Pius does outstanding work. Upon submitting my request he contacted me immediately. I explained the problem and he knew right away what needed to be done an provided an estimate. We set an appointment. He arrived on time as scheduled. Fixed my dad's stove with no surprises and no surprise costs. Right away we liked him and could tell he is honest and trustworthy. Two days later I called him to fix my refrigerator--it was making a loud grinding sound. This time he came over summed up the situation and just like the time before, he told us what it would cost and when he'd have the part. He is professional, knowledgeable and skilled. When he says he'll call you he will. He will not leave you hanging and wondering the status.

My refrigerator freezer was not working, so I called Peaco. Mr. Pius Okofor came out right away after I contacted his service on Friday. He inspected our refrigerator, and mentioned that it could be a simple fix, and would not take extra parts. within a half an hour, he fixed our problem! I was astounded with his knowledge and capability! An outstanding job indeed!

TLDR - would not rehire or recommend to others. Gave a high repair estimate, highly emphasized getting a new refrigerator. Then offered to sell me one. Details Happy about: -Decades of stated experience, appears knowledgeable -Explained the problem as well as the root cause well, but both are dubious...see next section. Quick - he happened to be close by and got to me in 20 mins Not happy about: -Can be or appear rude -Hard to talk to, going on his own train of thoughts and opinions -Looks down upon all other repairwomen/men -Looks down upon you. Scoffed at my meager attempts to fix/diagnose the problem by clearing dust from the condenser and pressing a test button inside the panel -Gave a high repair estimate. compressor, condenser and some kind of pipe cleanup that others don't know is needed -Deal breaker - highly emphasized getting a new refrigerator. Offered to sell me one. That's a major red flag. Got another company to diagnose/fix, just the compressor.

I contacted Peaco Appliance Service for a malfunctioning kitchen Microwave 2 days before Christmas. He came to the house, but unable to fix it immediately because a new part was needed. He provided a microwave to us to use until the part was available. That was an excellent customer service and greatly appreciated. I will highly recommend Peaco Appliance Service for all your electric Appliance repairs.

Here comes Pius again. He fixed my dryer issue 2 weeks ago. This time he came to fix my dishwasher which stopped in the middle of a wash. Pius' knowledge allowed him to quickly identify issues and resolve them to my complete satisfaction.

My dryer made an unpleasant sound while working. Pius came to examine the issue one day and solved the problem during his second visit 36 hours later. He also cleaned the interior of the machine for free. I'm completely satisfied with his professional work.

Pius arrived when promised to appraise. Crucial, not-repairable part had failed. He gave us the option to just remove/disconnect icemaker and use ice-cube trays as it would be expensive to replace. We opted to have him replace it. He ordered a new unit and replaced it today after several attempts to schedule our fault. He was always unfailingly polite & Professional.

He troubleshot the issue over the phone and worked through simple fixes. Problem was resolved and I didn’t have to spend a dime. Great guy and great service I highly recommend

My clothes dryer for some reason started to smoke on May 13, 2022. I called Peaco Appliance and Mr. Pius was able to come the next day. Of course when Mr. Pius arrived there was no smoke. He stated that maybe there was something in the dryer that probably burned. A thorough inspection was performed by removing the back of the dryer and checking all connections. He couldn't find anything and said I was good to go. This is the second time I have used this company and will not hesitate to call again if I need repair work. The dryer is now working properly. Assume owner, extremely rude on telephone. Would not recommend.

Pius was extremely responsive and professional—our stove had a gas leak, and he came out and fixed it on a Sunday night.

It was a great experience working with Peaco Appliance Service. Pius responded quickly and we confirmed a time for his arrival. He was prompt, professional and provided insight into the issue we were experiencing. He was very thorough and shared additional insights that will be helpful in the future. We will definitely leverage Peaco for other projects we have.

First the positives: He was one of only two people who got back to me after I sent out six requests for estimates via Angi, and he got back to me right away (the other respondent got back to me several days later). I called him on a Friday afternoon, and he actually came later that same evening. I was having problems with my washing machine not draining completely during the spin cycle. He immediately ruled out the obvious suspects, and determined that the problem was due to a broken latch on my lid. And sure enough, after he repaired this, the machine worked properly again. I do have to knock of one star, however, because during his initial visit he led me to believe that he would be back in a day or two to complete the repairs, and asked me to pay for the complete repair up front. When I still hadn't heard from him four days later, I called, and he said that he had to order some parts, and that he might be able to get back to me by that weekend. When I never heard from him by that weekend, I called again early the following week, and he told me the part would be in a few days from then. He finally completed the repair two weeks after the initial visit. In fairness to him, he did know that I was able to run my washing machine without the repair, and just needed to repeat the spin cycle, so there was no urgency to getting the repair done quickly. But when he failed to call me after that first few days, I began to wonder if he had simply taken my money and would never return. A simple courtesy call, explaining the delay, would have relieved a lot of unnecessary stress. So kudos for the initial rapidity of response, and for the effective repair. I would just recommend to him that he should take the initiative in keeping his customers informed about the progress of any uncompleted repair.

Pius called me within an hour of quote request. He diagnosed the situation over the phone based on his knowledge of the brand and then provided an honest assessment without charging a fee. Due to age and extend of the problem he did not recommend repairing the washer. If I ever need repairs in the future he will be the first one I call.

I love an honest contractor. I called with an issue related to a dishwasher not heating appropriately. Peaco identified a couple of things I could check myself. I appreciated the honest response and look forward to working with them again in the future.

Arrived earlier than expected (after calling to confirm) and promptly repaired the appliance with no stress!

They were very responsive- came out the next day.

Never happened...phone argument as to what was wrong with the appliance before even looking at it.

Instead of repairing, the tech told me that financially it would be sense to replace the washer. I agreed with the recommendation. I felt the fee for diagnostics was on the higher side. $90 for the visit and $30 for putting back a pressure tube that had popped out in the rear of the washer.

I was very satisfied with the service received. He is knowledgeable about house appliances, such as ranges, refrigerators, microwaves, washing machines and dryers. Very professional and punctual with time. The best is pricing, reasonable. I highly recommend him.

TERRIBLE. Price went up like the heat in Dubai in the peak of summer. In case you are not familiar with Dubai, it gets unbearably hot. As he dismantled my refrigerator, the repair cost constantly increased . It reached $800 +. He ended up performing a partial repair. The refrigerator had more problems after he left. A failure to cool went to over cooling, no water and ice. I had ice and water before he came. Unfortunately, I did my YELP research afterwards. This is his method of operation especially with refrigerators. This upcoming week I will go on a writing terror to expose this most unscrupulous contractor. Thanks for asking.
