It went very well overall. I did have them look back over the floor and fill in some very small gaps they had missed. And it did take a day longer than expected, but it was no problem.

In comparison to a floor company we when we first bought our home, Mand M Floors was by far a better end result. Not only were their staff professional, answered our questions, told us when we could and could not walk on the floors, they also were extremely clean. The best part is that this company uses sanders with HEPA filters. Compared to the other company we used, there was almost no dust! They also covered up things to keep the dust down. Not only were able they able to match the stain of the existing floors (custom stain), the finish was so much smoother and more even, as far as color, then when we had our floors done before.

Went very well. Punctual, professional, cleaned up very well. Kept me in the loop the whole time.

Everything turned out really well. The whole process went according to plan. It was a very easy process and the outcome was very good. They showed up on time and completed the work efficiently.

Mand M Floors were recommended to us from family and friends and had good reviews on Angie's List. We had them come out to do the estimate initially in June and they recommend we wait atleast 6 to 8 weeks until the wood floors were completely dry before they came out to repair and resand/stain. We did as directed and planned this during our summer vacation. Let me recommend one thing do this why you are not home, a home with two dogs and children it was a nightmare even when we returned keeping them off the floors for a few days. The smell and minimal dust bothered our allergies so I highly recommend them do this while on vacation. They have a lockbox system or you can give them a garage code. Everything was in the same condition when we returned, they do a fabulous job at putting plastic up to block as much dust getting into the rest of the home. I did get the dustless upgrade but it still leaves a slight residue nothing that was terrible by any means. The color they chose while we were away to match our existing wood was amazing. I never would have believed that my floor could be more beautiful after this was done. THEY ARE AMAZING! The richness in the grain and the color and the matte finished is so beautiful. neighbors have already said find out the color cause I want that when I do mine. The only glitch was a delay because we chose waterbased product vs the oil base product which takes more time. Once we made it over that hurdle all was good. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM and I also upgraded to the traffic finish since I have kids and dogs to help with scratches.

We had a very bad experience with another service provider dealing with their subcontracts who were less than efficient. We hired Mand M because apparently they told us they have their own crews and do not subcontract. They did it in the timeframe they said it would take within 5 working days. They had to buff it and then they had to put this stuff down and all, then we had to let it set, we couldn't walk on it for a day or so because it smells. We were out of house two whole days but they did within the 5 days they said they would finish it.

We purchased a home with wood flooring throughout the living room, dining room, entrance and back hallways, and kitchen. The wood floors were scratched with areas gouged from improper refinishing. We thought we needed to replace the floors. However, over a 5-day period, the M and M miracle-workers carefully stripped, sanded and then refinished the floors to their natural state. The result--beautiful floors that look "like-new".

He was nice. They did an excellent job; he listened to what I said. I did not feel ripped off in any way. They put carpeting in my basement and after I moved everything back in, I accidentally got it dirty in one spot. He cleaned it for me on that same trip at no extra charge.

Overall, everything was outstanding. I would highly recommend them without reservation. The professionalism, timeliness, and anxious to please attitude really stood out to me.

The wood floors had been under carpeting for 15+ years and were damaged in multiple spots. They showed up on time to see the work to be done and we received the bid via e-mail the next day.Their bid was competitive, not the lowest, but their customer service and dustless sanding won us over. We had to reschedule several times and the office staff was always easy to work with. When the refinishing began it could not have gone any smoother. The crews showed up as scheduled and worked hard. They took the time to stain several patches of wood to show us how the different colors looked. We are very happy with how beautiful the wood floors look and the carpet they put in the bedroom also looks great.

The floor looks great. It changes the character of the room from good enough to a pleasure to see.

Mand M did a wonderful job! Chris came out to our house to measure and give us an estimate--- which was not the cheapest, but also not the most expensive estimate we got-- and went over everything we wanted/we're thinking about doing and gave us some really good ideas (of what would work/what wouldn't work). They started with our upstairs project first, which took about a week when you took into account that the top coatings on our stain had to sit overnight, etc. We weren't living in the house at the time, but Mand M gave us daily email updates and kept up informed of what was happening, when we could walk on the new wood, etc. They even left several stain choices for us to pick from. When the job was finished, we were blown away with how beautiful the floors looked--- they did an excellent job (and left virtually no sign or mess of the major work they had done). For our downstairs project, we had to go out to their store in Fairfax to look at carpet samples and when we couldn't decide, they let us take the samples back to the house to match it with our new paint and furniture (and then their workmen took the samples back to the store for us so we wouldn't have to go back out to Fairfax). Once our carpet came in, they got it installed right away-- again, excellent job. And the padding they used is fabulous--- our new carpet not only looks great, but feels great too. I had also mentioned that I wanted to keep any extra carpet to make a small mat to use at the basement entryway door. When they were done, they actually cut out a mat for me and left the extra carpet rolled neatly in our utility room. At all times, Mand M was punctual, responsive and just an overall pleasure to work with. I really appreciated the email updates and the fact that they were always on schedule with timing, etc. They also came in slightly under their estimate (based on the carpet we picked) which was also really nice. Yes, they aren't the cheapest out there, but you really get what you pay for--- top quality products and top quality service. I would always recommend Mand M and will definitely use them again!

The project went very well. The staff showed up on time Monday morning and I was able to confirm everything that was to be done. They were pleasant and made sure they understood what I wanted. The project ran from Monday thru Friday. I was able to move back into the house on Saturday. I was very pleased with the results. The floors look great. The really worn spots came back and you wouldn't know there was ever a problem. The wood thresholds in the project areas came back to life. The office staff was professional when I called with questions. I would recommend them to others. The price was comparable to other estimates I recieved. They did charge extra for moving the furniture but to me it is worth it. My couch moving days are over.

The only complaint here was the they did not tape off all of the walls (only the bottom of the finials) so we are now having to repaint all of the trim on the stairs. However, the new floor that they installed looks absolutely beautiful. My upstairs hallway posed a great challenge with its curves and angles and they made it look fantastic. They were in the house for about a week and it was very noisy and dusty but it was worth it in the end. I highly recommend.

M and M did a great job. Its people are most cordial and accommodating!

I had M and M floors provide me with a free estimate for staining and refinishing my hardwood floors. They were on-time and very friendly. I also went into the showroom to pick out the color I liked. Their price was inline with other estimates, about $3/sq ft. Unfortunately, it was going to cost too much for me at this time, but when I do get them refinished, I will use M and M floors. All the staff that I interacted with were super friendly and provided a level of customer service that is hard to find in this area.

Mand M was recommended to me by a close friend who had used them a year or two ago. From the get-go, my interactions with them were really positive - the office staff was professional and friendly. The estimator came out at a time convenient to me within a few days of my first call - Tim answered all my questions and emailed me an estimate when promised (later the same day, as I recall). They were able to schedule me on pretty short notice so that the work could be completed during spring break when our kids were away. I was encouraged to call at 7am on Day 1 to confirm the schedule - I was told the crew would be there by 10 - they actually came a few minutes early. They carefully covered my fabric window coverings (bolted to the wall and not that easy to remove/reinstall) and masked off the openings to our kitchen, basement, and upstairs to minimize the dust in the non-treated areas. Throughout the week, I saw three different crews - all were friendly, explained what they were doing, answered questions, gave advice when asked, and throughly cleaned up after themselves. They finished earlier than expected and the results are fantastic. Floors look brand new!

My hardwood floors were in terrible shape. Was overwhelmed at the thought of having to clear out a room and closets, etc. Planned a trip to Disney over Spring Break and decided to start the job then. The job was also complicated by a baby grand piano causing the job to be split into two phases. Most of the work was completed while our family was away at Disney. Upon return, they lifted and moved the piano back into the living room and then completed the dining room. We were home for this phase (and were using the oil-based poly), but did not find this too inconvenient and the fumes were not too bad. The service and the crew were great!! I chose the "cherry" stain and LOVE MY FLOORS! The experience with Mand M was great and my floors look fantastic!!

From beginning to end, the people at Mand M were professional and very accommodating. We had subfloor issues that were not properly dealt with by a previous flooring contractor. Mand M fixed all the problems and installed the new floor perfectly. They provided custom millwork for the transitions to adjoining rooms at no extra cost. The job was done on schedule. We are very happy with the result, and would certainly recommend Mand M for any flooring project.

M and M Floors was recommended by another flooring company that didn't do sanding. Company was very responsive and sent rep to provide free estimate. Got estimate in writing and job was finished at estimated price. Took about four days to do the job, but end result was worth it. The staff were very friendly and easy to deal with. I would definitely recommend to others.

They were very good and they did a good job. They showed up when they said that they would and they did what they were supposed to do. They cleaned up after themselves and did a nice job.

Perfect. The hardwood was installed first over three days. The two workers did an outstanding job plus moved all of my big and heavy furniture! A week later the carpet crew came and installed the carpeting in both areas. They also did an outstanding job.

Everything they do is first rate. They are a great company. I have no complaints and they are amazing to work with. They are experts and their field. They are not a franchise, they are family owned.
