Paul's Best Lawn Service Inc

I asked for and scheduled an estimate. They said they would go out and take a look in the time frame I needed. Despite calls and emails, I never received a response back. I don't even know if they ever went to the property to look. They didn't know I pulled their name from Angie's List so don't know if they would have tried harder knowing that.

Paul's has generally done a very good for us. The estimates for the work have been accurate. Scheduling has taken longer sometimes than I thought it would, but they have always come on the scheduled day. Paul's personnel worked hard and for long hours to get the work done. We've been pleased with the work that Paul's has done for us.

They are the best lawn company we have ever hired. We would gladly recommend them.

My neighbor recommended them. Their price wasn't too bad and that was nice. A lady came to our house, and we told her what we wanted to do. They are not that far away. They did a good job. They did right for the first time. They did it pretty quickly. There is no mess left behind and that is a good thing. They are very responsive. The landscape designer was great.

PBLS just decided at the beginning of this year to "stop servicing my home after years of work. Not only did they charge me more than the competition but now they just decide my house isn't worth the money? BS. Having been a faithful customer for at least three years I did not even get a call or a notice I had to find out in a stupid form letter. Certainly no the way to treat the customer.

This is the 2nd year I have used them to do leaf work on my property. I have a wooded acre, thus lots of leaves. They remove leaves from over 50 large azaleas, large front and back lawns, flower beds, hillside, 2 patio areas, a small pond, the roof and a basement stairwell. They are very professional and did the work as planned. The 3 guys that worked at my house today were very professional, personable and hard working.

They were wonderful. They came on-time. Performed everything to perfection. And finished on time. Perfect.

They do a great job, all the time. I am very satisfied with their work.

I asked around and talked with several landscapers and Paul's Best was the best. Though slightly more expensive, Laura Hall, Landscape Designer/Manager, was very professional, responsive and extremely knowledgeable; she came out to do an assessment and then provided an estimate. I trusted her judgment and was very happy with her work. We can continue to work w/ them and whenever we have questions, we always receive a quick response. They do quality work and do not cut corners. I would highly recommend them.

They did a great job. I have got an acre of property and it?s mostly all trees, so I get many leaves. They came out and cleared leaves off the woods and the roof. By the time they left it looked like a manicured yard. I will be using them again this fall.

Because I work long days and have no green thumb, I sought a lawn service that would give me advice and guidance on what was needed (as affordably as possible) to keep my lawn relatively healthy and neat. After a friendly and helpful initial visit to estimate costs, I found the service was spotty and I could never extract recommendations on what work was needed when (fertilizer, trimming, etc.) or timely responses on when the work would be done. It was no solution.

The person I spoke to over the phone was personable and friendly. Lawn mowing/edging fees were on the higher end compared to other estimates. Landscaping fees were high. I checked the appearance of some of the yards they maintained - they looked good and better than lawns maintained by a few of the other companies we checked. Utimately we were impressed by another company's quality of work so did not hire Paul's Lawn Service. If possible, I recommend you actually see examples of the work the company has done that are similar to the type of work you want performed. It is amazing the variation in quality and appearance that does not always correspond to the feedback listed on consumer sites.

The insurance company was covering it so we had to go within a $500 limit which is why we didn't use them. They were however very professional.

Excellent initial visit and prompt service. Follow up in subsequential seasons was not as good, but still decent.

I submitted an email inquiry to Paul's Best Lawn Service on 6/10 but no one ever contacted me (12 days later).

I got the estimate from Mo, however when I contacted him again to hire him, he never got back to me. I have called him 3 times and he is conveniently out of the office or away from his desk. I tired giving him the benefit of the doubt thinking he was busy but by the 3rd time it was silly. I have since moved on to others to get new estimates hoping to find someone that is a professional and responsive.

They did a great job. The whole yard was refreshed. I've used them in the past and am always happy with the results. I'm not sure they are the cheapest place around but it is so easy to call them and be done with the whole job that I haven't really shopped very much.

We've been using Paul's for about 3-4 years now, and are very happy w/their service. We were referred by a neighbor who knows the owner, and are now one of several families in the neighborhood who work w/this company. One of the nice things they do is provide for review of an annual contract, which sets out (very specific) options for treatments, weeding, or additional work. They've been very flexible in changing orders, and adjusting schedule as well.

It went very well from start to finish. I appreciate how quickly they responded, the professionalism of the service choices with prices. Everything was documented and efficient.

I have used Paul's Best in the past and appreciated their advice, responsiveness and the quality of their crews' work. The most recent experience did not live up to past performance. I originally contacted them in late February. Spoke with "Mo" who said they could possibly get out the following week, depending on their work load and snow melt. I didn't hear anything more and contacted them again on a Friday in mid-March. Mo said he could stop by that afternoon, arrived early evening. We discussed options, preparing estimate, and when the work could be done - again, "next week". Mo emailed the estimate on Monday, I accepted on Wednesday. Two weeks later, I left a message requesting a date when they would be doing the work. I did not receive a response, but a crew appeared the morning of April 23rd. The crew left for a lunch break about noon. I called their office about 3pm and asked Tim for information about when the crew would return. Tim called back and said that the crew had truck problems and were working on fixing it. The crew returned about 5pm, with reinforcements from another crew, and finished the work that evening. The crew did a good job and the yard looks good. The lack of communication on the part of Mo left a lot to be desired. I am not certain whether or not I will use them again.

Paul's Best Lawn Service was easy to work with. Quick response to my initial call, followed up with a visit to my house to provide the estimate. Their price was reasonable, and the work was performed promptly and I was very happy with the quality. They also did a great job cleaning up when done. I would hire them again.

I contacted Paul's after finding them in Angie's list in mid August. Based on positive Angie's list reports, including one customer's positive comments about working with Paul's via email, I sent an email through Angie's list just before leaving on vacation. I hoped I could arrange and possibly have the work started before I turned home. I was disappointed that I never got an email or return phone call. Because the Angie's list reports were so positive and the company was close to my home, I called upon my return from vacation. A young man answered and asked for details about the work I wanted. He took my work phone number and an email address and promised to send check the property and provide a bid. I waited several days and called Paul's back (and contacted another company on the same time). I had to provide the same information again. Mo said he would look at the property and provide a bid in a few days. There was no explanation for why I hadn't heard from them again. A bid came by email a couple of days later - the same day as the other company. Though the total was slightly less than the second company, I chose to go with that other firm because the second company's bid was much more detailed and the company seemed more reliable. The detailed bid made me feel more confident everything would be done. Also, I was disappointed in my first two false starts with this company. Staff was very polite, but follow through was missing, allowing my job to fall through the cracks.

The amount of work they had to and business approach they took to compleion of the project was appreciated. From start to completion it was less than a week, the weather was a hindrance, rain etc. But they cleared out the weeds, shrubs and accumulated junk to truly make the back yard look great. Dealt largely with John Fitts, company General Manager, who came by each day at the start of work to supervise the effort.
