Description of Work: Excellent home design and renovation Co. They have done our bathrooms, kitchen, painting, tile work etc. Professionals at work!! They know what they're doing and they get the job done on time!! I would highly recommend this company to anyone who wants quality workmanship.

Description of Work: We used J & T Home Design for a master bath and master bedroom renovation. The master bedroom required the removal of wall paper in the bedroom and sitting room, then paint on walls, ceilings, and trim. The master bathroom was totally redone, including new floor tile, new shower with new bench and door, new toilet, new tub and tub decking, new double vanity, new plumbing fixtures, new lighting, 2 new exhaust fans, wallpaper removal, paint on walls, ceiling and trim. The bathroom is quite large. I was interested in a marble vanity top, but Jackie recommended we do the entire bath in marble. We ended up putting honed marble on the floor, with a large medallion in the middle of the large room. The shower walls are shiny tile as well as the decking around the tub. And we selected a honed marble (small squares) for the shower floor to avoid any slippery-ness. It's perfect. We are very pleased with the results. Jackie and her husband Teek are easy to work with and they want their clients to be 100% happy. We will use them again if we decide on other projects.

Description of Work: J&T Home Design did many renovations in our townhouse. Redid bathrooms, installed wood floors, backsplash in kitchen, painted all rooms, electrical work etc. They did excellent work, were punctual, answered all phone calls, texts and questions on time. They were great to work with and very professional. I will definitely use them for future work!!!

Description of Work: This is a window washing company whose workers did a good job washing the windows but unfortunately were careless about stepping on foundation bushes near the house and breaking multiple azealia branches. The bushes will regrow but I was surprised that they did not bring long handled equipment as this couldn't be the first time they had bushes to work around. They also abruptly canceled their first scheduled appointment giving me 1 hour notice saying they were running late and could schedule a new appointment the following week. I was very unhappy both with with the short notice and moving the appointment into the following week. They managed to rearrange their schedule and came 2 days later very early in the morning which was helpful.

Description of Work: This is the second time we've hired J and T Design. The first contract was to finish our bathroom in the basement. We wanted an elaborate tile design in the shower and they were able to achieve it. Jackie helped us with the design of the rest of the bathroom (paint, vanity, glass shower door etc.). This time we hired them to fix our balcony. Wonderful to work with! Her crew is all professional and very sweet. They won't leave the job unless you are satisfied. We plan on hiring them again in the future.

+ 0 moreI?m glad that Angie?s List was established to enable the public to give a candid review of a professional?s work because we have found the best home design team on the planet right here in Northern Virginia and since you?re researching basement remodeling contractors, you need to know about them. We have lived in our house since it was built 20 years ago. We told our builder not to finish the basement because we thought we?d have it done a little later on. ?A little later on? became 20 years in a flash, but 20 years of not utilizing the basement living space. Enough was enough and we resolved to get the basement finished. After interviewing seven basement remodeling companies we were most impressed with J&T Home Design. From the outset they were prompt, knowledgeable, courteous, and loaded with great design ideas. They provided three different basement designs for our review along with samples for carpeting, granite, flooring, and cabinetry. Their team even packed up the contents of our basement into boxes and moved them into our garage for us. During construction they were onsite and always accessible. As construction progressed we collaborated on various modifications, material upgrades and functional changes. We learned early on that remodeling is an art, not a science, and found that ideas on paper don?t always translate into reality. But in those instances we found that the end result was actually a better solution than the original idea. Bottom line, all our requests were delivered without any issues. Nothing fazed this team. We didn?t hesitate to voice our opinions or make suggestions because this team?s mission is to deliver a quality product and make their clients happy. For example, in two instances where we suggested making quick fixes to two minor issues that arose, they were the ones to say ?No, we won?t do that because it would look unattractive? and ?No, we?re not going to patch that. We?re going to replace it and make it seamless.? Scope Creep. We admit we are serious perpetrators of scope creep beyond the original project. We did our share of asking: ?Can you guys do this?? ?Is it possible to do that?? ?Can we change our minds and do the other?? Their response?: ?Of course?, ?Sure?, and ?Not a problem?. When you undertake a remodeling project, you want to be assured of the caliber of your renovation team. J&T Home Design?s craftsmanship and attention to detail are top notch. Their work ethic and professionalism are first rate. Flexible. On budget. Responsive. Courteous. On time (even with scope creep). We honestly could not be happier with our final result and are now considering having them do an upgrade to our kitchen.

Description of Work: We called J&T to come give us an estimate to remodel our basement. They showed up on time. She was very professional, she brought samples, and answered all of our questions. They took their time to design the basement to fit all of our needs. The price was extremely reasonable and the quality of the work was top notch. They installed a new bathroom, relocated our laundry room. they drywalled and painted the entire basement. Recarpeted the entire basement. I would recommend them to anyone. They are great.
