I have no complaints. They knew what they were coming out to do and they did it.

They did fine. They cleaned them out. They got the water flowing better again. Reattached a gutter to outside of a 4200 sq ft house. They did good work, responded in a timely matter, and were responsive.

I purchased the $99 deal for 30 feet knowing that I would need more than that. I very much appreciated the reasonable price, and the price was what one would expect based on the offer. Not only did they replace the gutter, they also put back up the vinyl covering which had come down. They were very responsive to any concerns that I had. There were no hidden extra charges which some of the other gutter companies try to charge. I will use them again. I had actually purchased another gutter offer but asked for a refund when they tried to charge almost 40% in hidden charges. This company is honest and straightforward. Thanks, STB!

They installed a connection of gutter from the upper roof to the lower level roofting. And then they installed gutter hangers for free to secure the gutters to our roof in place of loose nails.

Price was good on top quality windows. Had initial meeting to go over options and pricing. Decided to go ahead with ordering windows. They cam in and took measurements that week. It took 3 weeks for windows to be delivered. Windows delivered and installed in half a day with trimming and caulking. Windows look great! Big difference with insulation and noise reduction. One window had a bad lock and was replaced without any hassle. I would use STB again to get the rest of our old windows replaced.

They replaced the wrong section of gutter but came back the next day and corrected the mistake. They did a good job.

Very professional work on a very steep roof. The one mistake was that they did not fix a major leak in a downspout I had pointed out to them. I had to call them back and they fixed it right away. Would have been a perfect job otherwise.

They replaced our gutters within 24 hours after accepting the quote and they look and work perfectly.

John answered my call and came out to the house on the same day to look at my issue and give me an estimate for the repair. I showed him the area, but it turns out my builder used a sort of soffit/fascia/gutter kit (part of the reason it is leaking and sagging), and there was not much that STB could to to replace it without much more extensive reworking of the whole soffit/fascia area too. John gave me an estimate, which was much more than I wanted to spend right now, but then got up on the ladder to caulk the areas that were leaking as a temporary fix. The fix should keep me in business through the winter until we can decide if we want to the more extensive repair. He refused to charge me or take payment for what he did to help me, and to help me understand the scope of my issue. I will definitely be calling STB for roofing or other repairs that we need over time, though.

Accepted Angie's list e-mail special. provider called and made appointment for estimate. gave me a price and scheduled work to be performed the following day. Work was completed & old gutter hauled away.

Mr. Kim was very responsive, came by to look at the house within a day or two and provided an estimate the same day. The work was done within the week and the crew left things tify. They missed one buried downspout tie in, so came back the following day to address that. I noticed a couple of weeks later that the downspout repair in the back was not effective, and that one gutter was overflowing. I sent Mr. Kim videos of the two issues and his crew returned the next day to address the issues. The two return trips were included in the original price. They were professional and prompt, and no doubt helped save us from another wet basement episode.

Great communication and flexibility. Work was timed around exterior painting job from another contractor - that work was delayed several times, but these folks stayed flexible and came as soon as other work was complete. Clean, fast install.

STB did a great job, and I would recommend them to others. I received estimates from several possible contractors, and STB proposed a gutter cover that appeared to me the best among those I saw (MicroGuard) at a very reasonable price. Perhaps most importantly, they noted that to address the corrosion that could otherwise develop between the aluminum gutter covers and the copper gutters I have, they would place black electrical tape along any contacts between the two surfaces. No other contractor I consulted had mentioned this as a possible issue, but after some research on the internet, I saw that it could indeed be a problem. It appears that gutter cover installers are not always among the most reputable of companies. One needs to be careful. The covers appear to be working well so far, but I will of course not know for some time, and perhaps years, whether they truly work well without clogging up. But I believe they will be fine.

An earlier storm had damaged the gutter and some shingles on one side of our house. We wanted a bid on replacing the gutter and several shingles. We called three companies for estimates (all from Angie's List). John, from STB, called and came out to survey the job almost immediately. The second company called a couple of days later and came out to our house about a week later. We got a call back from the owner of the third company several days after we called and called him back, only to again not hear from him until days later. We never connected. John said he would email us an estimate which was received about four days after he came to our house. In that email, he mentioned his discomfort replacing the shingles as he did not want to compromise our roofing warranty. He apologized for any misunderstanding and gave us a bid for just the gutter replacement. The second company, owned by a very personable man, did not email us his estimate as promised until we called to ask for it. His estimate included the replacement of both the gutter and shingles and seemed prohibitively expensive. Though it wasn't exactly comparable to STB's estimate as it included replacing the shingles in addition to the gutter, it was TRIPLE the cost of the estimate from STB and unreasonably priced as there isn't much labor involved in replacing three shingles (and we have the shingles so no expense was involved to replace them). We emailed John again to tell him we didn't care about the warranty (the roofing company was no longer in business) and asked for a bid to replace the shingles. We are still not quite sure what the actual issue was, but John was reluctant to do the roof work and did not give us a bid for this portion of the work. He suggested we hire a handyman to replace the shingles. Because we wanted both jobs done, we went back to Angie's List and contacted two roofing companies that also replaced gutters. One called us back immediately and set up an appointment for a week later (though they let us know they were running 6-7 weeks out to actually do any work). The other company never called us back. We decided to contact someone we knew who said he could replace the shingles which solved that problem so we decided to hire STB to do the gutter work. We had been impressed by the immediate response to our call and thought the bid was reasonable. We emailed John who immediately called back. Much to our surprise, the work was scheduled for the next day. We were given a window of time during which the crew would show up and an email followed to confirm the time. The men arrived on time and completed the job within 45 minutes. They worked efficiently, did an excellent job, and were responsive to questions and requests. Though they advertise shingle work, STB's decision to not do our shingle replacement would dissuade us from asking them to do any future roof repair. Perhaps the job was too small for them. This particular issue would not, however, prevent us from giving them an excellent recommendation for gutter work and to use them again should we require their services in the future.

STB Remodeling Group was professional and efficient from the first request for an estimate to the installation. The crew was able to remove my old gutters/downspouts and install the new gutter system in less than half a day. The foreman was able to answer some of my questions about the installation.
