Description of Work: I've used Appliance-Fix-It many times. In the past, it seems to me that they actually fixed things. I don't know if the management has changed, but when I stopped in today for a vacuum cleaner repair, I was disappointed with the response I received. I provided the part number and the cost ($26), but I was told that I had to buy the whole handle assembly ($125). Sounds like they'd rather sell something than make a repair.

Description of Work: Within 30 minutes of my phone call to them, they had A-Plus Appliance Htg & A/C Service call me. David came out the same day and advised me to buy a new compact refrigerator instead of repairing my existing one. He was prompt and honest. A great experience!

Description of Work: I had a belt and roller replaced on an old Hoover vacuum cleaner. They performed the service while I waited which took approximately 10 minutes. I had called first to verified they had the parts for the vacuum and requested a quote. The information I received over the phone was accurate. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Description of Work: It's rare to find a company that could have done part of the job (fix an exhaust fan but not an old KitchenAid dishwasher leak) but instead is willing to make a recommendation for another company that could do all the work. The Appliance Fix-it people were helpful, professional, and clearly customer oriented. I will definitely call them for further work!
