It was difficult for Potomac due to the age of water heater. Handle broke off while old one was being dismantled. They got all the water soaked up and fans to dry it out. Even though it took them longer to do the job it did not change the cost. We are pleased with the outcome.

Fantastic and prompt service at a better price than competitors. Others didn't even know what high efficiency products were available. Brandon was knowledgable and efficient.

Brandon came out and performed a thorough inspection and water heater flush per the Big Deal I purchased for a newly purchased home. He was professional, courteous and honest. Brandon the owner was the one who did the work. He did a good job. They nicked the wall when they were carrying the water heater and he sent a professional to fix the area in the drywall. He was on time and he called about an hour prior to the appointment to let me know he was on his way. The price was very competitive.

Brandon Counts, the owner of Potomac Plumbing & Gas, was fantastic. He rearranged his schedule to take care of us as we were with out Hot Water. His customer service is top notch. He is polite, courteous and cares about his clients. Beyond replacing the water heater in just a few hours, he provided advice on other plumbing issues in the house. He took the time to walk us through the repair and explain the difference in the quality of the water heater he uses. You can tell by the attention to detail of his repair that he is a true craftsman. Brandon will be our first chioice when calling a plumber in the future.

I am the co-owner of Absolute Electric LLC. We are an electrical contractor that has been searching in vain for a good gas contractor to hookup our stand-by generators. We have met with 8 other gas contractors and there was always a problem. We tried using 3 of them, but they never communicated with us and made many mistakes. The other 5 we met for estimates were either overpriced or were very unprofessional. Brandon with Potomac Plumbing & Gas gave us a fair price, was very professional, communicated with us the entire job, performed excellent work in a timely manner, and passed inspection with no problems. We will definitely be using Potomac Plumbing & Gas for all of our future stand-by generator jobs!

Brandon came by on his way home on Monday and called when he was on his way. He was very professional and friendly and quickly identified the problem. Fortunately, it was a simple fix, and he told us how we could fix it ourselves. He wrote down what we parts we needed and didn't even charge us for taking a look. If I ever need more plumbing services, I'll use Potomac Plumbing and Gas.

Everything turned out great and scheduling was fine. He was a little tight on his time and he had to come out the next day to get everything I wanted done accomplished. He was able to come out quickly after I had purchased the big deal. He was prompt and he did a great job. I was happy with him.

Valve had been turned back somehow, so roaring loud noise on every flush.

We had a few small plumbing issues that needed fixing in our home. After calling another company and not receiving a call back, it was a relief when Brandon answered the phone the first time I called. He set up a time to come by and take a look at the problems. Once he had done the walkthrough with us, he gave us a very reasonable price and we set up a time to do the work. The day that he came to our house, he was running late but gave us a call to let us know, which I really appreciated. He did a great job and left everything cleaned up. We were very happy with his work and will definitely hire him again if needed.

I should have known better The owner quoted me a price twice as much as other providers and when i informed him of it he reduced the price to match. But i figure the other people couldn't do the job right away, what could go wrong, right? well.. He came on time and did the repair, I was little worried with the way he did some the things, but was assured everything was to code. As I usually do, i required a county inspection, and im glad i did it on this one, he always assured me everything was done right but the inspector kept finding issues finally after the third inspection, it finally passed. I give him a C because inspite of the many issues, he did try his best to fix everything to fulfill at least the minimum standards of the county inspection.

Everything went smoothly. Contractor called ahead to let me know that he was running a bit late because of traffic.

Quote was too high and not reasonable

Due to the crazy weather and an old house we had our pipes freeze inside our exterior wall. The first time the pipe burst and Brandon came out and fixed it within 24 hours of calling after being stood up for 3 days by Michael and Sons and Spartan who made appointments with us but never showed up or called. Flash forward to the next freeze 3 weeks later. My wife called Brandon yesterday and told him the pipes froze again. He advised us on what to do over the phone and things returned to normal. Unfortunately nature won again and another pipe cracked, this time while he was here just checking on things. His work is clean, he talks you through what he is doing (if you like) and he is very friendly. He might charge a bit more then some, but his professionalism and the quality of the work is the best I have experienced and totally worth the price.

Brandon Counts was very professional and easy to work a deal with. Since I was getting a gas water heater conversion including new concentric vent and a new gas line Brandon cut me good deals on installing additional gas lines without any hassle to my stove and attic furnace. I was pondering on getting my stove and attic furnace converted to gas and he did such a good job with the water heater and the price was right that I couldn't turn down his offer to install the new gas lines for the attic furnace and stove. Everything was clean after the job was complete, very professional and he minimized the drywall cuts and made them in a hidden spot in closet's since the new gas line to the attic had to be fished through existing walls. The job was done so clean, you can't even tell someone cut up my wall in the closets to fish the gas line. He left me plenty of gas piping and extra supplies and ensured i had everything i needed to allow my stove to get hooked up and the HVAC guy to be able to hook up my furnace. He also warrantied the project and if I had any issues he would take care of it. The gas water heater cut my water heating bill in half literally. Very efficient and it works so well i had to turn the thermostat to the lowest setting , very hot water but you can adjust it to your liking. I have no doubt that i will never run out of hot water again from kids all taking long showers. Very good company, fast response, no long wait periods to get your job done.

I discovered that I had a leak in a sump pump valve. I checked Angie's list and found a plumber that had hundreds of reviews and was rated A. However he never called me back. I called Potomac since it was also rated A and Brandon answered. I explained the issue and he said he could rearrange some things and come over that night. He assessed the problem and had it fixed in about 45 minutes. Very nice guy and I am very happy with the entire process.

There was a gas leak leading to my stovetop. Brandon and his associate came in and analyzed the problem, hoping that the leak would be at one end or the other of the gas line but unfortunately it was in the middle somewhere. We decided it would be best to run a new gas line rather than try to locate the leak in my ceiling, especially considering there may be more than one problem area. They ran a new gas line, with better quality materials than the original as well as pointed out and repaired other problems which the original installer of the gas line left us. I feel very confident now that the job is done right. They were professional, friendly and very thorough, and left the place in better shape than they found it. I will definitely call Brandon again for any plumbing needs.
