Description of Work: The company representative never showed up for the appointment. After waiting for four hours, called the company and left a message about the missed appointment and never received a call back. We have no intention of working with this company and will not recommend it to anyone.

Description of Work: The contractor said he'll get back to me in about 7 to 10 days with the estimate after the visit, but I never hear back from him.

Description of Work: Utterly brilliant! I cannot say enough wonderful things about GKB. Adem was a great manager and the person he put in charge of the actual job, Cornelio, was just spectacular. They did such a tremendous job with such excellent attention to detail and really worked with us on the vision that we had for the projects. This is what we had done: 1) Kitchen - full gut rehab. They pulled down one wall to expose brick. This was to be our main kitchen wall and we discovered lots of nasty pipes/etc running up that wall. We thought our dream kitchen was over. But Cornelio came up with a solution and saved us! They only charged us a small amount extra to cover the significant amount of work (I must say Adem was very adverse at doing this as he is very good about sticking to the original price; but this was substantial additional work). We supplied all of the appliances/countertops/cabinets etc even though Adem did offer a good option. I wish we had of taken his cabinet option as we are still fighting with Granite Outlet on their absolutely awful and inappropriate product (whatever you do don't use them!). But the kitchen looks brilliant, exactly as we have envisioned, thanks to GBK and Cornelio! 2) Bathroom - full gut rehab. Once again we supplied the design but Adem was able to source us some good materials (shower surround, vanity) that we went with. GKB are also really good about finding other providers that can do a job cheaper/better than they can themselves without trying to charge you any kind of mark-up (very impressive). He sourced us a great bathtub refinisher for our clawfoot tub. 3) Remove carpet, refinish all hardwood floors throughout (including replace a bunch of boards), lay new flooring in the kitchen (we sourced the actual floorboards) and reframe six bay windows. GKB did not do the work - once again, they found a specialist (Danny, don't recall his company right now), who was just fantastic and a very very good price. NOTE the price above does not include this work (it was an additional $6000 and worth every penny!). I cannot recommend these guys enough. They are true to their word and give a good competitive price. I will be uploading photos soon so everyone can see what a spectacular job they did. ps. I have been meaning to write this for some time, but I am a bit slow with such things, sorry GKB!

Description of Work: I called for an estimate on redoing master bathroom. Set up an appointment today with them. I took off from work for this appointment. I waited 18 minutes after the appointment time. I called him with no answer. He called about 50 minutes and said he came by at 9:30, 30 minutes early. He saw a sign by the driveway saying that is was sealed and thought he had the wrong address. He didn’t even to talk call to get the correct address.

Description of Work: GKB refinished my basement bathroom a few years back. I called them because there were a few things I wanted fixed (tenant had loosened a fixture and I saw some darkening in the caulking). They came right away, fixed the fixture and recaulked, and did more than I asked. I always call them--great service.

Description of Work: We are not having the work done at this time but Adem was so helpful. He seemed very knowledgeable when he explained our estimate and he was very professional. We will surely contact Globe when we decide to have the work done.

Description of Work: Tear fiber glass and wall and dispose. Rebuild wall with green board as necessary. Furnish and install Rio Grande tower Caddy. Furnish and install chrome finish glass sliding door. Furnish and install simulated tile wall surround.
