Description of Work: He arrived on time and diagnosed the problem. He offered many suggestions and we decided to have it replaced with a refurbished one. He returned on the day he said he would and installed a new one for the price of the refurbished one. He was very professional and knew what he was doing. He has a good eye for color and design. We are very pleased and will call him again.

Description of Work: We use our microwave a lot. It started turning on when you'd open the door. It was a Saturday, and I was hoping to get it fixed that day. Peaco Appliance Services was able to come out that day. He let me know when he was coming, showed up on time, and did a great job. Also, the repair cost less than I thought it would.

Description of Work: Foreign item got into the garbage disposal from a newly installed dishwasher. Tech found and removed and identified the piece quickly, a "knock-out" piece from the dishwasher drain system which those installers missed. His receipt, and description of the problem on that receipt, when sent to the appliance people, got us a full refund from them on the amount I paid out to Peaco for its good service, and thus a happy ending.

Description of Work: Peaco repaired my washing machine that had a broken timer. While the repair would seem easy for a mechanically skilled home owner, the key part was no longer distributed by Whirlpool. Peaco was able to obtain the part and perform the repair within the agreed upon time frame, and charged a fair price for the parts and service. I have used Peaco for more than twenty repairs over the last fifteen years, and they delight me every service call. Good job, Peaco.

Description of Work: Mr. Okafor came to check intermittent leak on ice maker/water dispenser. He said he couldn't repair unless frig was leaking. I paid $100 svc fee. He said call back and he would come back and fix when leak occurred. When I called back, he quoted a higher price than before (to apparently make up for the svc fee deduction). I was disappointed and called another company who did the work for $200 cheaper.

 + -1 moreI have been using Peaco Appliance Company for about 4 years. I seem to recall looking for an appliance repair person back then and came upon this company in the yellow pages. At the time I selected him because he said he'd be right over. He came quickly and repaired the appliance, I believe it was a dishwasher. Since then Peaco has replaced a range in one house and repaired my range in another place, repaired a refrigerator, a close dryer, a close washer. He's always available. He may need to come late at night, after 9:00pm but he'll be there withing a day to work on your appliance problem. And the quality of his work is top notch. I have never had him return to repair the same thing twice or because he overlooked something.
Description of Work: Diagnosed problem with washer not functioning and why cold water only trickled into the wash tub. Ordered and replaced repair parts. Got washer working again and got cold water function working properly.

 + -1 moreOur freezer stopped working on Memorial Day. My wife checked Angie's list and found this company. She called at 7 am on Tuesday morning and (to her surprise as she was expecting to reach an answering machine) found someone was already there to answer calls. They promised a technician would be there that morning and at 9:30 he showed up. He was very polite, explained what he was doing, worked quickly, and did NOT leave a mess. We were very happy with the work and will hire them again in the future.
Description of Work: Replaced some electronic part that governed the freeze. A quick job done well. Our freezer is back working again.

 + 0 moreWe have used Peaco Appliances for a number of repair jobs and have always found Pius to be honest, reliable, and very committed to doing a job well. When he gives an estimate, he sticks to it. For example, when he was replacing our garbage disposal, he had to run to the store to get other parts due to our old plumbing, but did not charge us for the extra time, or even for the extra parts even when we offered to pay. The price he quoted and charged us was $100 less than that of a plumber we had also called. In the past, Pius has repaired our refrigerator, and most memorably, our oven when it died the day before Thanksgiving. In that case, we called him at 3:00 PM on Wednesday when we couldn't get anyone else to even answer our call, and he came that evening and saved our family holiday. We were very impressed then and continue to be by his level of service.
