The worker was here before the appointed time and waited patiently to start work. He had a very cheerful and helpful demeanor and did an outstanding job cleaning the roof. It looks like new. He also did a very careful job cleaning the gutters, washing the outsides of the gutter as well as the siding of the house. In addition he did a great job cleaning the brickwalk in front of the house. We are more than satisfied with this job and will definitely engage that company again. It was also a pleasure dealing with the company owner, Mauricio Carvalho. An all-around excellent company.

Marvin showed up right on time and went right to work. He was very polite and very friendly. After the work was done everything looked good but the roof was still wet so I couldn't really tell if all the mildew was cleaned off. The next day I looked and thought I saw a couple of places that had a faint residue of mold. I called and Marvin was right back out to touch up those placed. I don't think you could get a better company to help with cleaning your roof. It was a very good experience.

Mauricio showed up right on time for the estimate and, subsequently, to do the work. We planned to clean just our shingle roof addition in preparation for selling our house, but he suggested considering the slate roof on the main house as well. When we expressed concern about costs, he suggested we clean only the northern exposure surfaces, since those on the south side of the house still looked great. We are so happy that we decided to do both. The difference is amazing; both roofs now look new. He also took care of two chimney caps that were leaning to one side, and even took a spray can of paint with him to paint a few areas of rust on the paint that had come from the chimney caps. Mauricio is friendly, flexible, professional, and a pleasure to work with. Our highest recommendation.

My Homeowner's Association went through the neighborhood and gave notice to homeowners that had noticeable mildew streaks on their roof. I called Roof Real Clean (A rating based on a significant number of reviews). They came to my house the same day I called them, looked over the roof, gave me a price and scheduled the work . They showed up early on the scheduled day and completed the work in about half a day. The roof looks great and the clean up afterwards of the bricks, vinyl siding and surrounding walkways and patios was excellent. Couldn't ask for anything more!

Roof real clean did a fantastic job. Their communication from the very beginning, their prompt service, and the high-quality work that they provided made us happy customers. I also greatly appreciated that they made every effort to clean up after themselves and checked in with us at the end of the job. From the estimate to the completed work - full cleaning of a rambler-style roof including heavy moss removal, flashing replacement and antenna removal - all went smoothly. Mauricio was a delight to work with. He and his crew were meticulous and thorough.

Would highly recommend this company - easy to work with and very responsive! Responded to our request for an estimate very quickly and was able to get us scheduled not long after that. We basically live "in the woods" so had much algae, fungus & moss growing on our roof and parts of the siding on the house. We are not sure if the roof had ever been cleaned by the previous owner so wasn't sure how effective this would be. Well, it looks like a new roof! They did the work while we were not at home but other than the roof and siding being clean, we wouldn't have even known they had been there...cleaned up perfectly and we think they even power washed our front stoop!

Marcicio and his team did a great job in doing this work. They are very professional, know what they are doing, polite and reliable. Readers of this review should know that they do much more that roof cleaning, that is to say, they can do about anything having to do with roofing. We originally hired them to clean our dirty roof, but as it turned out, since they were so good they were able to repair a leak in a skylight, and the other things mentioned above.

All went very well. At the estimate, Mauricio explained the lichen situation on our roof; the cleaning process and the equipment used. All was very professionally done and we will definitely hire them again and for more services.

I just bought 25 year old house that the exterior and roof hadn't been cleaned in years. Especially there are a lot of nasty stains from Algae on the roof and side of chimney. Mauricio gave me a prompt estimate and performed the work extremely well. I'm very satisfied with his job and I had no idea that brick and roof would look like new after being washed. Even my neighbor was so impress that he asked Mauricio to clean his roof. He is very knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend him. He is a man of his word and went beyond what I expected. The 2 techs arrived and explained exactly what they were going to do. They explained that their process would not harm the roof shingles and the products they used were all biodegradable and not toxic to children and pets. I have a lot of trees near my house with branches that protrude over my roof in some places. I hadn't realized how much moss had been growing on my roof where it was in perpetual shade from the trees. I watched from a window as filthy water containing chunks of moss rained off the edges of the roof. These 2 guys worked hard for 4 1/2 hours. I ended up with a roof so clean it looked brand new. They cleaned up everything after themselves, including my front stoop which looked like it had been power washed. Also - I had a vent from a rough-in from the basement (attached to nothing), but it wasn't capped. The main guy (boss?) offered to go to the hardware store to pick up and install a cap if I'd pay for the part. I said yes! He even got a can of black spray paint so the shiny aluminum cap would blend in with the roof. I happily paid for the paint too. I highly recommend this company.

Thank you Roof Real Clean. We are getting our home ready for sale. We replaced the roof about 15 years ago, which means it had 15 years of accumulated stains and mildew. Because of the company's ratings on Angie's List and the Better Business Bureau, I gave them a call. The owner, Mauricio Carvalho, took my call (while looking at model homes with his family) and came by the next day with a price. I told him to schedule the work. He said there was an opening on the afternoon of the following day. When I got home that day, Mauricio, and his men were just finishing up. The roof looks great. In fact, it looks new. I contacted the owner, Mauricio Carvalho, by email to apply a preventative to my roof in Lorton, VA. (We've had this company, Roof Real Clean, come out every year to apply a preventative ever since they cleaned our roof several years ago.) The roof continues to look brand new. It was in bad shape several years ago. They used their cleaning process, it looked terrific, and we contact them every year to apply their preventative, and the roof stays clean. I highly recommend them to others for having their roof cleaned and maintained looking new.

We have a large rear roof and a garage roof whose north sides were plastered with moss clumps as big as my fist. It looked like a sod house up there. Roof Real Clean gave me an immediate estimate and did the work just a few days later. They cleaned my roof, skylights, gutters, the outside of the gutters, and even the mud that the previous cleaner had splashed on the wall. They spent extra time to do the job right. Because the moss was so large, I was concerned for the structural integrity of the roof, but they say it looks fine. The place looks brand new. I recommend them enthusiastically.

The technician arrived promptly as a matter of fact he arrived about 20 minutes early which was fine with me. He began work promptly, I noticed a small piece of tile missing on roofs edge he replaced it. Since I had already had the gutters cleaned the tech power washed my porch, walk way and part of the front of my home which had mildew. I would recommend this company they did what they said they would do and we are VERY pleased, the home was painted approximately three weeks prior to cleaning roof (I was concerned about staining on my paint job) I was assured the clean up would be thorough and complete and it was. Fantastic job overall.

Mauricio Carvalho (the owner) and his crew did a wonderful job! My house looked old and dingy. There were black stains on the roof and the yellow sidling was dirty and green with algae. I was looking for a company that used safe cleaning products and processes so as to not harm all the plants growing around the house. Mauricio assured me the cleaning product he used was safe and even sent me the MSDS sheet to confirm it. The other concern I had was the possibility that the use of that much water (since I was having so much area cleaned) would stress my water well. Mauricio came up with a creative solution for this as well. I am thrilled with the results; the roof and siding look brand new. Everyone comments on how great the house looks now. Mauricio was a pleasure to deal with - very professional and responsive. The crew was very experienced and hard working. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone.

Mauricio responded very quickly to my initial request for service and came out to give an estimate within a couple days of initial contact. He explained clearly how they clean the roof and that it's safe for plants and animals. He was very easy to work with. The day of service was scheduled about 1 week later and went very well. They were neat, efficient and went above and beyond my expectations.

Had roof and siding replaced 15 years ago. Noticed black stains on roof, especially on north facing sections. Green mildew had formed on vinyl siding. Roof Real Clean did an excellent job of cleaning roof and siding in one day. No leaks or damage of any kind noticed afterwards, but siding and roof now look like new. Use of mild detergents had no effect on grass or plants near home. In all, they did careful, excellent work resulting in a significant improvement to my home's appearance. Highly recommend.

The job preformed was excellent. I called to have roof, siding and deck washed. They also washed my barn roof, gutters and stone walkway at no additional charge. They will be my first and only call for all power washing needs in the future.

They came the same day as I called and appeared to do an excellent job, cleaning up after themselves fairly well. Price was a little higher than I have paid in the past, but with same day service, I would NOT complain!

Did a great job of cleaning gutters that are 2 1/2 stories high. But the roof was so stained from sap from trees, he couldn't completely wash it off. But it did make a difference.
