At first, we were very happy with our choice to use the Home Doctor to replace our windows. The price was much higher than the other estimates that we had received, however the demonstration and the quality of window that we were shown made us believe that it was worth spending the extra money. On January 3rd, the Home Doctor came to measure for our windows. We were told both at the sales meeting and when they came to measure, that it would be 3-4 weeks for the installation. It has now been 6 weeks and we have not received any information regarding our windows. I called on February 5th for a status update, and was told that they were still in production and that they would ask the factory for a ETD. It has now been 12 days since that phone call and I have yet to receive a return call. While we still look forward to our installation of our windows, the customer service thus far is making it very hard for us to want to refer anyone else to this company. I will update this again after the installation of the windows. Update: Our windows have finally been installed. The installation crew was absolutely fabulous and made quick work of our 7 windows. The quality of the windows has been excellent! While our salesman was not at all someone I would recommend working with, I will say that the regional manager, Phillip, has been quick to answer all of my questions and respond and take action on our problems. We are still wanting to have gutters installed on our house, and we may try again with The Home Doctor, and hope that our experience next time is better. We will have to see what the estimate comes back at.

There were some problems but overall I am satisfied with the work and product. |The first problem related to windows. They do there own measurements to be sure it is correct. However, the windows did not fit well. They were at least 2 inches smaller than the rough window opening. One window came in about a foot too short for which they had to reorder the window. The spaces on the rest of the windows were filled with foam and looked good after the trim was installed. |The second problem related to caulking. They left with several windows missing caulking altogether. They did come back and caulked and re-caulked the windows. |The third problem related to dirty hands all over the walls next to the windows. They did take off their shoes and clean up the floors after installation which we appreciated. |I would use them again but ask them to wear gloves if their hands are dirty. |

On June 2013, my wife and I decided it was time to replace the siding and upgrade the windows, and front door of our townhouse. Part of what we were looking to do was also to get rid of some leaks once and for all. We took about a month to look at a number of contractors when I came across a flyer for The Home Doctor left at the townhouse. By then, I was getting a little discouraged with the contractors. One in particular immediately assumed we would pay the highest price. As I met with that contractor and asked for better pricing, the better price was always at the expense of the product quality to be installed (and the total price difference with the lesser quality products was barely 5%). So, it was fortunate that I was able to consult another contractor. I did not know much about The Home Doctor. After setting up the appointment, I learned that they were a young company looking to establish their business. What my wife and I really liked was that their representative, Phillip, came prepared with sample products, including a small working version of the window they install. He was able to answer our questions. We initially contacted them only for windows, but we found out that the company also installed siding and doors. After explaining our goals to Phillip, he came with a competitive price that was lower than the bid I was previously considered and installing the high quality products as represented by the samples shown to us (including gutters and shutters). That is, there was no quibbling about pricing by using products of lesser quality. We were sold. The installation was done between July and August 2013. The crew that installed the products was superb and very knowledgeable. They were instrumental in making modifications necessary to address our issue with leaks. They also noted other areas that would become trouble spots down the road so we could assess whether to undertake the additional modifications now or later. They were also conscious of our budget as they made some of the additional modifications at no cost to us. They were truly committed to satisfying the customer. Now, you might think that this is a nice thing for me to say about The Home Doctor. It is (well deserved). But, here is the real measure of a reputable company. Something else set this company apart from others. We experienced an electrical issue during the installation that I did not think much at the time. I thought it was only a GFCI outlet that needed to be replaced. I hired an electrician to repair this issue. He ruled out the GFCI and led me to believe that a nail from the siding installation may have damaged a wire. The electrician took 3 to 4 hours of troubleshooting and the best he could suggest is that a nail may have damaged a wire. I asked the electrician to cease in his troubleshooting because he gave me a sense that he did not know what to do next short of removing the newly installed siding. I brought this to The Home Doctor?s attention and they hired another electrician that not only solved the problem in about 2 hours, but also concluded that the problem was a defective GFCI outlet. Clearly, they hired a more skillful electrician. I give The Home Doctor a lot of credit for stepping up in their customer service. Now I have shiny new siding, a door that works, windows that open and close without difficulty. Most importantly, after experiencing some nasty rain and wind, the townhouse has no leaks! My wife is happy, life is good. The Home Doctor wants your business and they will make sure they earn it. They treat their customers well and will work with you to meet your goals. You cannot ask for more.

They installed 28 windows and some gutters for me. I could not have been happier with everything from start to finish. They are very professional, and walk you through the complete process. We had several company's out. They not only stood out with price, but with product and service as well. They mean what they say!

Installation went to perfection. We interviewed a few different companies for this investment. We ended up going with The Home Doctor based on their professionalism, product, and price. They were the right company for us. They also had multiple products to choose from, where other companies did not. They not only separate themselves with price, but the service is A+. We will definitely refer them, and do future business with them.

From my first contact through the installation, the service was great and the work done very well. The timing and products were as promised. There were problems with scheduling due to the extensive rain, but the contacted me as soon as they realized there was going to be a problem and worked with my schedule to find a good time to reschedule. I've had one window replaced by another company and was not pleased with the result. Home Doctor's windows fit perfectly and are a huge improvement over the other one. The installers were keeping me informed as they did their work and did excellent work with the clean up. I have a contract to replace more windows (my budget wouldn't allow me to do them all at once), and I will probably have the rest of the windows in the house replaced in the future with Home Doctor.

Everything we expected plus more! I highly recommend them to anyone that is looking for products they carry. They not only separated themselves from competition with price, but the service and product was well ahead of competition. I will use them again in the future!
