Absolutely Beautiful! So far very happy but only 3 weeks old.

The work was okay but the time they took three times more than committed time. They always had excuses, Beside they move my sprinkler pipe to make the sidewalk but they broke the underground pipe and sprinkler head, Once I found out they promised to fix it but after 2 months they told me it's not their fault. Also the stone they put on patio wall came off within 6 months, they came to replace it though, Overall they are not a good company and I will never use them or suggest anyone to use these people.

Scheduled an appointment a week out for an estimate. I left work early to meet the Contractor. Five minutes before the appointment, I received a call that he was stuck on a job and needed to reschedule. Unsatisfactory!

Fantastic, made minor changes as they went along to avoid a drain system. Workers and Management were above the competition and from this job they were able to pick-up additional jobs within the development. Also, they were added and/or suggested to the approved Contractor's List.

Poor customer service! You can never get them to show up for a simple estimate. They cancelled twice explaining a problem at a job site which I completely understand, but when you reschedule for a third time and never show up and don't even bother to call is totally unacceptable! At least I know, this is NOT a company I would want to deal with. I'll definitely take my business some place else.

Work was completed to the front to the house. The walkway was replaced and looks very nice, however the minor work done on the porch needed to be corrected. Even being still under warranty I could not get anyone to return to look at the problem. Not very good follow-up. UPDATE AS OF 8/22/2016: Follow up work completed, satisfied with the results. (Changed Overall Grade and Professionalism from a "C" to a "B")

Daniel was very professional and showed up on time. He showed lots of different examples and was very patient, as my spouse had lots of different options to choose from. After getting our estimate, we let Daniel know that we had one more estimate to get and instead of being persistent, he was very understanding, and told us to give him a call if we decided to go with his company. We got a total of three quotes and no one beat his price. Actually no one came even close. We were very pleased with their work and even recommended my co-worker and another family friend. They were also very pleased and also mentioned that he (Daniel) gave very good prices that the competitors could not beat. We are planning to add onto our patio soon, as well as adding a fire pit.

They did such a great job on our patio that we had them add stamped concrete to sides of our driveway. Their team is professional, knowledgeable and very detail oriented. The owner, Daniel, ensured that we were 100% satisfied.

Mr. Garcia was friendly and walked us through all of our options and answered our questions. We signed the agreement and provided half of the funding. He asked to take the sink so they could have it properly fitted in the shop. He missed the first agreed to deliver date. His excuse was, they had broken one section while cutting the hole for the sink. They missed the second delivery date. On the third attempt they showed up with six sections of counter, unfinished, with no holes cut. They piled them up in my backyard and stated there would be another group coming to install. We phoned and emailed the company. They have not responded. The reason I did not make these myself was to avoid the mess of finishing them in my basement. They still have my new sink as well.

The crew began work promptly and worked hard to finish the job. Majority of the work was done on the first day and there weren't any issues. We changed the scope of work a couple of times after the project started and Daniel and the crew were able to accommodate all of our requests. The end result was very nice and we cant wait use the patio this summer!

American Custom Hardscapes was great to work with, fast service, quality work and cleanup after. We now have a great looking stamped concrete driveway with an antique brick look. Because of the extremely cold weather they did have to come back and fix the sealant, but they were easy to work with and made everything right. Cant count on the weather when having concrete work done but you can count on Daniel and his crew to make things right

The crew did an outstanding job!! The design was exactly what we wanted and the crew completed all the work in a timely fashion. Also, the walkway leading from the patio to the front of the house was a recommendation by the company representative, Dan Garcia - and it was an excellent idea!! We are very pleased with the outcome of the work and highly recommend this company.

It went well overall. Daniel was very responsive. He called to follow-up and sent a crew out on a Saturday to finish some landscaping. The quality of the sidewalk is very good including reinforcing it with rebar.

Everything went well clean up was good workers were great everything came out super could not complain at all

Excellent work...They were a pleasure to work with, very professional, on time and delivered exactly what we wanted right down to the shade of color we wanted. We "live" on our patio. Love it!!!

The were on time, courteous, and professional. They stayed each day until it was a good spot to stop. Daniel came by each day to check on the project. It came out beautiful. I appreciated that they widened the path after planning it out since that is what Daniel and I had discussed.

Build-out was done with the Owner (Contractor) visiting the site continually through the process. He addressed my concerns and/or comments as they came up. Workers were very competent and friendly/helpful. I made a few changes as they moved along and they responded to my requests with the owner's approval. Overall, this was a Great addition for our home. Many of our neighbors visited the site and I see American Hardscapes getting additional work from within our development. We are very happy customers and thanks again Daph and Pat

This was a big project and after receiving several quotes we chose American Custom Hardscapes, because Daniel offered the best design, while remaining affordable. The design process truly was custom- Daniel listened to our needs and drew out the project to scale, while we flipped through examples of past projects and selected finishes. We already had a high level of confidence in their work having seen other projects finished by them in our neighborhood, so that also made the decision a little easier. My neighbor and I decided to get our patios done at the same time and there was a crew of 8 workers between the two houses with both projects (my neighbor had landscaping done as well) taking 4 days to complete. The crew showed up routinely each morning, were very polite and worked at least 8 hours. Daniel, the owner, was on site each morning, making sure everyone was squared away and would stop by through out the day. Daniel was great to work with- I made a last minute modification to the design, which he handled with ease and he was reachable when I had questions. The finished product is better than what we envisioned- truly fantastic. The crew took great pride in their work and really paid attention to detail. They left the site very clean; our lawn stayed in tact and there was no debris left behind. A few weeks later, Daniel followed up with us to make sure we were satisfied. Great experience and would highly recommend.

It went perfectly. They arrived. Worked hard and finished. Because of landscaping issues with our land , they will be back to do a sitting wall and a couple of stairs. Have recommended them to everyone. Neighbor after seeing our patio, is having them do his. Highly recommend. Very satisfied with the result and the interaction with the company and Dan.

there are new updates: Be aware of this business. very unprofessional business. all kinds of promises and nothing to deliver. after delaying the promised start of the job time/date by about 4 weeks now, Daniel (the owner) said he would start the job on March 25th. I took off from work so that I can be home when they start the job. however they were no show on 25th of March, and the 26th, nor did they show up on the 27th of March. All my calls went with no answers and so did my email. on the 3rd day (the 27th), Daniel called and said he had lost a few guys but then he had hired a few new ones. He promised he would start next day (March 28th). again I took off from my work to be home to get them started. Next day, I received a text message from him, telling me that he was sick and that they could not start my work on 28th of March. Its important to note here that when he called me on the 27th, when I talked, he sounded fine and not sick. Friday, Saturday, Sunday came and I never heard from them since. Its now the 7th of April and I do not have any calls or emails or text from this company, regardless of how many time I have tried contacting them. this behavior has been like this since the moment I contacted them. we had purchased 14 trees that are being delivered by this Friday (April 10th) so that they could be planted in our backyard. that's because the original work was promised by Daniel to be completed before the last week of March. Now the trees are arriving and the work is not even started on our backyard. this is a big mass. it took me an hour to agree with Daniel cost proposal. it took me a minute to write a deposit check of #3100 dollars. it took Daniel 1 day (next day) cash out my deposit, even though he was supposed to cash the deposit before he starts work. That's was all by every Feb,02, 2015. We have been waiting since that time for Daniel to start this work and now over the last several weeks he is no where to be find. I start legal process with Stafford courts (Civil) on Thurs April 9th. and will be hiring attorney to handle this. I wanted you all to be aware of this business and how unresponsive they have been. the best part of this is in the agreement Daniel and I signed he states he guaranties the work for one year. SURE. Latest, Daniel has refused to return my money. Daniel has not responded to any of my communications to bring back my money of $3163 (now include cost for my court filings) for the work he never performed which by the way it was to start March 15th 2015. I have now filed with the Stafford District Court and also notified Stafford Sheriff office as well as Daniel Corporate lawyer. According to Sheriff office I had to notify them Daniel and corporate with a registered mail of my concern and asked them again to return my money, which I did yesterday. Also, yesterday 4/15/2015 I hired another contractor (not the American Custom Hardscapes) who is going to start and finish my patio.

Daniel came out promptly upon initial call and drew a nice picture of what he planned to do and gave a quote of $2000 which he stuck to. He found some brick that was a close match to our 20 year old brick. Once he started work, we had a usable walkway within about three days. The brickwork took longer due to bad weather but all work was done within about a week. His team did a very nice job. It looks great.

The whole experience wasn't super. The concrete he installed cracked and it was hard to get him to come back and make the repairs, but he eventually did. He was pleasant about doing it and so far the concrete is holding up through winter so hopefully it will continue. The amount of time it took to get in contact with him was absurd. We signed our contract in February and weren't able to get any work started until May. He never contacted us to let us know that their schedule was behind, it was only after multiple calls that we were informed what was going on. Since we had already paid half our deposit, we were stuck waiting on him. Lesson learned on how to handle contract negotiations in the future. He also lost out on work from our neighbor because he was too slow to return our neighbors call.

Daniel and his crew are nothing short of spectacular! Daniel has a master mind when designing projects. We had plenty of questions and changes to our project throughout the process and Daniel was more then pleased to assist. My wife and I were very picky during this project, almost to the point I could see it being annoying. We were very nervous as this was our first major upgrade to our home. Daniel was very accommodating and even changed the color of the concrete for us right before the concrete was poured. The feeling I got from Daniel is that he genuinely wants to make his customers happy. Our front stoop and walkway look amazing! American Custom Hardscapes are masters of their trade and deliver an outstanding product! We will certainly be using their services in the future.

I first heard about this company thru a friend who was having a deck installed and American Hardscapes was doing the patio. At the time, the work had not yet been performed. I contacted the company and Daniel came out to meet with me on June 27th. I questioned him about his negative rating on the BBB. He provided a plausible explanation so I decided to give him a try. After we discussed the detalis of my project, he said that he would have a proposal for me in a couple a days. I did not hear back from him so I contacted him a week later. He expressed surpise that I did not have the proposal. He mentioned that his secretary was supposed to have emailed it to me. He was on the road at the time that I called but stated he would be in the office in an hour or so and would personally email the proposal to me then. I never received the proposal or heard from him. At this point, I was definitely turned off by his lack of customer service. However I saw my friend's work and based on the quality was convinced to give him another try. I contacted Daniel on Monday, August 18th. Again he expressed surprise that I didn't have the proposal. He stated that he thought I had it and was taking my time reviewing it. I reminded him that he was supposed to email it to me when I spoke with him July 3rd. Since it seemed to be an issue to email the proposal, I asked if he could drop it by. He stated that he would be by between 2:00 pm- 3:00 pm that same afternoon. I still have not heard from him or received a proposal. Obviously he has more than enough business and is not concerned about the lack of customer service/professionalism he is exhibiting, at least to me. I would have thought more highly of him if he had just initially said that he either didn't want my business/money or was too busy to get to me.

Mr. Garcia came back and took care of the problem that we were having with our patio and, he stayed until we both were sure that the issue was resolved.
