His work was excellent

They came out and gave us a very thorough estimate of all the proposed work. Compared to other estimates received and talking to the inspector I felt very confident they knew where professionals and that they knew what they were doing. The original estimate came in at $2700 for all the work (tile, drywall, plumbing, etc). We had to wait four weeks for them to begin work but I took it as a positive sign (be weary of a contractor with no wait list). They called ahead of time and come out when promised. Anthony came in did the majority of the repair work. They spent a great deal of time trying to find the leak. Surprisingly they could not find one! They repaired the shower tiles and resealed all the shower fixtures. They left the ceiling open (covered by a cap) to check on the situation after we started using the shower again. After two weeks they came back and reinspected the work, there were no signs of leaking or water as before so they closed up the ceiling. Happily the cost was considerably less than estimated, only $1400. While still a lot of money I am confident that we won't have anymore leaks from the shower. In many ways the shower and tile work looks brand new.

Removed all fixtures to the bare walls and floor - excellent craftsman found for each place of work. Courteous, pleasant, good listeners.

Worker on time - very professional - explained job to be done - excellent job - short period of time.

He went into great detail with regards to possible costs and helped in our decision not to buy the property.

Very well. Spratto employees are experts at their job. They do a fine professional job and often make suggestions and solve problems. We have complete confidence in them.

I did not contact the neighbor. The lady that answered the phone asked me for my address and telephone number, prior to the person doing the job could answer my question about the job. She wanted to know how long have I lived in the house, and how old is the home. In my opinion I can understand the question about how old is the house, but how long have I lived there?

It went great - the estimate was a little over what actually needed to be done. Everyone who came to the house to give the estimate or do the work was professional & I felt safe having them in the house. The work was done efficiently & everything was cleaned up perfectly. I think the price is a little high for the work, but the peace of mind that comes with having professionals in the house who are going to get the job done right is worth it.

We first called to recieve our estimate for closing off my fopen foyer so it was usable space on the second floor. They arrived on time and took measurements of the area, they got back to us within a week with the estimate. We also had received 3 other estimates and they were right in the middle, so pricing we felt was accurate and fair. They started the project on Wed 9.4.13. Arriving at approx 8:15am. Darrell explained the entire scope of the project to Anthony, who was the person assigned to do all work on my home. They were on time each day for the most part, give or take 15min. Anthony thouroughly cleaned my home every day before he left. Anthony did a PHENOMENAL job on all the work he did. He paid attention to the most minute detail and made sure everything was completed above and beyond my expectations. He took his time to answer any/all questions I had. He was a very hard worker and my home looks fantastic thanks to him. The work took a total of 4 business days (completed on 9.9.13), which in my opinion was a proper amount of time. My interaction with Dave (production manager) was limited at best. I did feel that Dave wasn't as customer oriented or in tune with my needs or the project as much as he should've been. But this can be somewhat accepted seeing as that the project itself was completed timely and properly and the work was EXCELLENT and that's what matters. I would not hesitate to call them back when we decide to do our deck and kitchen. I highly recommend them!

We need a LOT of work - Roof, siding, decks etc. etc.- The lady on the phone had a bad attitude - And advised did not work on modular homes - Surely a roof is a roof?? About to spend a lot of money with someone else!!!!!

We decided not to do the work. He was a busy guy. When he said he would be out here, he scheduled it. I would get a quote from them in the future.

Steve came to the house to review the various requests, walked through each and discussed different options. He was willing to come twice, the second time was Friday evening due to my travel schedule. Very accommodating. Was more then willing to provide estimates for the 'wish list" in addition to those items we knew were going to proceed with. Install team arrived on time, cleaned up after themselves each day, were very personable and seemed to really care about their workmanship. They were very willing to work with us closely to make adjustments as we went along, inclusive of my rather neurotic review of the back splash installation. Work was complete in a relatively quick manner and the over all price was competitive. One of the best things Steve did was in the initial process when he provided a guide to how to evaluate a contractor, things to look and ask for along with Trade Licence, references, warranties, Bond, etc.... He has been in the business for a long time and obviously is very interested in the customer understanding the difference between a quality contractor and the "fly by night, cheap quote" version that can make a bad reputation for the industry.

Steve Spratt actually referred me to to someone else and that was a plus in my book. I'd rather have a contractor refer me than try to fix something he either didn't have time for or couldn't fix. I'd call Steve Spratt for other things if I needed to.

The company made a contract for me. They arrived every morning on time. They let me know when they would be leaving and kept me advised on what was going on. They cleaned up after their work every day. They were very professional and I was happy to have them in the house.

When I first noticed these problems, they came out and said that it would take a couple of hours to do. I already had the wood planks for the floor, so he said that they had a handyman that could come out for a lesser amount. I called another company that was wanting to replace the entire floor, and was going to charge me for 8 hours of work. They seemed to know how to fix the floor effectively. They kept me up to date on when they would be here to do the work. They were able to get the work done between 1-2 hours. There were two workers that came and they were very knowledgeable and polite. I would definitely use them again, and have already recommended them to a neighbor of mine. There were some projects that they could not do, but they gave me some recommendations on who to hire.

They were on the pricey side but worth the cost. They were very punctual and we would use them again in the future.

Their workmanship and professionalism were excellent, and they were just dependable. They were here every day for six weeks. They were very dedicated. The owner, Steve called today, just an hour ago, even though this didn't have anything to do with him, because we had a faulty microwave delivered. He just called and asked if he could do anything, to let him know. It was just nice of him to call and check. We knew in advance that they were in the top 25% as far as price goes, but we also knew that they earn their money, so their pricing was excellent. They were very punctual and they were here every morning at 8 o’clock.

I had a very good interaction with him and he was extremely professional but I chose to go with someone else. I would definitely use him in the future for this type of work. His price was about 20% higher than the other company I chose, but he seems like a great guy to work with.

They were extremely reliable. They showed when expected. They were polite and did a great job.

Steve Spratt Home Improvements is a great company with an excellent staff. I could not say enough. They recently helped us put in a pump for a lady that was living with no water because she couldn't afford a pump. It really makes me proud to know there are still great Americans out there helping each other out, and that is not all about the dollar. Thanks Steve Spratt Home Improvements for restoring my faith in humanity.
