Description of Work: I used a big deal purchase for Potomac Plumbing & Gas. It was $625 for a 50-gallon electric water heater installed with warranty.

Description of Work: The service provider could not install the water heater for price paid ($625). Per service provider, it would cost me an additional $625 to get the water heater as my wiring was complex. I decided I didn't want to pay the additional price at this time. The service provider was very professional when explaining my options.

I called ARS and they cam out and gave me what I felt was a rediculous estimate of $2400.00!!! I checked Angies list and found Potomac Plumbing and Brandon came out and made an offer for the SAME STATE tank and put in in for less than $1,000. He was prompt, reliable and friendly. He followed up after the job was done and made sure we had no problems.

Description of Work: I am a local real estate agent in Prince William County. I have a listing in Manassas and there was an outstanding issue with an abandoned propane tank and gas lines to the house. To fulfill lender requirements on the loan for this sale, I needed to have a licensed contractor verify that the gas lines had been properly abandoned and there were no safety issues. I called 9 or 10 companies but Brandon at Potomac Plumbing was 1 of 2 that returned my call and he returned it immediately on the same day. The other company called 2 days later. Brandon was polite, professional and very quick to respond and after carefully listening to my needs, he promptly scheduled to see the house the next day. Once his inspection was completed, he immediately called me and gave me a verbal evaluation and said he would be sending written documentation by the end of the day, which he did! I will be using Potomac Plumbing in the future for any similar issues and for all my plumbing needs, not just for my clients, but for myself. Description of Work: Potomac Plumbing & Gas Inc. is great. Brandon Counts, the owner, is honest, a true expert and is a man of very good character. I'd never known him before calling PP&G, Inc., but a fellow realtor recommended them and boy am I glad. It was the week Hurricane Sandy hit the D.C. Metro area, but they found a way to help us. When it was discovered more work was needed than could be afforded, they found a solution that was affordable, and deferred another piece of the work to be done till later, when the budget allows. The short-term solution met all code requirements and was completed in first class professional manner. Their service was excellent and their understanding of the situation was cheerfully accommodating. Now, you know VERY well, we all fear calling for plumbing service when we don't know who to call. As long as PP&G, Inc. is in business, I will ALWAYS recommend them FIRST.
