Yeager Gas Fireplace Service

I've used Yeager in the past and I was happy to seem them highly rated on Angie's List. Set up the appointment and the technician arrived and did a great job cleaning the fireplace and calibrating the heat/fan to our specifications. Good company, good personnel - happy to recommend.

Steve was so professional. He prepped the area to be sure to not make a mess on my carpet, he even took his shoes off unprompted. He was very polite and explained what he was doing. I am very pleased with the service and my fireplace looks brand new! I will definitely be calling them again to install a blower on my fireplace and for all my future fireplace service needs.

Appointment was easy to schedule via email with a phone follow up to set time and date. Technician arrived on time. We had originally thought we would need to replace at least one set of gas logs, but after a thorough cleaning both fireplaces are in great shape and look lovely. Very impressed with the job that was done and we will certainly contact this company in the future for routine follow up care. Highly recommend.

We are very pleased with the service provided. Scott, the technician, did a fine job. He called to let us know he would be a little late,and arrived within 15 minutes of scheduled time. Service was more then excellent. Mr. Yeager came in and did a great job installing our gas logs and cleaning. This was our first time using yeager gas fireplace service and we will continue using his service. The receptionist Melissa was very sweet and professional! Service was more than outstanding. Mr. Yeager came out to our home and installed our gas logs and also did a cleaning. This was our first time using this company and i will continue to do so. We called the company, the receptionist Melissa answered right away, very sweet and professional woman. She answered all the questions we had, took our information and told us a technition will call us back sunday to schedule us an appointment. Sunday came and we had a phone call from Mr. Yeager who was polite, great sense of humor! He came to our home on our scheduled date and time, did services to our gas fireplace and couldnt believe the outcome. I will continue to use Mr. Yeagers company and never look back, he handled with absolute care. The price of our services done was $179 which is more then a great deal. I just want to say thank you to Mr. Yeager and his team for taking care of us.

He would not even schedule me. He was sarcastic in his responses to my e-mails trying to schedule him to come out to give me an estimate for the service I needed. He finally recommended I contact one of his competitors. This was my first experience on Angie's List, and I'm very disappointed. I'm disabled and a widow, and I'm in need of someone to make repairs to my fireplace. I had no idea I'd be met with hostility and such an unprofessional attitude. Complaining to a potential customer about how overworked you are and that your health is being affected by the long hours you're working is beyond inappropriate. I can't believe this company is so highly rated.

While I understand that this is the busy season, their new receptionist leaves much to be desired. I spent almost two weeks of back and forth phone calls trying to schedule an appointment for a fireplace cleaning. Turns out the receptionist wrote a completely wrong phone number down for me. When they realized the mistake, the owner called to apologize but still did not offer to schedule an appointment, saying the technician would call me. I never got a call from the technician. I called another company and within 5 minutes I have an appointment scheduled which alot less hassle.

I have used Yeager Gas Fireplace for several years. Prior to that I used other contractors. Bill Yeager is by far the most knowledgable and thorough technician I have come across. He is reliable and customer oriented, skills that in my view are rarely found anymore. His standards of performance are high and the customer gets the benefit. I recommend Bill with my highest level of confidence.

Outstanding service. Bill responded to my initial inquiry promptly and scheduled a time for service. He kept me informed as to his arrival time on the date of service, and had a clean and professional appearance. He diagnosed the problem quickly, explained it, and was able to make the repair immediately. Bill is interesting, personable, professional and knowledgeable about his trade, and I recommend him highly to everyone.

Very happy with the service. Bill was quick to respond and arrived on time & called me a couple times the day of to give me an estimate of when he would be there. He performed a thorough cleaning and maintenance, which got our gas fireplace back in working order. He was careful to protect the floors and make sure everything stayed neat and clean. Very happy with the service, and will hire him again when we are ready for our next cleaning.

He did a professional job. Was very neat. Fire place is working well. I indicated I would not hire this company again based on the on the perceived run around I got from the person I dealt with. He could not give me a date for service. I am told by the owner that that employee is no longer with the firm. Therefore I would like to give the firm the benefit of the doubt and would hire it again. I also changed the cost to the correct charge.

I had a great experience with Bill. He arrived on time and quickly set to work. He addressed all the issues and concerns (a finicky fireplace flame; a mispositioned log that was charring) and explained each step of the process. He inspected and cleaned the fireplace elements, repositioned the logs to prevent further damage, cleaned the glass panel, spray painted the interior, and reassembled and tested the unit. He ensured that all the debris from the service was cleaned up before he left. I now have a working, clean, and very nice-looking fireplace again. I highly recommend his work, was pleased with his professionalism, and will certainly call on him in the future.

Bill has done maintenance on our fireplace since he started his own business approximately 4 years ago. We have been very pleased with every year of service. Bill is professional, polite, honest and cleans up after the job is done. I can't imagine using anyone else. He even gave me an added discount because I called early this year to schedule the service. He is very thorough and knowledgeable and I highly recommend him.

Mr. Yeager was extremely responsive in contacting me immediately when I called. We set up a time and communicated by phone. Mr. Yeager showed up on time. He was friendly and did a very good job cleaning and servicing our fireplace to include touching up the paint on the inside of our fireplace and oiling the outside slate surround. The fireplace works and looks great. We would definitely call this company again. Thank you!

The provider was very professional and personable and gave us very important information about the maintenance of our gas insert fireplace. He made it look much better.

Mr. Yeager did a outstanding job! I had to have my fireplaces serviced before closing on my home and he came at the very same day I made the appointment. He was very courteous and took the time to explain the proper function of my fireplaces. He cleaned years of smog off of the glass insert. My fireplaces look new, thanks to Mr. Yeager. Would definitely recommend to my family, friends, or any looking get there fireplaces serviced.

I found them through Angie's List. The logs that he inserts are really nice. We had been going to fireplace shops, and looking at gas logs, just thought they were outrageously expensive. This gentleman had a very nice set, that we thought was beautiful, and it was like half the price that we thought we would end up paying had we gone through a retail place. He doesn't have any overheads, he just works on his own.

He came and did what he said he was going to do. He was professional and nice. He actually improved the operating of my gas fireplace. The cost was reasonable compared .

They never made it to my house. I received a call saying traffic was bad and they were canceling the appointment. I rescheduled the appointment only to have the tech not show up. I called to see if they were still coming. Hours later after the appointment time I would receive a call back saying they can still make it at which time I declined to wait any longer. The owner wrote a letter of apologize and sent a $50 check that I never cashed.
