Nova Appliance Repair

Tech defrosted frozen coils than stated that the refrigerant was low. He installed a refrigerant adapter to the cooling system and recharged the unit with refrigerant. Refrigerator worked fine for a few days then the issue returned. So I contacted GE Factory Service who came out and set up diagnostics which indicated the unit just needed a new thermistor (temperature sensor) which costs $20. He also said the cooling system, including the refrigerant was fine and that there was no refrigerant leak. He also informed me that because the NOVA Appliance Repair tech installed an adapter to the cooling system and then added refrigerant to the system, he voided my remaining GE Profile 5 year sealed cooling system factory warranty. Therefore, going forward, if my compressor, condenser, or related cooling system part goes bad, the warranty won't cover the cost of the repair thanks to what the NOVA Appliance Repair tech did to my fridge. NOT HAPPY.

Aziz was on time. He quickly identified the problem and explained why it occurred. I was lucky that he had the part because it can be difficult to get Samsung parts quickly. Once the repair was made he gave me suggestions on how avoid a reoccurrence.

Speedy, accurate, and professional. I dreaded having to plunk down the full price for an almost-just-out-of-warranty-dryer. Thanks to Gary, I don't. It'll run longer and it's functioning beautifully.

Replaced gaskets on dishwasher since it was leaking from under the door. Ended up not being the problem and it had to be replaced. They did install the new dishwasher and refunded the labor for the gasket repair

Did an excellent job identifying the bad circuit board, unfortunately a replacement is no longer available. He discussed methods of getting the existing board repaired.

I had an immediate call from the pro, who was at my house before the end of day. He evaluated my problem as a need for a new switch, checked his truck (didn't have it) checked his supplier (had it) and returned the next day to install and inspect.

Nice working with these guys. They were able to accurately assess the issues in my oven/microwave and provided a good solution.

Very honest, Quick to respond. Came the next day and looked at our appliance. Said the cost to repair may be more than buying a new one. Gave us his estimate for repair and looked at another appliance while there. He was able to determine the problem that three other appliance repair people could not. I would recommend this company.
