The Plumbing Dr

Mike L and Lloyd came out promptly and were extremely professional and courteous. When faced with a difficult situation in the line they improvised and kept trying until they were able to carry on with the job. I am very grateful for their efforts and truly appreciated their helpful attitudes and friendly personalities. I would recommend the Plumbing Dr - and Mike L. and Lloyd specifically - to anyone.

Notified scheduler we had a clogged drain pipe between the 1st and 2nd floor. Requested worker to ensure they arrived able to fix. For $65 they confirmed our diagnosis, and then had a starting price (yes, minimum service) of $1000 to blow it out!! I know plumbers are expensive, but the Plumbing Dr. is an appropriate name, as their hourly rate is about 2-3X what a Dr. would charge to save my life!! I would not recommend calling them for anything.

Wish to commend strongly our plumber, Dr. Charlie, who has often been a savior in many ways. He is not only knowledgeable and efficient, he is quick to explain the situation, the problem causing the situation and to explain the solution, with options on the solution. FWIW, we have used Dr. Charlie for many years as we have complete trust and confidence in his professionalism.

Had a burst valve on hose bib which required me to turn off the main water supply in order to stop it water going all over the yard. I called the Company at 8 AM the next morning and Mechanic, Brandon, was at my house before 11 AM. He took the time to explain the situation and my options well. He was very patient with my 4 year old son who wanted to see what was going on. He was able to fix the problem within a couple of hours and took the time to show me how to winterize my hose bibs. He even brought my recycling bin from the curb into the garage and closed the garage door upon leaving. I was very impressed with his attention to customer service and feel I received valuable service for the price. I will be using this Company in the future! Thank you, Brandon!

Extremely well. Dr. Charlie disassembled the hardware and reinstalled it, resolving our problem in the process.

Fantastic - Dr. Charlie came out the Sunday before and determined our hot water heater was on its last legs. It was more than 10 years old. He discussed options. We made an appointment for 5 days later to install a new hot water heater. (earliest we could get since it was an all day job). Charlie and team called to let me know they were on their way. They were professional, efficient and did a great job. It tool all day. Then Dr. Charlie showed me his work. He tagged all the faucets/important knobs so we now know where things are. He explained the prominent features and then handed me everything we needed (references, receipts). I highly recommend Charlie and the whole Plumbing Dr team.

My hot water heater broke on Christmas Eve. The owner explained how to turn off the water and the gas on the phone. He was very helpful. They had a tech on site within the hour. Mike L was my tech and he was very professional and efficient. They did a great job and explained everything.

Friendly, knowledgeable, patient technician (Dr. Charlie). And we were able to get him on a Saturday with no advanced notice too.

Dr. Daniel was prompt, professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. Provided full explanation of available options. Work was performed very efficiently. Very satisfied.

Very well. Lloyd and Mike L. called ahead of time; used cover ups on their shoes; and provided/explained options for handling each issue. They completed the work in the stated time frame and were very thorough. Everything is in good working order now.

Dr. Charlie and Dr. Drew were great! Very informative and clearly knowledgeable. These folks will definitely be my 'go to' for plumbing needs.

I recently had a rather urgent plumbing issue with the bathroom sink that needed to be addressed. I called the Plumbing Dr based on the high grade in Angie's List. First thing the next morning Brandon and Drew called me to get more details about the problem, and they arrived shortly thereafter. I also had an issue with the toilet which I didn't consider to be urgent but I decided to have them diagnose and fix that problem too since they were already at my place. At every step in the process I was presented with the options along with the cost of each option so there were no hidden costs. They were very professional and the quality of the work seems to be very good. I would certainly use the Plumbing Dr again and would recommend them to anyone who needs a plumber.

The service men informed us that additional parts were needed to repair the third toilet and that we needed to call the “office” to follow up and schedule an appointment . I called the office the next day, the person I spoke to knew nothing of the additional parts needed and told me she’d call me back. She never called back. I called her back, she had done nothing and didn’t even remember the need for additional parts. Again she said she’d call me back. She never did. I called her back and the same scenario ensued. There was complete apathy on her part. I was trying to give them business and they didn’t want it. Horrible follow through and lack of professionalism. Stay away from this company- there are several others that can be trusted.

Dr. Charlie was great- punctual, professional, quick work. Plumbing Dr is easy to communicate with as well.

Excellent service. We just noticed this morning that a small jet of water was spraying out of a leak in the pipe coming up from our sump pump; slowly but steadily soaking the surrounding floor. The Plumbing Dr had previously installed the pump three years and no warranty applied at this point. A plumber (Mike) arrived within just a few hours on a Sunday and fixed the leak quickly. The diagnostic rate should have been $250 just for the visit, but Mike charged us a total of $68 after conferring with company HQ. Fantastic customer service that ensures I will call Plumbing Dr the next time I need service. A+

Mike L was my service technician and I found him to be very professional and knowledgeable. The Plumbing Dr provides a tiered list of repair options starting with the "band-aid" repair up to the highest category which provides a longer warranty and more extensive repair. The band-aid repair (which to me seemed more than a band-aid) was enough for me and it fit into the timeframe I had for the morning. I appreciated that there was no hard sell to choose a higher category. Mike visually checked other pipes in the same area as the repair and made some recommendations, and he also checked my water pressure and made a recommendation based on that. I thought the prices were comparable, if not slightly lower than other companies I've used. I will definitely use The Plumbing Dr again.

Another win for the Plumbing Dr., with great work from Dr. Charlie. Started with what I thought was a minor leak in the drain pipe under the kitch sink, which he diagnosed as something potentially more concerning (an issue with an old pipe, not just the connection). He clearly explained what he was going to do to figure out the issue, and why these problems develop (in older copper pipe). He then fixed the problem quickly and professionally (including some bonus adjustments to the faucet), and gave helpful tips for maintenance. These guys are my new go-to plumber. . .

Mike of the Plumbing Dr went over all my options before starting work on 4/19/19, very up front, which I like! He had to knock out some of the splash wall to get to the nipple/joint where the leak was located, which I expected he'd need to do. He quickly found the leak. Since I have an older house, the specific part had to be ordered, but he put on a temporary fix so the leak was very minimal and put in a jury rig so any leaking would go right into the sink. Worked fine! He returned with the part on 4/25/19 to install it and all leaking was gone! This is the second time I've used the Plumbing Dr and I continue to be very pleased with them! I won't go to anyone else for my plumbing needs.

The technician, Brandon, did a super job. As he worked he explained the process to me and answered a lot of questions I posed. He also pointed out potential problems I might face. As I watched him work, it was obvious he knew what he was doing and when I need plumbing services in the future, I will request he be the technician.

I sent in an Angie’s List email request to see if someone would be available to come out and do a quote. It was later in the day when I sent it in. I didn’t get a response and anxious to try and get multiple estimates, a little later, I followed up by phone. They were polite and professional but not able to come out and do an estimate until Friday and that would not work for what I needed. I already had water running down the street and a soggy yard. However, I give them high marks for having a live person to answer the phone and try and assist. Thanks!

Mike and Charlie were prompt, professional and without having to ask for it, were gracious enough to provide us with a Military/Veterans Discount. Their work was diligent and they were super professional. We will be using The Plumbing Doctor in the future...

Determining that the pipe needed to be moved took a while. Although I told them where the old pipe was, they were digging in the wrong spot. Once they found it, things went well. The sump pump and temporary pipe went in in June. The permanent rerouted pipe was done on a second visit.

The service person was friendly, profressional, clean and efficient. Reasonable price. Would definitely hire again.
