Bill and Bob were a pleasure to meet and they did an outstanding job getting my fireplaces to operate.

Mr. Yeager did an outstanding job. He was very sure what the issue was after our discussion on the phone and had parts available on his visit. We were very glad he offered to come by late after completion of another job as we really wanted the repairs completed. He laid down dropcloths to catch any debris and performed an entire cleaning , annual service and repair during his short visit (about 1 hour). Yeager Gas Fireplace Service will now be our provider of choice!

We called and he was very flexible with our schedules. He was on time and did a thorough job. We were told by another company that we needed a valve replaced and it was going to cost over $1000. We called Yeager Gas and he insisted that he come to the house first and inspect the fireplace and see if he could fix the issue without replacing the valve. It turns out we did not need a new valve. He explained the situation and offered to come back to the house if we have any issues in the future. he was very professional and we will certainly use his services in the future.

Bill Yeager was polite and patient on the phone and gave a fixed price to correct the problem. If parts were needed, that would be extra. His technician called back promptly to set an appointment, and also came on time. He was careful about keeping our white carpet clean, very thorough about cleaning the unit and getting the gas to ignite. Also very patient in answering queries, etc. Explained to us that if we turned off the pilot light and gas its lack of use will make it harder to re-ignite. Gave us a few extra safety tips which we found very useful. Like their polite, quick and efficient service.

I was very impressed with them. The fireplace was clean. From the beginning, they were professional, and understanding of my situation being so far away and trying to schedule somebody to open the house because there was no rentee in there at the time when I was trying to get this done. They were very punctual. They’re very helpful, informative, and just overall great.

Todd, the technician that came out, was extremely professional and personable. It was apparent that he took pride in his work, and that all work would be done correctly. He patiently unscrewed what seemed to be 50 different areas in order to get to the the different mechanisms he had to service. Everything that was removed was carefully and neatly placed on paper that he brought with him. The fireplace, which had not worked in the past two years, now functions as it should. However, Todd went the extra steps to clean the glass, replace the firewool, and clean the exterior parts of the fireplace insert as well. As a result, the fireplace looks and works better than it did when I first bought the house 13 years go.

They were on time, thorough, courteous and professional. All questions were answered and they were very neat and tidy. We were extremely satisfied and would highly recommend the company.

Todd called to see if he could come a little early. That worked out well for me. He was personable and professional. Todd explained how the gas fireplace worked. He checked it for leaks, adjusted the gas flow and cleaned the fireplace. I greatly appreciated the information he shared on taking care of the fireplace. I really that appreciate the technician Bill took the time to go through my gas fireplace and explain what needed to be done to help it work better. He also cleaned the glass piece that I thought was too old to come clean. (we are the second owners to our home)

I especially appreciated the fact that Mr. Yeager explained what he was doing and why it was necessary. The thought of dealing with gas and fire is intimidating, however he was very matter-of-fact about exactly which part was needed.

Yeager repairman came out on time, made repairs (adjustments to fireplace) at quoted estimates. Fireplace now works fine. We would recommend this service to others. As a side note, we could not even get a return phone call from the authorized Mendota dealers listed on the Mendota website.

We have a small townhouse insert, and were confused on types of logs, btu, vented or ventless, he provided guidance to make an informed decision. We love it! Looking him up again for more work!

Bill Yeager called me back immediately after leaving a message with his receptionist. We scheduled an appointment - and to the hour - not one of these "sometime between 3 and 5" type things where you wait around all afternoon - and then he showed up 10 minutes early. Bill quickly identified the issue, replaced the part and got everything working just like new. He was quick, professional, knew his stuff and got the job done. He took the time to show me how everything worked and cleaned everything up after the job was done. I would highly recommend him and will use him again in the future.

I called to make an appointment and was able to get an appointment a week later. They do scheduling on Fridays... so if you call earlier in the week, you will get your appointment confirm on Friday for the next week appointment. It wasn't an emegerncy, so I didn't mind waiting. It seems that they are very busy. My appointmentment was around 7pm. He called around 6pm to let me know where he was and the approximate time that he will be at my house. He arrived right around the same time that he had estimated. He came in prepare and make an effort to try to keep the work area clean. Nothing was wrong with my fireplace and he was able to light up the fireplace back up. He cleaned the fireplace and took the screen off which I didn't know I could do that. He cleaned the glass and now my fireplace looks really nice. I had also wanted a remote for the fireplace and he was able to install one for me. He gave me discount on the service since I got the remote and there's wasn't anything wrong with my fireplace.

Our old gas fireplace was not working so we contacted Yeager Fireplace to come take a look at it. Bill Yeager came out and identified the problem and in addition found that gas was leaking from the unit when it was turned off. In discussion with him, we decided to replace the old fireplace unit with a new one. Bill was back with a new, discounted unit within a couple of days. We now have a beautiful new leak free gas fireplace. Bill was very professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. The job was done neatly and efficiently. We highly recommend him.

First rate experience. Mr. Yeager is friendly and very professional. No hidden charges.

We called because our gas fireplace would light fine, but then turn itself off after a few minutes. We figured it was going to be a problem with some safety mechanism. Bill was able to figure out that it was actually our hand-held remote that was malfunctioning and sending a signal to shut off the flame. I never would have identified the remote as the source of the problems in a million years, but he got there quickly and was able to confirm it by removing the batteries from the remote. He was able to sell us a new remote on the spot, so we had a fully functioning fireplace by the time he left! He had warned us that he had a busy schedule and might need to come out late, which was fine for us, and he kept us apprised when several of his appointments ran late that he wouldn't be able to make it until after 9pm. He offered to reschedule, but we were still happy to have him come because we have young kids so it worked with out schedule after the kids went to bed. We were surprised he was still willing to come that late. Despite the hour, he was still in good spirits and worked quickly and efficiently. Our fireplace has worked well since then, and we will definitely use him in the future.
