We are currently renting a house managed by Real Property Management PROS and they have been good to work with. This is the first place I have ever rented so I will admit I was a little disappointed with some of the processes but also found that is normal practice too. We have worked personally with Danielle at Real Property Management PROS and she has been absolutely wonderful with her prompt response and always being attentive to any issues or concerns. I would recommend contacting them and seeing if they are able to help you with managing your property or even renting a property they manage.

Overall, pretty well. Getting started was easy. They certainly try to sell themselves (who wouldn't), but I never felt pressured into anything. They try to be pretty communicative about everything. They use a nice online system that will provide you with monthly statements. Maintenance stuff is pretty straight forward. You pre-pay a nominal amount (~$500) which is held in an account for when/if something comes up. If there is a chance the cost will be more than a $100 or so, they will ask permission to fix it before they even go out there. If it's something small, they will just fix it and let you know. I had one instance where the cost of repairs seemed WAY higher than it should be. I worked with one of their Maint Coordinators (Cindy Cole) who was able to talk to their handymen and bring the price down to something way more reasonable.

Real Property Management took over the management of the rental property we are in about 6 months ago. So far the responsiveness and communication has been excellent! Caroline and the team are wonderful to work with!

Danielle swiftly replied to my email and communicated what I needed to my tenants. Previously, she had helped me with another matter. She is always quick to respond and sounds friendly.

My review is relative to the professionalism and responsiveness of Mr. Chuck Adcox. My wife and I rented a property through Real Management Pros for over a year, and honestly encountered several issues with the homeowner as well as former employees of the organization (Real Management Pros). When Chuck Adcox got involved with my situation, he went above and beyond to mitigate and resolve my issues. Chuck acted as a true intermediary between both parties, spending several weeks, days and hours ensuring that a once terrible situation was peacefully and amicably resolved. His involvement saved me time and money, and I am truly appreciative. I will never forget the care Mr. Adcox took with my situation and I recommend he and his company to all prospective patrons.

Chuck Adcox Was very informative in explaining the services and cost of the management company. He rented my townhouse in a very short period of time. He was very prompt in answering my questions. I would use his services again.

Chuck and Real Property Management Pros was very helpful and responsive and was able to line up a tenant before I even listed on the market which was great. I got a lease signed for two years and the process was very easy.

Carpet replaced and bathroom tile redone. Air conditioner tech came out to assist in the proper function of unit.

RPM managed my home for 6 years while we were deployed from the area. While the staff is nice and the insurances they provide (rent and legal) are great, maintenance was frequently mismanaged and the tenant quality (2 sets of tenants in 6 years) were very poor. Critical thinking wrt our property were at a minimum, projects were started that weren't finished-no one from RPM sent pictures or followed up with maint issues unless specifically asked (sometimes multiple times), maintenance costs were grossly over priced, some were charged and never completed and I didn't find out until years later. Trees were allowed to grow from the side of my home (6 of them each up to 8 in in dia) without anyone questioning it. The wrong window was placed in a street facing window for years, when it was discovered and subsequently "fixed" recently they drilled a screw through the entire window frame so now the window won't even open. Previous tenants deposit was withheld for painting that was never completed, when my new tenants told RPM multiple times, nothing was done. By the time I found out about it, 2 years later, I was told there was no recourse. These are just a sampling of the maintenance issues, feel free to PM me if you want the laundry list as I was forced to keep pretty intricate records or let my home fall into disrepair. The most frustrating part was the constant requirement for follow up and keeping very thorough records and then following up again. One time, there was turnover while I was dealing with HOA violations, I assumed for over a month that RPM was dealing with the violations only to find out upon follow up that the person had left and no one was working on taking care of the violations, in all it took 4 months to resolve HOA violations that could have cost me dearly if my HOA hadn't been so understanding. Basically, no initiative was shown and it was frustrating. If you are looking for security in the financial and legal transactions for your property then this is a good company to use. They start out of the gate strong and find tenants pretty quickly, Mr. Blackwood is a smart businessman but unless you have the time to manage the maintenance dept, suggest you skip the over priced middlemen, manage your own maintenance and plan to have a visual on your home annually. This company has over charged me, provided terrible maintenance and fleeced me as recently as August 2017. They have failed to adequately and legally refund deposits, charging me for items that they were responsible and tenants/me for work that was never done. I have contacted prior tenants and we will be taking legal action if it is not resolved. Marc.
