Nova Appliance Repair

They came out and the appliances worked so I paid the service fee. It stopped working 3 days later and he came back out and told me all kinds of excuses and high price parts just basically told me that he did not want to do the job of fixing it or replacing it and left. What a waste of my $65.

I was able to book them online (through Home Advisor) and they arrived on time for the appointment. They had to pick up the part I needed to fix my dryer (I didn't know what was wrong with it) and were able to come back the next day to fix it! Fast and efficient work, they were in and done in no time. I would 100% hire them for another job.

Good communications including day of appointment. Easy to schedule online and Saturday hours! Oven ignitor replacement was more involved than I thought but was done efficiently. Total cost $170 included OEM part, labor, tax, and travel.

The repair person arrived quickly, assessed the situation, and made the necessary repairs. He communicated throughout all steps and provided an overall assessment of the appliance (dishwasher) when done. He did not recommend anything I did not need and actually counseled against doing certain things. He also provided excellent advice on how to best use the dishwasher going forward. I would trust this person again and recommend him highly.

I used the shop twice. The first experience was good and I even recommended them. However, the second use was very dissatisfying. Basically, they did not honor their quote (which was two weeks old), and did not tell me they were changing the price before actually doing the install. Only afterward did he give me the new charge. When I questioned the price increase, he went ballistic - yelling and talking over me. I will not use the company again and I caution any who do to get them to commit to a price.

Fixed the problem, took two visits since a needed part was not on the truck.

Came out within an hour and fixed my dryer vent.

Gary came to my house and took apart the dryer. He showed me the problems and stated that because the fan and the heating element needed to be replaced, which would be really expensive for a 10 year old dryer, that his recommendation would be to get a new dryer. I paid for the service visit and very much appreciated his honesty in describing the issues and making his recommendation.

The gentleman called ahead and came on time. Had to come back new parts because the ice maker was broken and fixed the water line problem and replaced something else in the refrigerator. Sears had sold me a suppose it Kenmore Elite, but when the gentleman took the extra time to research and find the parts; we found out that the Kenmore Elite was made with Samsung parts causing the refrigerator to breakdown after only one year! He worked wonders with my refrigerator and it has been working every since. Definitely wold hire again.

Showed up same day and called ahead to let me know he was coming. This was an ongoing issue with my ice maker. The owner let me know that this was a design flaw with the Samsung refrigerator (don't buy Samsung!) and he would address the issue, but it would only be a temporary solution. He taught me how to deal with it in the future so I wouldn't waste my time or money paying him or someone else to keep coming out. Price was fair and his advice was solid. Overall, a great experience.

The repair technicians were punctual, friendly, and efficient. They explained what the issue was and made the repair on the spot. The labor also comes with a 90 day warranty which is very respectable. Very pleased with the service!

Microwave repair had a complication and Gary fixed it. Very professional and honest.
