he was in a hurry, quickly determined the issue, did a fix for $200+ and left. I asked him several questions at the end - he wasn't dismissive but seemed in a hurry and just reassured me that everything was fine. What he did didn't fix the issue and we had to bring another tech out several days later to diagnose the problem correctly.

They came out to repair a refrigerator that I have in the garage. I was told it would need a new defrost mechanism but it would take a few weeks to determine if it was needed. The technician asked me to shut it down overnight and restart it which seems to work. Thinking the mechanism would be needed I gave them $59.00 for the initial visit and $40.00 towards a possible repair. That was on August 22nd. I called them three times since to let them know I was okay with leaving things as is and not replace the defrost mechanism. I also asked to have them send me the $40. Each time they said it was mailed to me. $40 may not seem much but I am retired and on a fixed income. I will never use them or recommend them.
