Terrible. The next morning he sent me a text saying one of his estimators had been to my house at 4pm, rang the bell, but no one answered. He said he measured (and gave me measurements). He also said we need white gutters (but they are cream, not white). I wrote to him and said someone is not telling the truth, because my dog alerts the whole neighborhood when someone rings my bell. No one rang my bell yesterday. It's most likely that Mr Kim or his estimator could see from online sources that we live in a townhouse, which here in Reston, are all the same 26 foot frontage. Someone in this company is not telling the truth. I'd be very careful with them.

They gave me an estimate within days of reaching out. I approved the proposal and they installed my gutters the next day! The crew could not be more professional. They scheduled a day and time. They called an hour before to let me know they were on their way. Showed up on time. Cleaned my roof from debris, took down the old gutters and replaced with new ones along w gutter guards. Very friendly and respectful. I would definitely hire again and recommend.

From start to finish, we had an amazing experience with STB. John ran the project very smoothly and the entire team is so professional and courteous. We would love to work with them again and we love the outcome of the projects.

Generally, it went fine -- the crew arrived on time and did the work quickly. My only issue with STB was that in the estimate, replacement of at least some of the fascia board was included. However, none of it was actually replaced -- the workman told me that once he looked at it closely, he thought the fascia board didn't need replacing. The estimate that included replacing of the fascia board was one of the main reasons I selected this company. Someone should have explained this development to me, and also it seems like the price should have been reduced since no work was done on the fascia board.

The folks at STB were very prompt with their estimate and were able to complete work by desired timeframe. We love the helmet feature added. We had them replace all of our gutters and would recommend them to a friend. Prices were reasonable, too.

It went very smoothly from the estimate to the clean-up. The crew was great to work with and it was extremely hot. John Lee is awesome and quite the professional. We enjoyed working with the company. The quality of the work and customer service was second to none.

STB replaced the gutters on the back of our house. The entire process was completed in less than 2 hours. They cleaned up and took away all the debri. They also replaced an old cedar shake roof on a gazebo with new shingles. Again the speed and quality were excellent. The crew arrived at 7 am and were completely finished by 1 pm the same day. I would recommend STB - they were responsive to my questions prior to starting the job. While not the least expensive bid I received they definitely provided the quality I was looking for.

STB Remodeling Group did an outstanding job in replacing my mansard roof and installing new seamless gutters and downspouts. Throughout the planning and the actual work through completion, Mr. Lee and Mr Kim were available to answer questions and they kept me fully apprised of other important matters regarding materials, warranties, and scheduling. I was always very comfortable knowing that STB Remodeling not only does excellent work but they have a good reputation in the industry and they stand behind their work. I couldn't be more happy about the end results of STB Remodeling Group's work. The roofing and gutter crews started their work on time and they were friendly and completely focused on getting the work completed in a thorough and timely manner. The end result of STB's work is that we have a high quality and durable roof and new seamless gutters with microguard to prevent clogging. STB Remodeling Group cares about its customers which is very evident by the effective way my concerns and questions were handled and by the level of attention that Mr. Kim and Lee devoted to ensuring that things were fair and that the work was done in a timely, complete and professional manner. I was very satisfied with the service. The company came out the next day after I called for the estimate. I had numerous follow up questions and the project manager answered all of them very quickly. The work had to be postponed once due to equipment issues but the company still came out that day to my house to do a temporary repair to my roof since it was leaking. I did not ask the company to do this and was surprised that they did this on their own. I was put on the schedule as soon as the equipment was fixed and the work was completed. I would definitely recommend this company and would use them again.

Mr. Kim was one of the first contractors to respond to my inquiry on Angie's List (some never did), and came out the very next day to evaluate what needed to be done. He emailed the proposed contract to me within a couple of hours with the estimated cost, along with every detail (type, color, size, warranty. etc) so that I had all the information without having to ask for clarification or more info. The only reason that I went elsewhere for the new gutters was that another company was a tiny bit less expensive. But I was very much impressed with the professionalism of Mr. Kim, in his courtesy and understanding and patience.

Excellent service all around. Called for an estimate and got it the same day - and were able to schedule me the next day once I agreed to the service. Took care of it and I did not have to be home for any part of it. Simple, easy to work with and did and excellent job. Also, price included microguard gutter protectors and was cheaper than the other two I received quotes from that did not included gutter protectors - happy and will use again

We needed new gutter for my mom's house. John Lee was the initial point of contact and he was quick to give us an estimate. He was also willing to work with our schedule and to go between my brother and I to get things done. The gentleman that came to install the gutter was quick, courteous and professional. He did a great job and we really appreciate it!

The repair team was punctual, courteous and skilled. Everything was done in a most craftsman-like way, and the final result looked perfect. The clean-up after the work was thorough. I could not have been happier with the job.

Contacting STB was easy, both for the intial estimate and while the work was being done. They are accomating: We were having the house painted, so their crew showed up a couple days before the painters and removed the existing gutters and downspouts, then returned after the painters were done to install the new gutters and downspouts. The representative stopped by after the job was done to inspect it with me and explained the five year warranty and what maintenance would be needed. I would contact them again for other work at my home.

I did my due diligence and selected 3 gutter providers from Angie's List, contacted all of them and told them that I wanted two options: replacement of gutters, downspouts and gutter covers on back of house (where I was having lots of problems with excessive rain overwhelming my gutters on my deck and an Option 2 to replace all gutters and gutters covers for the entire house. To the credit of the 3 providers I contacted from Angie's List, they all contacted me within 12 hours (I contacted them on their various websites on a Sunday and received calls from all the following Monday morning). Each provider coordinated with me to visit my home to provide eyes on the situation. Two of them provided estimates on the spot, one with a bit of detail and the other with minimal detail of what they would do and/or the name of the gutter or gutter cover. I had done my research and already had a good idea of which gutter covers were better than others. All three estimates were very close in price. However, what made STB Remodeling Group stand out was the care and in-depth review of my situation by Mr. TS Kim. He listened to my concerns, walked with me as I showed him areas of existing roof gutters that were not capturing any rain water, and also asked me lots of questions that indicated he the business of gutter replacement. He then said he would provide a written detailed estimate and email it to me the following morning. Bright and early the next day I opened his email and reviewed his detailed estimate. The estimate reiterated the existing situation of 5" gutters and 2x3 downspouts. He detailed what was entailed in Option 1 (replacing gutters, downspouts, gutter covers in the back of the house), along with the name of the gutter cover and the price. He did the same for Option 2. He also immediately would respond to my email questions regarding the estimate and made adjustments and provided new estimates based on my new inquiries. He was fantastic. Mr. Kim is a credit to the STB Remodeling Group. I really liked the fact that the estimate he provided was detailed and transparent with the product he was providing to be installed. Based on lots of recent rain, we had to wait an extra few days for a clear day for the installation. The work crew cam within the timeframe that Mr. Kim provided to me and the crew was professional, walked with us as we walked the property (which the foreman/head person was already very well versed and already knew in detail what was to be accomplished) cleaned up everything, and again walked us through the finished product. The gutters and covers looked beautiful. And as a testament to their craft, it rained hard and long a couple of days later. The gutters work phenomenally well. No more water flowing back into my screened-in porch. Hands down, STB Remodeling Group does outstanding work. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Mr. Kim came out and made an estimate on a Wednesday. He told us about how the gutter was sagging and that was the cause of our overflow situation in the rear of our townhouse. He said he could replace just the rear or do both. He recommended to do both and also to remove the spike and ferrules and replace with hidden hangers. He also recommended installing a topper which I agreed since we have very tall trees right next to the house. Total length was two 22' sections, one for the rear and one for the front of the house with toppers on a three story town house. The estimate was received the next day and the installation was scheduled for Friday. Installers came with 4 people and job was completed very efficiently and they all knew what they were doing. All debris was cleaned and old gutters taken away. They were also extremely prompt getting to our house at exactly 8am. Total turnaround time was three days from contact with Mr. Kim to completion of the job. Now we have new gutters and everything looks great. Price was very good and used the Angie list deal to get $100 off. Overall I am very happy with Mr. TS Kim and STB Remodeling Group and would recommend them to anyone.

That one was marginal at best because the gutter was not properly hung in terms of what I have learned subsequently, so I had to fix that gutter along with the balcony. They probably came out within 3 or 4 days after I purchased the big deal. I did not use them to repair as I guess I was not blown away with what they were telling me. All the work was done subsequently by another company, so I really didn't use their services. I paid the money, and they came out to look at it, but I didn't use them. There was a drainage problem, and they didn't apparently discover it. They came out reasonably quickly, and as scheduled. They were professional.

Fine. I'd give it A, but there were some minor drip type leaks in the middle, maybe a joint? Not unusual and could be soffit so I gave them a pass. Overall, very pleased.
