Once the county permit was approved, HCC was scheduled to perform the modification. Their pricing was reasonable and their performance was flawless. The crew arrived on site exactly when scheduled and completed the work in amazingly fast time. There were absolutely no issues and they cleaned up the area to the point that you couldn't tell that they were even there. A perfect job! We worked with Scott (the owner) to receive an estimate to perform all of the remaining work which included framing, electrical, drywall and paint. We contracted the job with Scott and were about to begin when I unexpectedly lost my job. We immediately called Scott to cancel the job until I could get a new job. He was extremely understanding, fair and supportive. As soon as we can, we will DEFINITELY reschedule HCC to finish the basement finishing job. They are a very professional and thoughtful company with a great deal of integrity - features not easily found in today's business environment!

We had 2 painter for 4 hours. They completed most of the main level of our town home but we asked them to stay and paint the kitchen and foyer. They were friendly, hardworking and competent. All together it took them 8 hours to complete the job but that included sanding a few places, painting and clean up. Billy and Bobo were a good crew!

They weren't very communicative about the job. I would rather that they had come and given me a proper estimate.

The workers were prompt, polite and did a great job in a short amount of time! I would most certainly call them again and would recommend them to others.

HCC Remodeling provided great service. Scott responded in a timely manner and scheduled service as requested. Matt and Al provided the handyman work needed. They were fantastic. Matt got everything done just the way it needed to be. Al did solid carpentry work. I have hired them back a second time. Highly recommend.

Fantastic!! Had two other companies out to fix the door both said had to buy an entire new door! But the team that came from HCC fixed it easily!!!! Very impressed with this company and definitely will use their services again. HONEST SERVICE COMPANY!!!

Matt and Tim were great. They stayed until both projects were complete. Matt skillfully improvised because I was missing one of the parts that connects the built-in-microwave to the duct. They removed the old kitchen fan, patched the ceiling, installed the duct through the cabinet above the microwave, through the attic and out the roof. They also corrected installation of the water line to the fridge ice maker. I would definitely use the company and especially Matt and Tim again.

The owner of the company came out to see exactly what I needed done. He said he would send two guys over to do the job. The deal I purchased was for a 40 hour job. I was under the impression that the two men would be there for 40 hours working together- This was actually broken up to 20 hours each separately. The two men that came seemed extremely inexperienced. I needed them to take a piece of drywall out of my ceiling that was stained from water damage. They seemed to do a good job replacing the drywall. Several days later, I noticed the paint was peeling off of the drywall that these men had painted. It seems they didn't wait long enough for it all to dry before painting. The painting job was such a slow process, they ran out of time and did not complete my laundry room.

Not good they did not do the work satisfactory at install they did come back out to fix what was not done correctly and its still not done correctly still working this out to get it the way I like it . they did not come prepared to do the job. I sent pictures to make it as easy as possible

The gentleman that was sent out kept dismissing things that I wanted to have looked at/worked on. I don't feel like he was very knowledgeable with sump pumps either. When he used the spackling, he didn't let it dry all the way and went ahead and sanded it. Because he didn't wait, it was very rough and grainy.

Extrapolated from an e-mail sent to HCC Remodeling from Angie's List agent Kara on 4/29: 1st visit - February 5 - full 8 hours, $249 (Angie’s List) My original list of items needing to be performed: 1. Replace a ceiling fan in my family room. 2. Add a light kit to an existing fan in a bedroom. 3. Drywall and paint in 3 areas. Two of which were areas less than 2 feet by 2 feet, the third one was just over that size because a 20 inch by 20 inch return vent was there. 4. Hang a plastic-coated wired shelf (Rubbermaid) in utility closet. 5. If time allows, one faucet repair in master bath. I have parts from Delta. Mark completed no. 2, half of no. 3 but only two areas inside the home (the other was in the garage), no.4 and no. 5. The existing ceiling fan was not making any noise at the time so I removed it from the list. 2nd visit - April 6 - 4 hours, $140 List of items needing to be performed: 1. Finish mud and paint 2 drywall areas already started. (see no. 3 above) 2. Patch with existing drywall, mud, sand and paint hole in drywall in garage. (see no. 3 above) 3. Replace ceiling fan in my family room. 4. Cover a return vent in my garage establishing a frame around it with 2 inch by 4 inch studs, drywall, mud, sand, etc. (NEW) I removed no. 4 on March 31 because I felt it would take him too long to complete. Mark added additional mud to no. 1 and got the final coat of mud on no.2. Either area had not been painted. The ceiling fan could not be done because the modified canopy I purchased for the vaulted ceiling would not support a remote control box so no. 3 was removed. 3rd visit - April 25 - 2 hours $70 My final list needing to be performed: 1. Replace a ceiling fan in my family room. 2. Finish sanding and painting an area above my dining room and along on stairs that Mark previously patched. Mark completed no. 2. Number 1 could not be completed because Mark said I needed a different canopy to support the angle of my vaulted ceiling so the downrod could hang straight down. Summary: 3 visits, $459, 14 hours What was completed: 1. Patch, mud, paint 3 drywall areas. Mark did the final painting on one area that I could not reach. The other two areas I finished just because the job was taking too long. 2. Light kit was added to existing ceiling fan. 3. Two Rubbermaid plastic coated wired shelves were added to my utility room. 4. Faucet in master bath was repaired. A day later my HVAC friend hung the ceiling fan in my family room in 2 and a half hours. All the needed parts were in the package. We rented a 10 foot ladder from Home Depot. From hole in ceiling to floor measured 13 feet, 6 inches. I finished the final sanding and painting in my loft area and in the garage because I was tired of this work dragging on and wanted closure. So, did I get my money’s worth? Absolutely not. The work completed was not complex work. Mark drag out this job. He was more interested in talking about his upcoming condo purchase, showing me a picture or two on his cell phone, sharing with me how he jokes around with you. He worked at a snail’s pace. I wanted to call you after the first visit sharing my concern but figured maybe the pace would pick up. It never did. I didn't want to complain because I REALLY needed that ceiling fan to be replaced. I should have called and express my concern with you. On another matter, Mark did not do any cleanup as shown in the pictures. There was diluted paint on my hardwood, mud chunks on the carpet in my loft, and water marks/diluted paint on my Rug Doctor and surrounding area. For me, after $459, I did not get my money’s worth. I haven't been this upset over an Angie's List deal in awhile. I truly believe this job should have been completed in 2 visits. No more.

These guys are awesome, showed up on time and early each day. Very professional and explained process throughout. Would definitely recommend this company as they work hard at making sure your home shines.

I purchased a special for a painter for a day on 4/14/16 and e-mailed the provider my info and 3 suggested dates for the work. I never received a response. On 4/20/16, I called and left a voice mail. As of 4/23/16 at noon, I still haven't heard anything. No excuses for such awful customer service.

First it was after 1 week that I got a call for the first appointment, then promised to call back next day to confirm appointment, but I never received the call.

This is a wonderful company. I received an instant response from the company after I purchased the "handyman for a day coupon." We scheduled the work for January 27 -- and, in spite of the post-blizzard conditions, Mark arrived very early as promised. He was great and his work was nothing less than perfect in every respect. After he finished fixing the hole in the ceiling and the crack in the wall, it was nearly impossible to tell that either area ever had any damage. His spackling job for both looked like works of art. I was impressed beyond words. The new faucet that he installed is gorgeous and works great. The showerhead works great and the exterior door, which could not be opened without a lot of lifting and pulling, now opens very easily without the need to apply any force. I highly recommend this company, and will not hesitate to use them again.

Greg was on time and fixed all the things on my list that needed fixing in my Home. I would recommend HCC for any home project that you may need. Very Pleased with there service.

I purchased the coupon for $249$ for a handyman for a whole day. or 2 handy man for 4 hrs. I am happy with their work. 2 person showed up and installed the 3 ceiling fans and cleaned up after the work is done. Will hire them in future. Thank you

HCC (Billy & Mark) were fantastic!!! I bought an 8 hr package from them to do some repairs. I was on a tight deadline and was unsure of the extent of the work. HCC provided all the info I needed ahead of time so I would have the correct woodwork (moldings, etc) to accomplish the job. They picked up lumber as well. I would have had to rent a truck for that. None of the hours were wasted on having to run out for supplies that were needed. They came in and were quick, meticulous, professional, and extremely knowledgable. They also cleaned up perfectly. I ended up having more work than 8 hrs worth and so they returned the next day to complete all the work before my deadline. I had to pay for additional hours but again they were quick and professional. This was honestly the best contractor experience I have had. They saved me money by repairing whenever possible verses replacing unnecessary woodwork. I plan on having them do my kitchen backsplash as additional work because of the great job they did. I have been hoping to find a contractor that does everything and who I can stick to for my needs. Think I found them!!! Awesome Team!

The serviceman arrived on time and got right to work. He was careful in helping me move furnishings (I have limited mobility) and in laying down drop clothes and preping the walls. I am very happy to report the final product looks great, professional and was done on time. I appreciate HCC's patience with me as two other projects I had hoped to hire them for fell through because of unanticipated problems that were my fault. They were very understanding and I'm glad that I was finally able to get them here. They had offered a day of labor at a reduced price. I'm just glad that we finally were able to get it all together.

Nothing, they showed up to the wrong address, then they went to the correct address and said that it would be more than the coupon, so we asked for an estimate and they said they would send one, but they never did. We requested a refund from Angie's list as service was never performed and they were absolutely non responsive. Thanks, Monica Sherman
