My dog brought home some hitchhikers from the dog park, and they practically took over the house. I called several companies from Angie's List, because I have asthma, and certain chemicals can cause a bad reaction. The folks at My Pest Pros very patiently answered my questions and explained the process and products they would use (Alpine). I discovered that this is a labor and time intensive process. I washed all throws, pillows, dog beds, and rugs the day before, and put them in large plastic bags. Then I had to vacuum everything, - floors, upholstery etc. I took my dog to her doggy day care for a bath the day of the appointment, and she stayed all day. We had to be out of the house until the product dried. The very nice young technician (Patrick?), arrived on time, and toured the house, and explained what he was going to do. I went to the park for a while, and he called me when he was finished, about 45 minutes later. I locked up the house, and left the upstairs windows open to help dry things out, and we went home about 4 hours later. The treatment didn't affect my asthma at all. The next part of the process is to vacuum every day for 14 days to get up all the little corpses, eggs and pupae. I also flea-combed my dog with flea spray every day. I found 1 flea on her the day following treatment, and one 2 days later. After that there was no sign. I'm thrilled to be rid of the little varmints, and would highly recommend this company. Their price was very reasonable, and everyone was friendly and professional.

Inspector was thorough and found no problems

This was a big deal purchase. It seems to me that it was a pre-paid price for the initial visit and one follow up visit. I was not impressed, but I was going to have to deal with it. We found that after the man had set the traps and presumably outside as well we found, the next day or whatever, evidence that they were right back in the house in the same spot. My son set a common, ordinary mousetrap right next to the fancy, they crawl in and die mousetrap that the fellow had set, two or three days ago and he caught one the same night. We threw that out and set the trap a second night and he caught a second one. We have not heard a word from the man. I assume I will have to look at my notes to see what I paid for the first and second visit, but I am not impressed. I don't know how effective what he put outside was. He said he found entry places or whatever outside and did something to prevent them from being entry places any more but I also thought there was supposed to have been one return visit which has not happened. I would have to look at my notes to see what they offer for that price. We caught two mice but how do I know what kind of a job he did outside. The inside things were not very effective. I have not seen any mice since.

Very professional. He came a couple hours early, which I didn't mind, he called before hand and asked if it was ok. He did a very thorough walk-thru and evaluated for any evidence of past or current termite damage. Explained and answered all of my questions. I had no current damage, but made suggestions to me about what I should do to the house before getting any termite prevention package. All around friendly and professional inspection. Looking forward to doing business again and will recommend My Pest Pros to anyone that needs help.

Overall excellent, easy to schedule, didn't have to wait a long time for an appointment, reasonable prices (though I'd pay unreasonable prices not to have rats burrowing in the backyard!), a very diligent company -- they contacted us to schedule a follow-up inspection & treatment (which was covered in the fee we originally paid, so it wasn't like they were trying to up sell us or anything). I liked that the same technician came to our house both times & gave us lots of tips on what to look for/expect to see if the treatment was working. Both the scheduler & our technician were really nice. I never want to have to use a pest control company again, but if I do, I will definitely use this company. (Price was somewhere b/w $160 and $180.)

I paid for a termite inspection through an Angies List deal. Some left a phone message for me telling me to call the office and set up a time. When I called the person said they had no record that I had paid but would set up the appointment anyway. They called me on the day of the appointment to ask if I had an appointment. The person I spoke to said she didn't have a record of the appointment (which was strange in and of itself -- otherwise why would she have been calling me). She asked me what time that day was convenient. I told her I had another appointment that day and I did not want the two to overlap. We set a time to avoid that, and their person showed up after the scheduled time. Naturally my second appt time arrived shortly after. I asked the termite inspector to come back at a later time. He started arguing with me that it was fine for him to be there during my other appointment. I told him that it was not his decision and to please leave. He suggested that I request a refund for the termite inspection.

Brett was very knowledgeable and professional. He conducted a thorough inspection of the house, perimeter and shed. He examined an area of the crawl space where there had been previous termite damage over 20 years ago and we were concerned that they may have returned. He was honest and informative and assured us that there was no recent damage. We did discover active termites on wooden dividers in the garden right below the screened porch and he came back and treated this for a reasonable price.

My Pest Pros was great to work with. I was trying to coordinate the exterminators to come and spray for ants while my floors were being replaced - the idea was to do the spraying on the subfloor before the new flooring was laid. I spoke with both Rana and Brett, the owner, and both were very helpful. I initially scheduled my service with Rana for a Thursday afternoon, when the contractors estimated being done with removing the existing hardwood floor. At the last minute, my contractors asked to come a day early, which meant that on Tuesday night I was calling My Pest Pros to try and reschedule for Wednesday afternoon, the next day. Brett was very responsive (he had given me his cell phone during an earlier exchange to make communication more efficient). I called him Tuesday evening and he was able to get back to me that night to move my appointment to Wednesday afternoon. Because the other technicians were already booked, he fit me into his schedule to accommodate the limited window of time I had available. Brett was on time and very professional, took a look around, sprayed for ants and suggested (and then did) spraying a few extra areas. He even "permanently relocated" a very large spider on my deck (no really, it was much larger than your standard household spiders). It was a pleasure working with My Pest Pros, and I am particularly appreciative of their flexibility and willingness to work with me for last minute changes to scheduling.

I received no service and paid $65.

It was not so good. He came out and he was like 3 hours late. He got here and it was like I got a doctor's appointment. They postponed to come another day. I had my daughter staying with me with my grandson. We had arranged to get them out of the house when he was here and we were going out to dinner. He came at 5:00 or 5:30. It was a really bad time but he was going to cancel the whole thing and we couldn't do it. He did show up and he sprayed the stuff. I got him back the second time to come out. Within three weeks, everything had come back. He came back out the second time. I called when it was still supposed to be within the time period for them to come back. The ants had come back again and they said they couldn't come out because we weren't in their location and they didn't cover our area. The first time I had with them was really good so I would rate them high. The second time was okay and the third time was ridiculous. I wouldn't have them come out again if I had to.

Technician was very thorough and caulked all entry points. Placed poison and traps in basement which snagged the mice already in. He then called back 10 days later. AAA+++

Brett called before arrival, only treats areas requiring service based on information from the homeowner and provides very helpful suggestions you can do to defend your home.

This was a necessary action in advance of executing the closing on a house purchase. I wasn't present for the actual inspection. The highlight of the transaction was that the price was very reasonable relative to other companies (especially those recommended by realtors), and the company was very responsive and able to do the inspection within 24 hours. This was important because it was a missed step with only a couple days before the closing.

We had a huge issue regarding the 1st treatment. They did not show up twice and the owner Brett Lieberman finally contacted us and came out on a Saturday morning to do the treatment. We had another treatment on June 25th. That one went fine but they only sprayed around the house and pool area. We contracted for 1 - 2 acre treatment so the mosquitos in the front are still there. They came out again on July 27th and did the treatment only around the house again, and then it stormed within an hour or two. (Treatment was a waste and the excuse of not being able to come out due to the weather didn't matter on this day). They did not come out at all during the month of August. When I spoke to Reyna yesterday, she said the technician was here on the 24th. That was a huge surprise since there is no way he would have been able to access the property with 4 large dogs. He would have been bitten. She then backtracked and said that no he hadn't been there, that he was scheduled, but did not come out. We scheduled an apt for today between 8 am - 9 am. I called at 10 am to find out where the technician was and was told that he had a situation and was in Maryland. I explained to her that this season has been a waste, they are not doing what they were contracted to do, not covering the full 1 - 2 acres, and not showing up period. I requested a refund and will find someone who wants to actually do the work that was contracted. spraying around the house isn't helping since we actually use our yard and not treating the whole property is worthless. Waiting to see if the owner Brett Lieberman calls. Truly disappointed since we used them last year and they did fine. Not sure what the issue is, but we will not recommend them or use them in the future. UPDATE: September 4, 2015 Brett Lieberman contacted me yesterday afternoon. He apologized for the situation and accepted responsibility for the issues that we were having with the contracted service. He personally came out last night to do the mosquito and tick treatment himself and made sure that we had his cell phone number and email in case there was any other issues for the remainder of the contract. We really appreciated the fact that he made sure that we were satisfied and also encouraged us to let him know when/if we had any other issues. He also called me again this afternoon to follow-up with us after the treatment yesterday. Based on this latest interaction with Brett, we would are changing our rating back to an A.

The office staff was very friendly and helpful in scheduling the service call. The service provider showed up on time as scheduled and provided the requested service treating both inside the house and outside the kitchen area at all possible points of entry. The ant problem has not reappeared and we are very satisfied with the result.

Brett was really awesome. He did a very thorough investigation of the exterior house and pointed out some areas that may be causing us problems with annoying pests. I signed up for an ongoing quarterly treatment plan and as of now have had one additional treatment with them. The second encounter was just as satisfying as the first

We had a termite problem over ten years ago and relied on a highly rated, locally-owned company to handle it. The company was bought out by Terminex and, no offense to either that company or Terminex, we lost our comfort zone (in part due to Terminex charging 10-15% more every year, just for checks when we had no problems, and offering highly inflated prices for any other pest control issues we encountered (e.g., carpenter bees). We decided to go back to a locally-owned company and, based on Angie's List reviews, tried My Pet Pros. Good choice. They did a thorough inspection, not only for termites but also for other insects and vermin (offering suggestions),. The appointment was easily scheduled and they arrived at the appointed hours. I sent a follow-up question by email on a Sunday afternoon, not expecting a response before Monday, and the response arrived in less than an hour. I think we have found a new, locally-owned pest control service provider

Very thorough review and advice on termites and other pest control issues at home. They were professional and delivered a written report by mail that included the verbal advice given during the visit. I summary a good experience !

Brett contacted me directly and promptly over the weekend. He arranged a time and came out to perform the service during the time arranged. Price was competitive and reasonable. Would use again.
