Great.

This is my new favorite repair shop. I used to take my Honda mower to a Honda shop in Springfield, which charged about 30% more for the same service. The Springfield shop has moved to Manassas, and they estimated 2-3 weeks to do the work. Appliance Fix-It was able to do the work in less than 48 hours! I thought I needed a new blade and new wheels (based on advice from the old shop), but was told the blade could be balanced and sharpened and the wheels were fine. I appreciated the honesty and old fashioned customer service I got from Appliance Fix-It. They even cleaned up my grass encrusted mower to a fine shiny polish. They were friendly, helpful and professional. I will bring all my power tools and small appliances here in the future. And they make keys!

Service & repair went perfectly. Most lawn mower service firms have a back log that requires at least a week to complete service. Appliance Fix-t took my mower on Friday and called on Saturday to report the mower service was completed and ready for pickup. The cost was slightly less then the estimate. With such excellent service, it's too bad Appliance Fix-it doesn't perform major appliance repair in the home.

Appliance Fix-It Incorporated is a very reliable and thorough repair shop. I'm planning on using them again to look over my vacuum cleaner, as that is the type of thing they do. My lamp was done in a timely manner and I'm very satisfied.

Excellent. I called the day before going in and the phone was answered promptly. When I showed up an hour before they were closing on a Saturday, they were busy but sharpened my knives, while I waited and made three copies of key.

They were very polite and clear on the phone, and made sure I knew right away that there was a fee for picking up the mower at my house, which I was fine with. Just before they brought it back, they called and told me they'd tried to start the mower before loading it on the truck and found that it still wasn't working right, so let me know it would be another day before it would be returned. That was great follow-up, and they didn't charge anything extra for that. The mower works like new now. It was interesting what they found (spark plug and air filter), because I'd had it worked on by another mower repair shop which not only didn't fix the machine, but brought it back in worse condition after two tries! Cheers for Appliance Fix-It! My parents used their services when I was growing up-how nice to see that they are still in business after all these years.

They were excellent all around. There was a small plastic piece, and they removed it, and now the dishwasher works great.

Delightful service person. Took in mower in the morning and told them had been referred by another company and Angie's List. They called that evening, telling me it was ready to be picked up. They required a $40 deposit and said they'd call if the necessary repairs exceeded $100. As it turned out, the total was $105 but they did not call before doing the repair. That was fine with me. My husband thought the charges were excessive. I don't know how they compare in the region and, since I'm the one who mows [!] and wants the mower to start easily each time, I wasn't as concerned about the cost. However, I understand that if the annual service on a $350 mower is 1/3 the cost of the mower. Still, I compare it to maintenance on my car -- do it on a regular basis, as recommended by manufacturer, and I'm still driving it with no problems whatsoever at 120,000 miles even though if I added up all the service charges over the 9 years I've owned the car, it would be considerable.

Appliance Fix-it technician arrived promptly at scheduled time, removed the microwave from the wall and took it to his shop for diagnosis. He called within a couple of days with the bad news; the GE-performed installation had been incorrectly done. The exhaust vent was still taped shut, thus the exhaust fan vented threw the microwave and back into the kitchen NOT out threw the ceiling vent. The heating malfunction was caused by a broken magnetron and diode. Since the magnetron was still under warranty, we opted for GE repair. The microwave was returned to us at the agreed upon time.

Excellent. I called on Friday at 9 am and was told that the earliest they had available was tomorrow (a Saturday thank goodness!). Instead of giving the 8 hour window of time, they gave a 30 minute window, between 7:30 am and 8 am!!! Before coming, Mike Kellmel got the dryer model number, so he could bring the parts with him. He showed up within the 30 min window, fixed the part, put the dryer back, and was done in 30 minutes. The part plus labor was $175. I don't know if it is a great deal or not, but the quick service, 90 day labor guarantee, and follow through made it all worth it.

I called Mike on the basis of Angie's list reports. Angie's list gave him an A grade. I'd give Mike an A+. I thought our dryer was gone for good, as it was so old, but Mike came, and within 30 min., he had diagnosed the problem and fixed it. Although I was a new customer and Mike's schedule was quite busy, he fit me in early, two days after our initial contact. He called me the day before our appointment to confirm and determine the model of my dryer so he would be sure to have the right parts on hand so he wouldn't have to come twice. Mike was punctual, courteous, polite, and quick. The price was very reasonable too! I will definitely use him again!

My mower would start, but would shut off within 3-5 seconds. Appliance Fix-It repaired it within 4 days and it operates fine. They also cleaned the mower and sharpened the blades at no extra charge although I didn't ask for this. I was very impressed with the service.

The people at this company are very friendly, responsive, and sometimes have fixed items right on the spot. Their prices are very reasonable.

They gave excellent service. Timely work was performed as and when promised. The mower works fine now.

Excellent. Store clerk advised that it wasn't worth fixing over certain general costs. They called when they said they would and had mower ready for pick up and running well within 24 hours. During the busy spring season, this is remarkably quick turnaround. They also offer pick up service for additional cost.

THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL BOTH WITH THEMSELVES AND THEIR APPEARANCE. THEY WERE VERY CLEAN AND CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES. THEY WERE VERY FAIRLY PRICED.
