Great. Plumber diagnosed the non-plumbing problem.

Tony and Teen arrived on time (Aug 8, Arlington/Clarendon) and prepared for the work I had called in the week before. They quickly assessed the necessary work/scope, then provided me different options and costs for each. After I had a chance to review the proposed options I selected the option/approach they quickly began work. After clearing the faulty equipment and infrastructure they installed the replacement gaskets, flanges, pic, etc. The repairs brought the house to better than new condition. The did a remarkable amount of work in a short time and then cleaned the work area extremely well. Both plumbers were professional and courteous through the whole process. I recommend this company for plumbing work and will hire them again when I need a plumber.

Highly professional, informed expert plumbers Liam and Tomey. At every step they explained what they were doing and options for installing. We went with the least expensive option, but further upgrades were available. Tomey gave us advice about using the faucet and offered tips to keep our garbage disposal going. Very experienced.

Their customer service team is exceptional. We called on a Sunday to arrange for an appointment ASAP on Monday. They called back to arrange for a plumber as they said they would. Unfortunately, another service sent a tech at the same time without telling us, so Plumbing Dr. did not end up doing the work. But we would absolutely hire them in the future!

It went well. Appreciated that the plumber put on booties to cover his shoes when walking in the room.

Great. My main sewer line was clogged by roots. I asked three plumbers in evaluate the job and give me options and estimates. Two said I had a broken sewer line, which was in a difficult place to reach. The job was estimated to cost about $14,000 and they would need to destroy my front yard, basement floor and wall in the process. Costs for repairs for yard, wall, and floor were going to be in addition to sewer repair. The Plumbing Dr said the same thing but they added there was a chance a small root entered through a joint in the line without a break. One option they proposed was to thoroughly clean the line of roots (the first plumber was supposed to have done this but did not do a complete job) and then take a better look to see if the line was broken. If it was not, then the line could be treated with a root repellent once a year to keep roots out for a few hundred dollars. Plumbing Dr cautioned if there was a break in the line they'd need to take the more expensive approach other plumbers recommended. Plumbing Dr did remove the roots, found no break, and was able to fix the problem much cheaper than others. Then they cleaned the line, which I'm sure had never been done. I appreciate their help averting a disaster.

Excellent - customer friendly, professional, and gave us all the options. Solved the problem using top quality parts and Dr. Jason was outstanding in every way.

Doctor Charlie was simply AMAZING. Backed up sewer line (YUCK) into a 70 year old house, and at 10PM on a Saturday night, Charlie was still smiling, cracking jokes with us and working his snake down the pipes like a virtuoso. The costs were more than reasonable, and our problem was cleared up in a couple of hours, and he left the place spic and span. Highly recommended.

Dr. Jason came to our home 15 before our scheduled appointment to be sure he was ready for our schedule water "turn off" at 9am. He worked to get everything prepared so he could replace our valve as quickly as possible. When the water still wasn't turned off my 9:30, he decided to look for an alternative solution so we wouldn't have to wait around for Arlington County to do their part. He fixed our valves and noticed another issue and asked if we had any trouble with our sink draining. In fact, for 3 years our sink would fill up when rinsing dishes and we would to run the garbage disposal almost the whole time. He took it upon himself to discover the issue and try a few things before deciding if the drain needed to be snaked. He was able to fix the problem for the lowest cost option because he took the time to test out all of the possible causes instead of moving right to the most expensive option. Dr. Jason was respectful, punctual, courteous (today was incredibly rainy and he made sure to dry his boots off several times and wear shoe covers in our home) and very sweet to my 11 month old daughter who wouldn't leave him alone and continued to wave at him whenever given the chance. I highly recommend The Plumbing Dr and most certainly Dr. Jason to fix any plumbing related problem in your home!

Jason called prior to arrival and arrived when he said he would. Jason was professional, informative, and neat. He explained and showed me every step of the way in his video inspection of the sewer line. Another company recommended replacing the line at a tune of approximately $25,000. This action would also require hiring a structural engineer, and masonry company to rebuild steps. Jason's recommendation, based on his video inspection, is to treat the sewer with root elimination. Our family is so thankful that we don't have to incur this large expense at this time.

Toney arrived on time. He inspected the problem. Then he propsed a solution and upgrading the piing near the PRV up to the current code, which include a new and another extra shutoff valves. Obviously the new PRV and shutoff valve looks much better than my old stuff. He offered my a list of options and prices which I thought to be on the high side ( I may change this after I check with my neighbors). After 3 hours of work, he finished. I see that the the new pipe is shiny and new valves are easy to play and he give me a pressure gauge for free, which I like. The quality of work seems to be high, and I hope it will last for 20+ years. Toney then cleaned up the work area and walked me how to operate the new stuff. In the end he offered me 10% discount for this job because I am a teacher, and 10% coupon any future problems. Buttom line: The problem is solved in a timely manner. So, what else can I ask for?

Charlie diagnosed the problem in about 30 seconds and told us what it would take to fix it--2 parts which he installed within 45 minutes. He also gave us some advice on how to fix a slow drip we didn't even realize we had under a sink--something we could easily do on our own if it happens again. Dr. Charlie was great and we'd have him back to fix future plumbing problems.

The leak was repaired promptly and everything was clearly explained. Toney was on time, polite and tidy

Every thing looks great, we tested it & he showed me what was done. This is the second time Toney has been here, he is very friendly & knowledgeable. Can explain the problem & solution in clear & concise manner. I have had many services in this house, Toney is the type of person I would seek out no matter where he works. Very rare to find someone with his personality & skill level, also feel comfortable with him in the house with kids. Very happy with him.

I will update once they come and finish the job I need. "I needed to replace two old toilets and my kitchen faucet. The Plumbing Dr sent Jason and Jared and I was very pleased with their work. They discovered some other plumbing issues when installing the kitchen faucet, and fixed them as well as part of the overall price agreed to before staring the job. The job took longer than expected, but they were extremely thorough to ensure the job was done high quality and correct the first time. I am very pleased and The Plumbing Dr is now my go to company for all my plumbing needs." The cost was $3800, and I give them a grade of A overall and for all categories. The technician, Charlie, showed up on time, was very friendly and asked me what my issues were. He inspected the new faucet and underneath my kitchen sink. Upon his inspection and further review, he said that I needed new pipes and a couple of other items in order for the sink to work properly. I felt that he was being honest with me and not trying to rip me off, because he gave them to me as options, and I could have said no. In the end the cost was more than I originally planned, but I felt that Charlie did a really good job. The work took about 3 hours, but I am very pleased.

When quite smoothly. Service call made in morning but no one would be home until a specific time a bit later. Tech called withing 5 minutes of time told someone would be home and arrived about 15 minutes later. Problem remedied with superior professionalism and promptly.

They were prompt, polite, and very competent. All options, prices, warranties were explained clearly. Once I chose the plan for repair, they walked me through the plans. After installation of pressure valve, showed me exactly how to use and adjust as necessary. They were clean & did not leave any mess behind, which I have had a problem with in the past. I am having them fix fixture outside in near future

They are scheduled to to replace the faucets later this week.

My attempts at a do-it-yourself went awry. Saturday evening and "Dr Larry" arrived to the rescue. Nothing sounds so wonderful than water draining swiftly. Pricey, but received a senior discount.

Larry Dunn from The Plumbing Doctor was an incredible help to me and my family when he came to my home to diagnose and repair a burst pipe when the property was not occupied and we were out of town. Larry did a fantastic job, helped by providing a detailed description of the situation, photos and excellent follow up care in dealing with insurance. We had Larry and Marlon out to replace some old water lines after we replaced the existing kitchen cabinets and appliances. We also added a new gas line for an upgrade to a gas range. Dr. Bill (the owner) originally came out for our estimate, and we learned a lot from him. Overall we were very happy with the Plumbing Dr - they called 15 minutes ahead and came exactly when they said they would on the days they came to our house. Once inside our house, Larry and Marlon were careful to lay down floor protection and wore booties - both avoiding damage while they worked as well as cleaning up any mess after they were done. Apart from all that, their work was high-quality and they did it all with a can-do, cheerful attitude and answered our questions whenever we had them. When we had a scheduling issue after our appliances were backordered, Tracy in the office was also great to work with - flexible and responsive (and nice!). Safe to say, I hope we don't have any plumbing needs in our future - but if we do, they are our first call.

The installation went fine. Unfortunately, this company is into price gouging. A disposal that retails for $80 was installed for a total price of $421.00 plus service call for $68.00. I called the office the next day and conveyed my displeasure and offered to pay $350. We settled for a total charge to my credit card of $358.00

All went extremely well. The results and especially the attention to detail exceeded my expectations. Larry was extremely professional, customer oriented, and very focused on doing an excellent job. His assistant, Jared, was also attentive and focused on doing an excellent job. For now on, The Plumbing Dr will be my "go to" place for plumbing services.
