Description of Work: I had a leak in the bathtub faucet in one of our upstairs bathrooms. I called Plumbing Doctor because we'd used them in the past. Megan answered the pone and was very helpful in scheduling a time. Talel came on August 31 as scheduled and repaired the stem in the hot water fixture that was causing the leak. He provided a menu of possible fixe packages, starting at $800 (What? No!) and went down to a little less than $300. Most of the items covered in the more expensive packages was work that did not need to be done in my home. I selected the service that covered repairing what needed to be fixed -- and there was a coupon that saved a little. Unfortunately, Talel did not re-seal the fixtures that he'd taken apart to troubleshoot the problem, something I did not discover until I needed to shower later in the day. | |I called and explained the problem, the Manager was apologetic and responsive. He made arrangements to have a plumber come out and complete the repair. Dave came out later in the week and sealed the fixtures. | |Even though there was a mistake, Plumbing Dr. staff was responsive and corrected it in a timely manner. The package deals that they offer seem to be a bit expensive, though.

Description of Work: "Dr.Matt" quickly identified the source of the upstairs bathroom leak that had seeped through my dining room ceiling and fixed it. He separately repaired a very slow leak in a basement pipe.

Description of Work: Dr. Charlie came out very quickly and unclogged two sinks allowing us to use our kitchen and washing machine. Professional, pleasant, and prompt with a reasonable fee for his work.

Description of Work: Dr Larry performed a complete diagnostic on our Whirlpool tub and also the hot water heater. He was very through, informative, and knowledgeable. We have used The Plumbing Doctor for years. Always dependable and great to work with and reasonable in price.

Description of Work: They were wonderful. On time, efficient and patient. My only hesitation is that I felt they were fairly expensive. Overall, worth it and I used them again for another job

Description of Work: I called Dr. Plumber as I had a leak and I could not tell if it was coming from my pipes or from the condo above me. Sam arrived way before I was told he could be at my home. He immediately knew what the problem was and we spoke with the person living above me to resolve the problem. BTW, this all took place as an emergency call at 9:30 pm. Sam was very pleasant and knowledgeable and told my neighbor what had to be done to fix the problem.

Description of Work: Several pennies jammed our garbage disposal, and we assumed we'd need to buy a new one. Calls to several familiar plumbers in our area (Vienna) resulted in shocking cost estimates for a new Insinkerator and installation - one was for $800. A quick check on the internet revealed that the model garbage disposal we wanted was about $260 retail; and the quote from The Plumbing Doc was the most reasonable - $450 for new disposal plus installation. The technician arrived early in the time period specified - checked out our disposal, disassembled it, removed the pennies, reinstalled the old disposal and it works just fine - total cost to us - about $150. So we had not only prompt, professional, good service from the Plumbing Doc, but he saved us $300 by repairing, rather than replacing, our disposal. Our overall experience was excellent - and next time we need a plumber, we'll call The Plumbing Doc. Five stars.
