Both projects went well. Re the hot water heater replacement: Larry and his team were prompt and efficient. They worked hard to complete the job in one very long day. Re the emergency valve replacement on the sewage ejector: the tech came as the snow was beginning to fall previous to this last big snow storm. He was also very competent and efficient. We will continue to work with the staff at The Plumbing Dr.

Jason was awesome. He was courteous and gave us a run down of all the options. In the end he did a through job of replacing our kitchen faucet in a timely manner. I would recommend the plumbing doctor for any plumbing issue.

AMAZING service!! Prior that day I had a Roto Rooter tech at my home to fix the problem and the difference between them and the tech from Plumbing Dr was incredible. Not only the tech from plumbing doctor was polite, professional and friendly but he also came in and immediately started to assess the situation so that he could provide the appropriate service. The plumbing doctor tech even went out to the street manhole to check the sewage going to the street which is something the guy from Roto Rooter couldn't do cause he couldn't even open the lid. At the end of the day I was extremely satisfied with Plumbing Dr service and I would hire them again if I need plumbing service. The moral of my story is...DO NOT hire Roto Rooter...go with The Plumbing Dr.!!!

Charlie was very professional and helpful. He helped trouble-shoot the issues and provided good options. The toilet he installed looks great and I appreciate his staying until we were able to address the problems with the other three toilets, which we endued up completely gutting and replacing all the insides.

I've used The Plumbing Dr. several times and have continued with their services when needed because of my satisfaction to date. There may be less expensive options, but knowing it's done right and professionally makes up for it. They are prompt, courteous, explain all options and reasoning for various choices and there's no pressure to do more than you need or want. Today was my first visit by Dr. Toney, and he's only carried on the satisfied experience I've come to expect from The Plumbing Dr.

I submitted an online request for services on a saturday and within an hour they called me back. The lady on the phone was extremely nice and professional. Over the phone she asked that i try a simple trick of just resetting my disposal (switch under the disposal). It worked! All free of charge. The plumbing Dr. is my first choice for all things plumbing related for sure! Highly recommended!

Company responded quickly (within a couple hours of call), plumbers were courteous and work performed adequately. My problem is in how the options were presented. Plumber started describing "platinum," "gold," "silver," "bronze," and (yes!) "band-aid" levels of service with different prices. I had to tell him to stop and explain to me: What was wrong with my plumbing and how do you fix it? Apparently that was not going to be part of the usual spiel. Turned out much of the platinum/gold/silver level stuff was completely unnecessary. End result is I got the Bronze for about $700. The goal of this entire exercise is to upsell you, and then make you feel good you "only" spent $700 when the Platinum was $1600. The job took 2 guys all of 90 minutes. It verges on a scam. I have nothing against the workmen, but I will never again use a plumbing company that treats its customers this way.

After an initial scheduling difficulty, Dr. David arrived first-thing in the am, quickly diagnosed the problem, and repaired. Additionally, he gave me tips on how to avoid breakdowns, service calls in the future, and recommended a handy-man to help with additional work I need performed around the house. Very reasonable rates, and I was compensated for the initial schedule issue.

Great. Plumbing dr was responsive to online inquiry. I sent photo of problem. They responded and we scheduled work. Plumber arrived on time. Explained work to be done and offered multiple price points driven mostly by extra service and warranty length. I selected services and job was completed in 1/2 hr, doing more than expected due to extra problem uncovered. I would absolutely hire again for more plumbing work. A pleasure.

Dr. Larry arrived on the early side of our "before noon" assigned appointment time. He introduced himself and explained his company's billing procedures and repair options. He then examined our water heater, while consulting by phone with the Navien company service technicians to ensure he covered all relevant checkpoints. Afterward, he gave us pertinent information regarding its operations and trouble-shooting before turning his attention to the bathroom and kitchen plumbing fixtures. Dr. Larry was thorough, polite, efficient, and quite knowledgeable. He used protective covering around the areas where he worked and left no visible evidence he had been here, other than giving us a magnetic business card to put on our refrigerator. Overall, we are quite impressed with The Plumbing Dr., most especially Dr. Larry.

Dr. Charlie was fantastic. He fixed all of the problems which included replacing two kitchen faucets. He came with excellent faucet selections. It took him about 5 hours and he was working non-stop all the time. He even through in a complimentary sink pop-up adjustment. The Plumbing Dr is our go-to plumber from now on.

They put it but they did not tell us that it required an instant hot water heater. But, I'm not completely satisfied because they didn't tell us it required a pump and then they didn't tell us it would require an additional pump. So, the cost is much higher than I expected. It's not finished yet. They didn't tell us everything we needed. They could have researched it better and given us a true estimate right upfront, not come back, "Oh, we need this."

Great job. Dr. David came to the house and replaced the unit (and a couple of aging pipes) in 90 minutes. Very professional service and great attention to detail. Cost more than I anticipated, but the job got done correctly and quickly (and it was my decision as to what level of service/fix we finalized on with no pressure). Setting up the appointment was also very professional and straightforward.

Outstanding visit from "Dr. David." Spent the extra time to make sure he had identified the source of a mysterious leak (he did not stop after the first finding - and turned out there were two issues), came back to make sure everything was right, and happily took care of another minor issue while he was here. Also excellent at explaining what he was doing and why, and the charges were clearly set out in advance. . .and at a very reasonable cost for this area.

There was a lot of confusion but was ok

toilets have had frequent repairs in the last year. The plumber was knowledgeable and gave me different options. He explained and demonstrated things clearly. I opted to get a new toilet. The work was done in a timely manner and they were very neat.

The Plumbing Dr. is awesome! I have had them out several times to address various problems, some emergencies some not. With emergencies they have always had someone at my house within two hours - often faster, and the problems fixed quickly. This time it wasn't an emergency and even so, they were able to fit me in the day after I called. Dr. Charlie and Dr. Tony did a very efficient, super-clean job (you'd never know there had been workers in the house!). One of the things I appreciate most is that everyone that's come out has been really skilled, but also articulate. They always explain their diagnosis clearly and offer a range of options. The plumbers are able answer questions, explain the different options and help me make good decisions about which approach to choose. They never push me into the most expensive solution - instead I have always gotten very honest advice which steered me toward the most affordable solution that would solve the problem and keep it solved. I wish all of the service providers I've tried were so trustworthy, reliable, and professional.

I had someone come out to give me a quote for a leaking outdoor spigot. Paid 68 dollars for a diagnosis (they diagnosed it as a leaking outdoor spigot!) and had the pleasure of being quoted three ridiculously high options. The top option was 700 dollars. Seriously? The quotes were offensive. The lowest option was almost 300 dollars and required that I cut the drywall for access myself. It cost less to have the spigot installed in the first place. Sad to have wasted 68 dollars, live and learn. That said, the guy that came out was friendly.

The serviceman David was very nice and seemed knowledgeable. He examined the situation and before he started the job he showed us our options - they have gold, silver, bronze, etc, etc, levels of service... and a band-aid level. It's a terrible name, obviously designed to keep you from choosing it, but it did include the snaking, which is all we needed. And David promptly agreed with our choice; he was not pushy. He even showed us the coupon page on the plumbing dr website ($30 off), which was a little better then the one at angie's. His work was very thorough, and he did clean up the area well afterwards. I waited a couple of weeks and several laundry loads to post my review, and now I can say I was satisfied. I do think overall they are a little bit on the pricey side. When I first called them, they told me they were going to charge me $60 for the visit, in addition to any service performed, but I argued (many companies skip the visit cost when you agree to the job) and they waived it for me. So, with a little bargaining, the "band-aid" charge and the coupon, I was happy and my pocket was happy. :)

My wife and I are repeat customers with The Plumbing Dr and can't ever see ourselves using any other company for our plumbing needs. We recently needed our kitchen faucet, tub faucet knobs/stems, and a toilet replaced. Charlie and Marlin arrived on time and even called to let us know that they were on their way. Upon arrival, Charlie and Marlin the time to cover their feet prior to entering our home and were both extremely friendly. I went over the issues I wanted taken care of and they both went to work and provided several options for each issue, never once trying to upsell us. We felt Charlie and Marlin were upfront and honest with their assessments and we were extremely happy with the price quoted to us. Upon completion of the work, Charlie and Marlin left their workspace better than they found it and my wife and I were very impressed with their professionalism and kindness. In addition, The Plumbing Dr office manager Tracy contacted us to ensure we were happy with the work and quoted price. The Plumbing Dr is a family run business and it shows with the quality of service and all around care they show for their customers. We will definitely be Plumbing Dr customers for life.

Dr Jason fixed a big leak we had going from outside hose line to inside the house. He is a great guy and very helpful and knowledgeable. We called Plumbing Dr at 7am and Tracy had someone to our house within the hour! So happy we finally found a plumber we can trust!!! Thanks Plumbing Dr!!!

Went very well. David came out the same day we called. He gave us options for the work and once we decided on the basic repair so we could stop the leak, he moved quickly to cut the line, attach and solder the new pipe, and verify that the new line was leak free. We found the leak the evening before at bedtime, as it was above our bed. Going from leak to fix in less than 24 hours made for a very relaxing evening tonight!

The work was completed on time, as scheduled. Jason was wonderful to deal with. I am impressed with the professionalism of the office staff and their responsive customer service. I've used the plumbing dr. on two occasions and would recommend using them to anyone in need of plumbing services.

The camera scoping was done quite professionally and the techician marked where the root blockage was. It was right at the street and he said a fix could cost over $20,000 if the break happened to be under the street but they did not do that type of work. Given the very high cost for the fix I called another company for a second opinion. That company ran a camera and determined the break was not by the street but instead under the basement floor about 70 feet from the street. The second company fixed the break for $2000 and ran the camera back through the line to show all was clear. Given the wrong information from The Plumbling Dr. I request a full refund and they obliged.
