Work performed perfectly quick clean efficient

Everything went according to plan until we got to the showers and bathtubs. There were leaks in both bathtubs, the shower and the sink. We also installed floor heating which no longer works because the bathtub leaked under the floor. The shower tiles are all cracking since they were not properly spaced and the shower floor is uneven and puddling. We still have leaks in 2 sinks and the bathtub. After a couple initial efforts to remediate HCC completely ceased responding. We are now stuck hiring another contractor to fix all the mistakes which is costing us about 50% of the original project total. Complete disaster, do not recommend

Excellent. HCC did a great job and were very reasonable in their pricing. They showed up when promised and performed the work to satisfaction. Would recommend and certainly hire again.

They did a great job!! From the destruction and remove of old shower tile and bathtub to installation of new shower and tiles, they were great. They made sure the job was cleaned up each night as they left and were prompt each day. I can't say enough how nice it was to work with Scott and his crew. He was flexible on the estimate when we changed our mind on tile, etc. They were professional and efficient from the start. The shower floor and walls came out next to perfect, no flaws or bad cuts. We are very impressed with the tile job. I will be using them again in the future!

All went extremely well. Eric was very concise on his estimate (process and pricing). The team (Billy and Caleb) were very efficient, prompt, experienced, and CLEAN (I am very particular about job site cleanliness). The job was estimated at 3 days and took 2.5. The craftsmanship was great, precision cuts and finish was more than I expected. Definitely will hire again and recommend for a similar job.

He arrived on time and had all the tools he needed to complete my list. They contacted me to get the list in advance. I couldn’t be happier. I already contacted them to do more work.

It went well, Mark from HCC was amazing!!!

Work was prepaid through Angie's List. Handyman Mark arrived exactly on time, but left after 3 1/2 hours instead of 4 hours as purchased. He did not have a business card, wore a Home Depot hat, and did not give his full name. He did not complete #1 or #5, and with #6, he put in 4 extra holes in our mailbox and left the flag in a permanent "up" position. Homeowners ended up ordering a new flag and repairing the extra holes later. In the powder room toilet, which was working, he removed a chain in the tank, saying, "You don't need this," then later denied it to Scott, the HCC manager. At the end, the handyman wanted homeowners to sign a blank sheet of paper, then sat in his truck doing something, and left after 3 1/2 hours. Would not recommend using "Mark", unless you pay AFTER everything has been properly completed. Request a receipt and list of what was completed before signing.

Showed up on time, worked efficiently and well. Went onto roof to cut vent holes and did electrical work.

It went very well. All work was performed in a short timeframe and we were able to get additional items completed. The engineer was easy to work with and flexible with requests.

They did a good job. On the drywall repair you can't even tell that there was hole a there.They are very timely, professional, and knowledgeable. I will continue to use them and I'd recommend them to others.

Very responsive and flexible. Scott was very accommodating as I coordinated prep work (power washing) for the painting project. Once we were scheduled, the workers showed up on time and got to work. They were professional and responsive to my questions and concerns. Most of what I needed painted was detailed wood trim work. Although the job took longer than I had anticipated, the job looks great!

Wow - everything got done that was on my list and we still had time to do more. I was very happy with the quality of work and how I was treated. I was impressed at how much got done in a short period of time. All the lights are in and working, the smoke detectors were installed and tested and everything works. We had a small disconnect in terms of scheduling, which is why I had to rate promptness a little lower, but it was well worth it. I am very happy with the work that was done and would definitely have him do more.

There was some confusion about the original date we agreed upon, which we agreed to change due to a conflict on the painter's side. Once the new date was settled, he showed up on time and worked the entire day, did a nice job and left no messes.

I purchased a coupon for $299 for a painter for 8 hours. Scott was very responsive at first. Until the day he was supposed to show up! I texted him to see when should I expect him the day we agreed on him coming. 45 mins later he called and asked in such an unprofessional way "why was I supposed to come to your house?" As a business owner myself where word of mouth is so important, I was caught off guard by him unprofessionalism especcially when it was his fault. I understand things happen and we make mistakes. He never apology for his mistake and told me the job never showed up on his outlook calendar?! REALLY?!? Bc he never put it in there!!! I had to forward him our email conversation to confirm that he WAS supposed to come that day!!! Nevertheless, he was able to send someone that was not qualified to paint!!! I had to fix his crooked lines AND HE SPILLED PAINT ON MY BRAND NEW CARPET WITHOUT TELLING ME!! U GET WHAT U PAY FOR!!!! I will NEVER recommend this company!!!!

They were very responsive in setting up times to do the work. The work ended up needing rescheduled because of rain and they were prompt in rescheduling and completing job at the first day possible. They did an amazing job on my deck and it looks meticulous and beautiful.

Overall, it went well. They completed 95% of the work in the allotted time. Maybe this was due to time, but every light except three had power plugged in. Thought it was a bit odd, but not a big deal. Also, I suggest they improve their time keeping process, as it lead to some confusion in the end. I finished the rest myself and it passed inspection.
